Ellsworth Police Department reports: Jan. 5-11, 2026

The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department Jan. 5-11, 2026.
Monday, Jan. 5
Police were dispatched to a welfare check at 7:36 p.m. at a home in the 1100 block of Debra Street. Prior to police arriving, the complainant said everything was fine.
Police assisted Pierce County deputies with a subject brought to the jail from Prescott at 7:24 p.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 6
Christina Marie Papineau, 32, Spring Valley, was cited for a winter parking violation at 3:04 a.m. at Wall and Broadway streets.
Christ Donavan Christiansen, 58, Prescott, was cited for a winter parking violation at 3:20 a.m. at Grant and Grove streets.
At 8:41 a.m., a caller reported her ex had been walking around her home at 6:50 a.m. trying to speak to their child in the 200 block of Panther Drive. He returned at 7:45 a.m. and walking around the house knocking on windows. She wanted the incident documented.
At 3:34 p.m., a resident at 141 S. Maple St. reported another tenant leaving inappropriate notes for other tenants.
At 6:43 p.m., a complainant at 302 W. Kinne St. reported harassment via Facebook. She was advised to block the business but said she would not.
At 11:34 p.m., a juvenile was warned for a curfew violation in the 100 block of South Chestnut Street.
Wednesday, Jan. 7
Police received an animal complaint at 3:36 a.m. at Maple and Warner streets. It was not located.
Officers assisted EMS with a woman experiencing chest pain at 6:52 a.m. at 258 N. Beulah St.
At 8:15 a.m., a caller reported a Husky with a red collar running on the road stopping semis near 274 E. Main St. The owner came to pick up the dog after police brought to a vet for a chip reading.
At 2:58 p.m., police were called to Ellsworth Public Library (388 W. Main St.) for a threats complaint. Police spoke to both parties and their parents about threats made over SnapChat. They were advised to cease contact and block each other. One parent reported the messages continuing.
Thursday, Jan. 8
At 9:59 a.m., police responded to 157 E. Main St. for a citizen who fell on a village sidewalk. The man said he slipped on a patch of ice and was experiencing knee pain. He denied EMS but accepted a ride home. Police took photos of the icy sidewalk.
Friday, Jan. 9
Shauna Marlene Kuhl, 24, River Falls, was cited for a winter parking violation at 2:39 a.m. at Grant and Church streets.
Officers assisted EMS at 8:35 a.m. at 133 Evergreen Estates St. The complainant was transported due to leg pain.
Travis Michael Oraskovich, 51, Ellsworth, was arrested for OWI-first (passenger under 16) after a traffic stop for following too closely at highways 29 and 65 in River Falls.
Saturday, Jan. 10
Michael Eugene Wyland, 35, Ellsworth, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct after an incident at 11:32 a.m. at 815 E. Main St.
Derek Duell Abram, 41, Ellsworth, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct after an incident at 3:04 p.m. at 591 N. Maple St.
At 10:13 a.m., a complainant reported people arguing in an apartment at 370 W. Main St. Police heard nothing when they responded.
Sunday, Jan. 11
At 7:52 a.m., police responded to a civil matter at 232 S. Piety St. The complainant said he’s been watching someone’s dog and they haven’t picked it up.
Officers assisted Pierce County deputies with a suspicious activity report at 9:41 p.m. at W7598 Highway 10.
