Ellsworth Police Department reports: Aug. 18-24, 2025

The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department Aug. 18-24, 2025.

Monday, Aug. 18

  • Police assisted EMS with a medical at 12:03 p.m. at 301 N. Maple St.
  • At 2:23 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a man who drives drunk to buy liquor at 469 W. Main St. then drives home. They didn’t provide a name, just a plate number. The plate didn’t match any Ellsworth residents.
  • At 4:52 p.m., police took a blue BMX bike that had been left at the fairgrounds (364 N. Maple St.) for more than three weeks. It was put in police storage.
  • At 5:08 p.m., a man at 155 W. Humble Ave. reported being scammed out of $600.
  • Officers provided extra patrol at 5:49 p.m. at the school board meeting (445 S. Piety St.)

 

Tuesday, Aug. 19

  • At 8:05 p.m., an anonymous caller complained of a vehicle parked on the street for two weeks near 939 Hilden Drive. The owner was warned.
  • At 10:35 a.m., a caller reported a brown dog with a white stripe running loose in the area near Plum and Church streets the past couple of days. Police located the dog at 363 W. Church St. The brown Pitbull was skittish and stubborn. The owner, found at 364 W. Church St., was told to get the dog licensed and keep it on their property.
  • At 12:10 p.m., a complainant reported someone in a vehicle taking photos of a home at 441 W. Highland Drive and the neighbors. They weren’t located.
  • Officers responded to a minor two-vehicle crash at 12:58 p.m. at Main and Grant streets between Jared Gurell Bee, 51, Ellsworth, and Patricia Ann Murphy, 81, Ellsworth.
  • At 4:40 p.m., a caller reported a trailer parked blocking their driveway at 240 Panther Drive. The construction crew said they’d move it the next day, which the resident agreed to.

 

Wednesday, Aug. 20

  • Terri Lee Casello, 33, Ellsworth, was cited for non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 10:03 a.m. at 141 Evergreen Estates St.
  • At 6:02 p.m., residents at 240 Panther Drive reported a trailer again blocking their driveway. The construction crew was told to move it.

 

Thursday, Aug. 21

  • At 8:44 a.m., police received a complaint of someone knocking on a car window and acting strangely at Industrial Road and Maple Street. The suspect, when located, was uncooperative. He had just been released from jail and wanted a ride. He was advised he could be arrested if he caused problems in town.
  • Donna Mae Schultz, 66, Ellsworth, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 12:45 p.m. at Maple and South streets.
  • At 1:35 p.m., a resident at 181 Evergreen Estates St. was given until Sept. 5 to remove junk and unsightly debris from the property.
  • Police spoke to a man regarding a civil issue at 3:34 p.m. at 126 S. Chestnut St.
  • At 4:18 p.m., police assisted with a tipped over motorcycle at Crosstown Road and Maple Street.
  • At 9:38 p.m., police checked on people outside a storage unit at 526 Railroad Ave. Nothing suspicious was occurring.

 

Friday, Aug. 22

  • At 1:36 p.m., a resident at 621 S. Piety St. reported someone trying to fraudulently access her bank account. She changed her account information and froze her credit before anything was taken.
  • A caller reported two bicyclists for driving unsafely at 7:51 p.m. at Piety and Main streets. The suspects were named.
  • A suspicious man was reported at 11:41 p.m. at 130 N. Grant St. Tejay Allen Skordahl, 41, Ellsworth, was arrested for a warrant.

 

Saturday, Aug. 23

  • Matthew Garret Mason, 56, Ellsworth, reported striking a piece of rebar in the dump at 10:07 a.m. at 185 E. Viola St.
  • Cody Thomas Williams, 30, Hager City, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and a probation hold at 7:28 p.m. at 191 Evergreen Estates St.
  • Officers assisted Pierce County Jail staff with a disorderly person brought in at 10:29 p.m. from N7838 535th, Spring Valley.

 

Sunday, Aug. 24

At 3:42 p.m., police came across two people arguing in front of 252 W. Kinne St. A woman said she was going to leave.
