The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department July 14-20, 2025

Monday, July 14

Cecelia Rose Jackson, 32, Kenyon, Minn., was cited for shoplifting at 5:06 p.m. at 181 E. Main St. She paid for the stolen items in the presence of police.

Tuesday, July 15

  • Possible fraud was reported by employees at 7:21 a.m. at WESTconsin Credit Union (385 W. Main St.)
  • Scott Allen Walker, 58, Ellsworth, was cited for harassing an employee at 8:14 a.m. at 181 E. Main St.
  • Officers responded to a minor two-vehicle crash at 12:11 p.m. at 314 N. Maple St. between Wesley James Franklin, 27, Ellsworth, and Mary Rohr Brand, 62, Ellsworth.
  • A hit and run was reported at 3:08 p.m. at 105 Evergreen Estates St.
  • Officers assisted EMS at 11:44 p.m. at 132 Evergreen Estates St.

 

Wednesday, July 16

  • Police removed a tree branch from the roadway at 4:39 a.m. at Main and Broadway streets.
  • A power pole started on fire at 10:08 p.m. near Piety and Strickland streets. The fire was put out and Xcel Energy was contacted.

 

Thursday, July 17

  • A person illegally dumped an item without paying at 10:13 a.m. at 707 N. Maple St. The subject was informed of the rules.
  • Officers assisted EMS at 5:06 p.m. at 141 Evergreen Estates St.
  • Police assisted and checked on EMS at 7:07 p.m. at 264 Panther Drive.
  • Police assisted EMS at 7:12 p.m. at Summit Park (100 W. Grove St.)

 

Saturday, July 19

  • Officers assisted EMS at 4:40 p.m. at 141 S. Maple St.
  • Officers assisted Pierce County with a warrant arrest at 6:18 p.m. at 112 Evergreen Estates St.
  • Staff at McDonald’s (159 W. Main St.) requested a welfare check on a man at 10:41 p.m. The man didn’t want to identify himself and left without incident.

 

Sunday, July 20

  • A Venmo scam was reported at 12:20 p.m. at 228 W. Summit Ave. No money was missing.
  • Police responded to a domestic at 10:40 p.m. at 454 High Point Drive. The suspect left before the incident was reported. Battery and disorderly conduct charges will be referred.
