The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department Feb. 1319.
Monday, Feb. 13
A complainant reported at 11:30 a.m. that a man on a bike had opened two doors on the east side of the car wash (314 N. Maple St.) around 1:30 a.m. and then left. The woman provided video to police and asked that the man be trespassed from the property.
Two Ellsworth Middle School students were found to be in possession of two vapes that contained THC at 12:27 p.m.
At 3:35 p.m., a man contacted police for help in getting belongings from 102 Evergreen Estates St. with a no contact order in place.
At 5:42 p.m., a vehicle pulled into the parking lot and struck the building at 232 N. Wallace St. Damage was minor.
Tuesday, Feb. 14
An Ellsworth High School student was cited at 12:27 p.m. for possessing four e-cigarettes. They tested negative for THC.
Wednesday, Feb. 15
At 5:41 a.m., police made contact with a resident at 260 Plum St. where a truck’s horn was blaring. Police received a driving complaint at 6:26 p.m. of a vehicle of juveniles driving slowly and waving people past them at Piety and Warner streets. The vehicle was not located.
At 3:44 p.m., an Ellsworth Middle School employee reported concerns about a possible online relationship between a student and an adult. Information was passed onto the sheriff’s office.
Thursday, Feb. 16
At 7:17 a.m., an unknown caller made threats over the phone to a business at 403 N. Maple St.
While driving past 933 Southgate Drive at 10:56 a.m., police saw the home’s garage door and interior door standing wide open. No vehicles were in the garage or driveway. They contacted the homeowner, who was unaware the doors were open. Police were able to secure the doors.
At 5:57 p.m., a woman was trespassed from 440 E. Wall St. The suspect wanted to know why and was told she the business owner has a right to trespass people from private property. She asked if she could fight it in court and was advised of the open records request process.
Friday, Feb. 17
Officers responded to a home alarm at 8 a.m. at 402 W. Hillcrest St. A family member was on the scene and said everything was okay.
Saturday, Feb. 18
Police performed a welfare check at 7:25 p.m. at 141 Evergreen Estates St. Justin I. Mudrick, 40, Osceola, was arrested for a warrant and possess drug paraphernalia and transported to Pierce County Jail.
At 7:25 p.m., a caller at 193 E. Main St. reported a man on a bike checking vehicles to see if they were unlocked. Police watched him go into Family Dollar, then slowly ride away on his bike.
Sunday, Feb. 19 Ashley L. Korynta, 26, Blaine, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 3:47 p.m. at Maple Street and Crosstown Road. Police had witnessed a male driver park at Holiday and switch with Korynta. He thought he didn’t have a valid driver’s license, but he did.
At 6:02 p.m., police received a noise complaint about 160 W. Hines St. It appeared a party was going on. They were warned to keep the noise down.
Officers found a chair in the roadway at 6:39 p.m. at Maple Street and Crosstown Road.
