Ellsworth Police Department reports for Jan. 13-19, 2025

The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department Jan. 13-19.
Monday, Jan. 13
At 3:27 p.m., a man reported receiving a call from someone claiming to be an investigator with the Ellsworth Police Department. He was advised the call was fraudulent and told to block the number.
Tuesday, Jan. 14
Michaela Elizabeth Oellrich, 26, Ellsworth, was cited for driving too fast for conditions after running a stop sign at 6:55 a.m. in the 300 block of Maple Street.
At 12:13 p.m., police assisted EMS with a woman who fell at 806 W. Lucas Lane.
At 7:09 p.m. a hit and run was reported at Brown Street and Overlook Drive. A silver vehicle had damage to the front driver’s side bumper.
Officers assisted Ellsworth Fire at 9:46 p.m. at 271 E. Summit Ave.
Wednesday, Jan. 15
Police responded to a fire alarm at 11:40 a.m. at 312 Industrial Road. A driver accidentally activated the alarm.
Officers assisted PCSO with a crash at 6:29 p.m. at 610th Avenue and Highway 65.
Thursday, Jan. 16
Police assisted PCSO with a crash at 7:27 a.m. at Highway 10 and 860th
Officers assisted EMS with a man who fell and was bleeding from his head at 2:51 p.m. at 181 E. Main St.
Police were called at 3:04 p.m. to McDonald’s for someone who was waiting for a ride. There appeared to be some caregiver issues, so police took them to the ADRC.
Police checked on a car alarm going off at 6:30 p.m. at 323 W. Hillcrest St. Everything appeared to be secure.
Police assisted PCSO with a warrant arrest at 7:06 p.m. at 540 W. Cairns St.
Friday, Jan. 17
Officers assisted PCSO at the jail at 12:26 a.m.
Crystal Louie Woycik, 43, Ellsworth, was cited for a winter parking violation at 2:56 a.m. at Maple and Spruce streets.
Henry Mason Redfield, 21, Stillwater, Minn., was cited for a winter parking violation at 3:04 a.m. at Chestnut and Church streets.
Seth Dennis Redfield, 54, Stillwater, Minn., was cited for a winter parking violation at 3:10 a.m. at Chestnut and Church streets.
Saturday, Jan. 18
April Marie Gipford, 23, Spring Valley, was cited for a winter parking violation at 2:51 a.m. at 971 Hilden Drive.
Police assisted EMS with a man having heart problems at 8:55 a.m. at 328 S. Maple St.
Sunday, Jan. 19
Justin Wade Eggenberger, 26, Hudson, was cited for a winter parking violation at 3:51 a.m. at 432 W. Grove St.
Police investigated a complaint of someone walking around at 11:01 a.m. at N5604 610th No one was found.
