The Yellowstone Trail Heritage Day celebration is on Saturday, Aug. 10 in Hudson and St. Croix County. Car enthusiasts can take in three different car shows from 10 a.m. to noon. Come see the Vintage and Classic Car Show at Hudson’s Lakefront Park, the Britfest Car Show coordinated by the Minnesota MG Group and the antique auto show with the Twin Cities Model A Ford Club.
Yellowstone Trail Heritage Day is an annual celebration of the historic Yellowstone Trail which was the first coast-to-coast automobile route across the Northern United States. Hudson, and St. Croix County, was the first stop when entering Wisconsin from the west on the Yellowstone Trail.
Enjoy the Yellowstone Trail Sociability Drive through St. Croix County. Play the Poker Run and earn playing cards for a chance to win a $100 cash prize at the Poker Run Prize Party at Sidetrack Saloon & Grill in Roberts. Check-in is from 3-3:30 p.m. Scorecards are available at all the Poker Runs stops.
While on the Poker Run, don’t miss the history displays throughout the county, at the Hudson Area Public Library from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Hazel Mackin Community Library in Roberts from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Hammond Community Library from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Baldwin Public Library from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Woodville Community Library from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
