Initial appearances Luke Blaine Anderson,

42, Ellsworth, posted a $5,000 signature bond March 7 on a felony bail jumping charge. A status conference is slated for 8:30 a.m. April 6.

Ernest V. Davis Jr., 63, River Falls, posted a $10,000 signature bond March 7 on felony possession of methamphetamine and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A preliminary hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. April 12.

Aaron Ryan Glynn, 33, Prescott, was ordered to pay $500 cash bail March 7 on felony battery or threat to judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer, resisting or obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and four misdemeanor bail jumping charges. A preliminary hearing is slated for 11:30 a.m. April 12.

Justin Michael Hause, 24, Mason City, Iowa, pleaded not guilty and posted a $5,000 signature bond March 3 on intimidate victim/dissuade reporting and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges. A pretrial conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. April 11.

A bench warrant was issued for Dexter Davon Henderson, 36, River Falls, when he failed to make an initial appearance March 2 on possession of THC (as party to a crime), possess drug paraphernalia (as party to a crime), neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur) and two felony neglecting a child (no harm and child under six or disability) charges.

Jacob Joseph Jessen, 43, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond March 7 on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 3:45 p.m. April 15.

A bench warrant was issued for Jacob David Koltz, 23, Wausau, when he failed to make an initial appearance March 7 on an operate without valid license (second within three years) charge.

Jeffrey Joseph Krings, 38, Arkansaw, posted a $5,000 signature bond on misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges March 7. A pre-trial conference is slated for 11:30 a.m. April 8.

A bench warrant was issued for Rosco Demar Lewis, 33, Red Wing, Minn., when he failed to make an initial appearance March 7 on an operate without valid license (second within three years) charge.

Kayla Louise Loverude,

33, Durand, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond March 7 on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 10:15 a.m. April 15.

A bench warrant was issued for Juan Carlos Mendivil-Nunez,

26, Red Wing, Minn., when he failed to make an initial appearance March 7 on two operate without valid license (second within three years) charges.

Raymond James Quade,

49, Maiden Rock, pleaded not guilty and posted a $250 signature bond March 7 on an operate without valid license (second within three years) charge. A A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. April 12.

Serena Jo Radinzel, 32, River Falls, pleaded not guilty to and posted a $2,500 signature bond March 8 on OWIsecond and operating with PAC (second) charges. A pretrial conference is set for 3:30 p.m. April 15.

Wayne Robert Schmutz,

21, Menomonie, pleaded not guilty to and posted a $2,500 signature bond March 7 to OWI-second and operating with PAC (second) charges. A pre-trial conference is slated for 11:45 a.m. April 12.

Chelse M. Struemke, 33, Roberts, posted a $10,000 signature bond March 7 on disorderly conduct, resisting or obstructing an officer and three felony bail jumping charges. A preliminary hearing is set for 11:30 a.m. April 15.

Meadow Jean Willgrubs,

42, Red Wing, Minn., posted a $1,000 signature bond March 7 on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 4 p.m. April 15.

Deferred cases Lucas Scott Johnson, 37, Cottage Grove, Minn., pleaded no contest to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a battery charge March 4. The charge resulted from a May 16, 2020 incident.

Melissa L. Knutson, 37, Crystal, Minn., was convicted of resisting or obstructing an officer and violate/harassment restraining order – injunction, sentenced to one year of probation and fined $886 March 4. She pleaded guilty to and entered into a three-year deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a felony seconddegree recklessly endangering safety charge. Felony vehicle operator flee/elude officer and disorderly conduct charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from a June 23, 2020 incident.

Mary Jane Phillips, 42, River Falls, was found guilty of neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur) and entered into a one-year deferred judgment of conviction agreement March 7. The charge resulted from a March 3, 2019 incident.

Joey L. Wilson, 42, Prescott, pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement March 7 on a disorderly conduct charge. The charge stemmed from a June 26 incident.

Closed cases Darian Margaret Bohlman-Reyna, 28, Owatonna, Minn., was convicted of entry into/onto building/construction site/room (as party to a crime) March 7, sentenced to 104 days in jail (time served) and fined $443. Information was filed on a felony burglary – building or dwelling (as party to a crime) charge. The charges resulted from March 24, 2021 incident in Prescott.

Michael Duane Condon,

59, Eau Claire, was convicted of felony child abuse – intentionally cause harm Oct. 29, and sentenced to 1.5 years in prison and three years extended supervision and fined $518 March 4. He was ordered to have no contact with anyone under the age of 18 without prior agent approval, to complete a sexual deviancy evaluation and comply with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry Program. The charge resulted from a March 4, 2019 incident.

Dean T. Dawald, 26, River Falls, was convicted of OWIsecond, sentenced to 30 days in jail (20 days stayed), and ordered to install an ignition interlock device for one year after a one-year driver’s license revocation March 4. An operating with PAC-second charge was dismissed. The charges stemmed from a March 21, 2021 traffic stop.

Steven Jo Flier, 47, River Falls, was convicted of possession of controlled substance and fined $443 March 7. The charge resulted from a May 2 incident.

A felony vehicle operator flee/elude officer charge against Nathaniel Scott Kline Fox, 37, Cannon Falls, Minn., was dismissed March 2 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from a Jan. 8, 2021 incident.

Noah W. Garland, 35, Hudson, was sentenced to six months in jail (87 days credit) and ordered to pay $886 in court costs at a March 7 probation revocation/sentencing hearing. Garland had been convicted of two theft – movable property charges Oct. 26 and sentenced to two years’ probation Oct. 26, 2021. The charges resulted from incidents June 14 and 19, 2019.

Jeffrey J. Nelson, 57, River Falls, was convicted of disorderly conduct and credit card – fraudulent use March 8 and fined $720.80. Credit card – fraudulent use and two credit card – theft by acquisition charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from incidents Feb. 6, 2019 and Sept. 25, 2016.

Lauren Taylor Scarset, 21, St. Paul, was convicted violate foreign protection order Jan. 21, 2021, sentenced to one year’s probation and fined $961 and ordered to pay $875.79 in restitution; she also pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a felony substantial battery – intend bodily harm charge. Her probation was revoked Nov. 30, 2021 and the deferred judgment of conviction agreement revoked Dec. 14, 2021. For the probation revocation, Scarset was sentenced to five months in jail (with 63 days credit) on Jan. 4. On March 2, she was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison and two years’ extended supervision (stayed) and three years’ probation and ordered to pay $1,836.79 in outstanding court costs on the felony battery charge. The charges resulted from a July 10, 2019 incident.

Joshua Tyler Smith-Larson, 26, Cottage Grove, Minn., was convicted of three disorderly conduct charges, sentenced to four days in jail (time served), ordered to pay $500 in restitution and fined $1,329 March 2. Resisting or obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct, two criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct (use of a dangerous weapon) and two misdemeanor bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents May 12, July 12, July 20, Sept. 15, and Jan. 16.

Felony strangulation and suffocation, battery, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct charges against David Wayne Tanner, 36, Ellsworth, were dismissed March 4. The charges stemmed from a Jan. 15 incident.
