The following incidents were reported to the Ellsworth Police Department July 7-13, 2025

Monday, July 7

  • At 2:59 p.m., police received a complaint of dump trucks driving too fast in the 600 block of South Maple Street.
  • Rear license plates were reported stolen from a vehicle at 5:47 p.m. at 112 Evergreen Estates St.

 

Tuesday, July 8

  • Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at 1:48 p.m. at Highway 10 and County Road C between Kimbra Sue Smith, 65, Ellsworth, and William Timothy Scinocca, 17, Rosemount, Minn.
  • A possible assault/abuse was reported at 3:49 p.m. at a residence in the 100 block of Sun Circle.
  • Officers responded to a report of an out-of-control juvenile at 8:47 p.m. at a home in the 400 block of West Warner Street.
  • At 10:07 p.m., police received a report of a domestic that allegedly happened a few months ago at 454 High Point Drive.

 

Wednesday, July 9

  • Police assisted Pierce County deputies with a warrant arrest at 11:26 a.m. at 412 W. Kinne St.
  • At 2:42 p.m., officers assisted EMS with a man having a heart attack at 155 Evergreen Estates St.
  • Margaret Renea Coronado-Hoyer, 58, Ellsworth, was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 4:16 p.m. at 101 N. Maple St.
  • At 7:07 p.m., police notified the project manager of an issue at 323 S. Grant St.
  • At 11:02 p.m., police received a report of someone walking in and out of traffic near Main and Utility streets. Police located the subject and advised them not to walk in traffic. The person requested extra patrol in the area of Utility and Bio Avenue.

 

Thursday, July 10

  • At 1:44 p.m., a Pierce County investigator saw a vehicle parked at Summit Park (100 W. Grove St.) and a male FedEx driver get into it. Both subjects said they were just hanging out.
  • At 8:12 p.m., police assisted Pierce County deputies with searching a suspect vehicle at Highway 10 and 450th
  • At 9:36 p.m., a missing juvenile was reported at a home in the 500 block of West Mitchell Street. The juvenile had left and stopped responding to a parent’s phone calls. The juvenile returned home shortly after the report was made.

 

Friday, July 11

  • At 12:46 p.m., a resident reported a neighbor’s dog barking constantly when it’s outside at 137 N. Oak St. The neighbor said the dog isn’t outside long and only barks when other dogs outside are barking. They were asked to be aware of the issue. Police didn’t hear the dog barking.
  • Police received a fireworks complaint at 10:37 p.m. at Pond and Campbell streets. They weren’t able to located it.

 

Saturday, July 12

  • Officers responded to an unattended death at 9:22 a.m. at 431 W. Cairns St.
  • Police assisted Ellsworth Fire with a car fire at 1:59 p.m. at Wall and Main streets.
  • At 7:18 p.m., police received word of a phone theft at the Klaas-Jonas Community Pool (312 Panther Drive). Police assisted Pierce County deputies in retrieving the phone and returning it to its owner.
  • Jay Dale Oberg, 45, Ellsworth, was cited for non-registration vehicle/auto after a traffic stop at 7:18 p.m. at Wall and Main streets.
  • Police assisted deputies with a vehicle crash at 8:45 p.m. at N6591 County Road J, Beldenville.
  • Officers assisted a resident who fell to the ground at 10:06 p.m. at 739 W. Lucas Lane. They helped her to her residence.

 

Sunday, July 13

Police assisted Pierce County deputies at 7:34 a.m. with containment of rogue cattle at 610th Street and Highway 10.
