Ellsworth Police Department reports: Feb. 16-22, 2026

The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department Feb. 16-22, 2026.
Monday, Feb. 16
Brittney Christine Witzke, 47, Bay City, was cited for a winter parking violation at 2:33 a.m. at Grant and Church streets.
At 5:09 p.m., police assisted Pierce County deputies with a possible missing child who was found walking from the library near Main and Beulah streets.
Tuesday, Feb. 17
Scott E. Mausolf, 46, Prescott, was cited for a winter parking violation at 2:53 a.m. at 126 S. Chestnut St.
Nickolaus Coby Hanson, 26, Ellsworth, was cited for a winter parking violation at 3:08 a.m. at 354 E. Wall St.
A vape was found in the hallway at 12:41 p.m. at Ellsworth Middle School (312 Panther Drive). It fell out in front of a student’s locker, whose parents were informed.
Brianna Storm Kobs-Stromley, 29, Beldenville, reported backing into a vehicle at 1:29 p.m. at 157 E. Main St. driven by Bonita Kathleen Gerdes, 81, Ellsworth. The damage was minor; no injuries were reported.
Police conducted a welfare check at 4:06 p.m. on someone suspected to be living in their vehicle at 240 N. Broadway St. He said he was waiting for a friend. His license was suspended and the vehicle’s registration was expired. Police confiscated the license plates.
At 5:12 p.m., a dog owner was warned about their loose pet at 182 E. Sunset Lane.
Wednesday, Feb. 18
At 10:53 a.m., a woman reported a domestic that had occurred the night before at 346 E. Wall St. Colton Paul Jurgensen, 35, Ellsworth, was arrested for disorderly conduct without incident.
Police were asked to do a welfare check at 4:10 p.m. at 346 E. Wall St. Everyone was fine.
Two trucks were reportedly stuck on the West Hill at 6:12 p.m. at Highway 10 and Hill Street. They were not located.
Officers assisted county deputies at 6:57 p.m. at 750th Street and 490th Avenue, Ellsworth.
A semi was reportedly stuck at the Wallace and Main streets intersection at 7:14 p.m. It backed up into the Cenex truck parking area to wait out the weather.
A vehicle slide-in was reported at 9:04 p.m. at Crosstown Road and Railroad Avenue. The family pulled it out of the ditch.
Luke Allen Coquyt, 37, Ellsworth, was arrested for a probation violation and trespassed from Broz Bar at 10:59 p.m. at 455 E. Wall St.
Thursday, Feb. 19
Jesse Eugene Hughes, 40, Maide Rock, was cited for a winter parking violation at 3:49 a.m. at Main ad Broadway streets.
Friday, Feb. 20
Michael Charles Cook, 38, Ellsworth, was cited for a winter parking violation at 3:34 a.m. at Maple and Church streets.
Ethan Kadyn Ziarnik, 27, Maiden Rock, was cited for speeding and warned for expired plates after a traffic stop at 8:13 a.m. at Hilden Drive and 490th
Officers stood by at 9 a.m. while a man gathered property at 346 E. Wall St.
Sunday, Feb. 22
Officers assisted deputies at 1:31 a.m. at Pierce County Jail (555 W. Overlook Drive).
Police were asked to conduct a welfare check on a potential domestic not in progress at 5:45 p.m. at 225 W. Grove St. Nothing was going on.
