TOWN OF EL PASO – The 35th annual El Paso Days celebration promises to provide a full lineup of family friendly activities that bring the little community on the Rush River together.
Festivities kick ou Thurs day, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. with the Joe Janisch Memorial Euchre Tournament and Silent Auction at the El Paso Bar & Grill. Cost to enter is $5; all proceeds will help fill the couers of the El Paso Cri sis Fund, which helps families in need.
Friday, Aug. 19 the Pony Pull gets things going 5-9 p.m. at Adolph’s Log Cabin Bar/Ruth’s Arena. If dinner and show are more your style, head over to El Paso Bar & Grill at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and a performance by the Hot Flashes. Tickets are $30 and available at the bar. Stay awhile afterwards for karaoke from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and show everyone your pipes.
Saturday promises a full slate of events for a full day of fun: Millie Christopherson/Ivo Schlegel Memorial Breakfast, 7:30-11 a.m., El Paso Bar & Grill. Proceeds go to the El Paso Crisis Fund. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, pure maple syrup, toast, or- ange juice, milk and couee. 11th annual Shine & Show Car Show, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Adolph’s Log Cabin Bar. The $5 entry fee includes a dash plaque. Register for door prizes and enjoy live music.
Tractor Cade, 9 a.m., El Paso dead-end. Staging begins at 8 a.m., followed by breakfast at 9 a.m. Tractors leave at 10 a.m. and must be able to go 11 mph. For questions, contact -Dan Fischer at 715-273-4043 or 715-821-1375.
Lawrence N. Pasch Memorial Horseshoe Tournament, 10 a.m., El Paso Bar & Grill, $10 per team.

ATV ride, noon, leaves from El Paso dead-end, south of Adolph’s Log Cabin Bar.
Adolph Johnson Memorial Old Fashioned Horse Pull, noon, Adolph’s Log Cabin Bar. Presented by Midwest Farmers Horse Pulling Association.
Second annual Rhiannon Anderson Memorial Horse Trail Ride, 1 p.m., leave from Adolph’s Log Cabin Bar. $10 per rider, negative coggins required. Ages 15 and under are free.
Bean Bag Tournament, 2 p.m., El Paso Bar & Grill. $10 entry fee with 100% payback.
Western Wisconsin Pedal Tractor Pull Association State Sanctioned Pull, 4 p.m., downtown El Paso (640th Avenue). Free entry for age groups 4 and under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12.
11th annual Cow Float Race, 7 p.m., $10 per floating cow, available at El Paso Bar.
Live country music, 8:30 p.m., El Paso Bar.
Sunday's fun kicks ou at 10 a.m. with the Randy Christopherson Memorial Horseshoe Tournament at the El Paso Bar & Grill. Cost is $10 per team (draw your partner).
An ecumenical worship service will be held at 11:45 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, followed by the famous grand parade at 2 p.m. Grand marshals will be Adolph and Ruth Johnson’s family.
The four days of fun winds down following the parade with the greased pig contest, held at Adolph’s Log Cabin Bar (for ages 3-7), followed by “Rock ‘n Tours” at 4 p.m. at the El Paso Bar & Grill.
