The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department Feb 2-8, 2026.

Monday, Feb. 2

  • Betty A. Goodrich, 55, Ellsworth, was cited for a winter parking violation at 2:32 a.m. at Old West Main and Northview streets.
  • At 1:32 p.m., a caller had questions about a property dispute at MC Storage (861 N. Brown St.)
  • At 4:15 p.m., a caller reported an injured deer in the woods at 707 N. Brown St. It was not located.

Tuesday, Feb. 3

  • Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at 1:17 p.m. at 265 N. Broadway St. between Thomas Michael McCoy, 44, Onalaska, and Michael Todd Hansen, 53, Prescott. A brown semi struck the rear of a truck while it was parked and left the scene. Police collected video from a nearby business that showed the incident.
  • Police were called to a custody exchange at 6:20 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of West Humble Street. One party had questions about the amended order; they were told to contact the family court.
  • Ashley Elizabeth Murphy, 35, Ellsworth, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:40 p.m. at Industrial Road and Maple Street.
  • Enrique Vega Diaz, 19, Brooklyn Center, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop for driving in the wrong lane at 9:27 p.m. at Maple and Cairns streets.
  • Jesus Alberto Perez Perez, 18, Ellsworth, was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop for operating without headlights at 11:22 p.m. at Oak and Main streets.

Wednesday, Feb. 4

  • A theft was reported at 9:34 a.m. at 455 E. Wall St.
  • Police were called at 11:30 a.m. for a mental health crisis at the Pierce County Office Building (412 W. Kinne St.) The person was given a courtesy ride to River Falls Area Hospital.
  • Financial fraud was reported at 2:38 p.m. at 403 N. Maple St.
  • A business alarm sounded at 3:55 p.m. at 412 W. Kinne St. It was a false alarm.
  • Police stood by at 4:04 p.m. at 414 W. Main St. for a vehicle exchange.
  • Dana Colleen Hanson, 44, Hager City, was cited for expired registration after a traffic stop at 7:02 p.m. at Main and Broadway streets.

Thursday, Feb. 5

  • Reggie Duane Gilbertson, 50, Hudson, was arrested for operating after revocation after a traffic stop at 6:51 p.m. at County Road DD and Highway 10.
  • Police were dispatched at 10:05 p.m. to 165 E. Susan St. for a disorderly person throwing belongings in the complainant’s yard. The suspect was told to clean up and sent home.

Friday, Feb. 6

  • Police assisted EMS with a medical call at 7:04 a.m. at 621 W. Cairns St. EMS was not needed.
  • Tejay Allen Skordahl, 42, Ellsworth, was arrested for a probation violation at 9:30 a.m. at 310 W. Main St.
  • Sherry Charlene Wells, 38, Red Wing, Minn., was arrested for a warrant at 10:53 a.m. at 455 E. Wall St.
  • Police conducted a welfare check on a man at 4:57 p.m. at 157 E. Main St. He was just waiting for a prescription to be filled.
  • Gary Ledell Campbell, 65, River Falls, was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop for speeding at 8:59 p.m. at Industrial Road and Maple Street.

Saturday, Feb. 7

  • Police assisted Pierce County deputies with an inmate under tense circumstances at 3:55 a.m. at 555 W. Overlook Drive.
  • At 12:20 p.m., a caller reported a hit and run at Piety Street and Panther Drive. The caller parked the vehicle at 7 p.m. Feb. 6 near 717 Piety St. At 9 p.m. he saw damage to the vehicle’s rear quarter panel.
  • Derrick Robert, 24, Waite Park, Minn., was cited for operate vehicle without insurance after a traffic stop for speeding at 9:58 p.m. at Main and Plum streets.

Sunday, Feb. 8

  • At 9:21 a.m., a caller at 340 W. Grove St. reported hearing a loud noise on the street at 9 p.m. the night before. She found a plastic pick tool box laying in the street.
  • Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at 7:54 p.m. at McDonald’s (159 W. Main St.) between Kalijah James Meyers, 18, Maiden Rock, and Arik Jesse Molter, 20, Ellsworth.
  • Officers were dispatched to a one-vehicle crash at 11:06 p.m. at 1536 N. Maple St. Gage Harlan Johnson, 23, Hager City, was cited for OWI and failure to keep vehicle under control.
