The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department Dec. 15-21, 2025.

Monday, Dec. 15

  • Officers assisted Pierce County deputies with a resisting subject during a traffic stop at 1:12 a.m. at Crosscut and Wall streets.
  • A caller reported being harassed at 8:12 a.m. at 323 W. Hillcrest St. The suspect was seen driving past the high school as the complainant arrived at work that morning.
  • Police were asked to check on a homeless person at 4:47 p.m. at Pierce County Fairgrounds (364 N. Maple St.) No one was found.
  • Officers assisted Pierce County deputies at 7:52 p.m. at 610 E. Main St.

Tuesday, Dec. 16

  • Vincent Mariano Stella, 22, Minneapolis, was cited for a winter parking violation at 2:47 a.m. at Bourbon Circle and Hollywood Street.
  • Alexander Amadeus Zackary, 26, Ellsworth, was cited for a winter parking violation at 3:18 a.m. at Main and Broadway streets.
  • Officers assisted EMS at 7:37 p.m. at 320 E. Wall St.
  • Police conducted field sobriety tests on a suspicious person in a vehicle at 10:56 p.m. at 532 S. Piety St.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 17

  • Meggan J. Husby, 50, Ellsworth, was cited for a winter parking violation at 4:34 a.m. at Maple and Elm streets.
  • Sara Jane Owen Malles, 45, Maiden Rock, was cited for a winter parking violation at 4:38 a.m. at Maple and Elm streets.
  • Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at 4:16 p.m. at Industrial Road and Maple Street between Kailey Margaret Wilcox, 32, Ellsworth, and Kelvin Dominique DaSilva, 25, Plum City. DaSilva was cited for inattentive driving.
  • Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at 4:47 p.m. at 610 E. Main St. between Erin Leigh Pearson, 46, Ellsworth, and Keith Ernest Harvey, 68, Elmwood.
  • Robert Roger Eggenberger, 45, Red Wing, Minn., was cited for displaying an unauthorized vehicle registration plate after a traffic stop at 6:34 p.m. at Industrial Road and Maple Street.
  • At 7:38 p.m., police received a report of threats made during a Pierce County Land Management meeting at 414 W. Main St.
  • Police conducted a welfare check at 9:14 p.m. on a woman at 535 W. Kinne St. The woman’s husband said he’d care for her.

Thursday, Dec. 18

  • Christine Leigh Burleson, 54, Ellsworth, was cited for a winter parking violation at 3:06 a.m. at Chestnut and Spruce streets.
  • Trinity Jo Wilkens, 21, Ellsworth, was cited for a winter parking violation at 3:22 a.m. at Wall and Broadway streets.
  • Joseph Allen Berg, 38, River Falls, was cited for a winter parking violation at 3:50 a.m. at Main and Broadway streets.
  • At 8:33 a.m., police spoke with a man regarding threats allegedly made at a Pierce County Land Management meeting at 414 W. Main St.
  • Officers assisted EMS at 3:41 p.m. at 372 W. Main St.
  • Officers assisted police with a traffic stop at 7:12 p.m. at Maple and Cairns streets.
  • At 8:24 p.m., a woman reported being bitten by dog while trying to get food away from it at 186 Thoner Court. A quarantine order was issued.
  • Police assisted Pierce County deputies in checking on horses at 10:08 p.m. at W6444 570th, Ellsworth. The horses had food and shelter. Their water was frozen; there were no tracks in the fresh snow.

 

Friday, Dec. 19

  • At 12:04 p.m., police were dispatched for an open door at a foreclosed property at 603 E. Main St. Nothing was found inside. There were no fresh tracks in the snow nor any signs of forced entry.
  • Police were asked to stand by at 12:37 p.m. while a woman gathered property from a former roommate at 244 W. Main St. The complainant wanted to report items damaged and missing from when she moved out. She was told it’s a civil matter.
  • At 12:50 p.m., police were asked to perform a welfare check on a juvenile at a home in the 600 block of West Kinne Street who hasn’t been to school in a month. The mother reported the child hasn’t been to school because of medical issues.
  • At 3:19 p.m., police took a report of a possible sexual assault at Ellsworth High School (323 W. Hillcrest St.) that occurred in the county.
  • Officers assisted EMS with a man who passed out at 4:07 p.m. at 131 Evergreen Estates St.

 

Saturday, Dec. 20

  • Janelle Marie Jarchow, 40, Sand Springs., Okla., was arrested for OWI-first after a traffic stop at 12:43 a.m. at Beulah and Main streets.
  • Alyssa Rose Puhalla, 18, Hudson, was cited for a winter parking violation at 3:06 a.m. at Main and Chestnut streets.
  • Officers were notified of a minor two-vehicle crash at 3:24 p.m. in the parking lot of Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery (232 N. Wallace St.) between Jacob Randy Brickner, 38, Hudson, and Jared Gurell Bee, 52, Ellsworth. Bee pulled into a parking stall as Brickner opened his door and struck the door. Bee’s vehicle had a small dent.
  • At 3:54 p.m., a man called police to inform them of a man driving without a license near 242 N. Broadway St. Police didn’t locate him. The complainant said he called in the suspect because the suspect always calls him in. This is an ongoing family dispute.
  • Police received a noise complaint at 7:39 p.m. at 181 Evergreen Estates St. Police heard no violations.

 

Sunday, Dec. 21

  • Police were dispatched to check on a possibly suicidal female at 1:41 a.m. at a home in the 500 block of Burton Circle. The woman was transported by EMS.
  • Matthew Lucas Myer, 36, Alma, was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 3:27 a.m. at Main and Hillsdale streets.
  • At 4:58 p.m., police checked on a suspicious vehicle parked near the county recycling center at 707 N. Maple St. The gate was secure.
  • Police smelled gas at 6:49 p.m. in the area of 325 Railroad Ave. Lakes Gas was contacted.
