Ellsworth Police Department reports: June 2-8, 2025

The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department June 2-8, 2025.
Monday, June 2
At 8:22 a.m., police were asked to check on a woman sleeping in her vehicle at the Pierce County Fairgrounds (364 N. Maple St.) She appeared to be homeless; she was advised she needed to leave.
Officers assisted EMS with a medical call at 8:33 a.m. at Ellsworth High School (323 W. Hillcrest St.)
At 3:40 p.m., police took a call about an asphalt company that used 9 gallons of diesel fuel to wash out the back of their truck at Cenex (610 E. Main St.) Officers obtained video and sent it to the DNR for further investigation.
At 4:01 p.m., a child reportedly became upset and ran away from Ellsworth Elementary School (445 S. Piety St.) When officers arrived, the child was walking with his mother and went home with her.
At 8:47 p.m., a resident at 170 S. Grant St. reported water pooling up in his yard, possibly due to construction next door. Officers sent a message to the construction company’s project manager.
Tuesday, June 3
At 6:42 a.m., police were dispatched to a deer stuck in the railing behind 324 W. Main St. Thanks to public works staff and community members’ help, the deer was set free.
At 11:26 a.m., police assisted with a vehicle stuck in a driveway and partially in the roadway at 184 E. Main St.
Police responded to a juvenile medical call at 12:20 p.m. in the 500 block of North Maple Street. A juvenile was having a bad reaction to THC. EMS transported him to a hospital.
Officers were dispatched at 12:52 p.m. to a home in the 100 block of Evergreen Estates Street for a missing juvenile who left without permission. She was found at her adult sister’s home.
Wednesday, June 4
Police conducted a welfare check at 6:32 a.m. at 470 S. Maple St. A woman had overslept and not gone to work.
Officers assisted EMS at a medical call at 12:13 p.m. at 183 S. Grant St.
At 1:32 p.m., a caller at 559 W. Kinne St. reported his vehicle windshield had been damaged, possibly by a BB that caused a large crack to appear. The incident occurred sometime between 6 p.m. May 26 and 7:30 a.m. May 30.
A theft was reported at 4:39 p.m. at 103 N. Northview St.
Officers assisted EMS at 8:55 p.m. at 454 High Point Drive.
Thursday, June 5
Nixon Javier Parra Bracho, 21, Lake Elmo, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 12:44 a.m. at Industrial Road and Maple Street.
Officers assisted county deputies with a 911 call at 7:20 p.m. at W6094 Highway 10.
Police conducted a welfare check at 9:41 p.m. at 130 S. Maple St. The person was fine.
At 11:35 p.m., BP (101 N. Maple St.) reported a local man acting suspicious while coming in and out throughout the day and following staff home at night. They requested extra patrol, especially in the late night hours.
Friday, June 6
Police responded to a crash between two semis at 12:24 a.m. in the Cenex parking lot (610 E. Main St.) The drivers were Austin Douglas Getzel, 46, Prior Lake, Minn., and Johnny Alden Robertson, 76, Wagoner, Okla.
At 11:31 a.m., a resident at 623 South St. reported receiving a phone call from someone alleging to be from the Border Patrol. It was deemed a scam call.
At 1:47 p.m., Ellsworth Public Library (388 W. Main St.) reported damaged furniture in the teen room. They believe it happened Wednesday after school.
At 2:12 p.m., a caller reported seeing a pet rabbit at the construction site at Grant and Woodworth streets. It wasn’t located.
At 3:39 p.m., a resident at 481 S. Broadway St. reported theft from his bank account by an ex-girlfriend. The account is linked to CashApp, which they both use. He was advised it’s a civil issue.
Police received an anonymous noise complaint at 10:59 p.m. at 173 S. Grant St. The residents were in the garage, but no unreasonable noise was heard. They received a warning after the second complaint.
Saturday, June 7
Officers assisted county deputies at 1:47 a.m. at N5651 450th
Officers assisted EMS with a possible stroke at 7:35 a.m. at 328 S. Piety St.
Police received a complaint of a man causing a disturbance in a store at 8:34 a.m. at 181 E. Main St. Scott Allen Walker, 58, Ellsworth, was cited for disorderly conduct.
Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at 10:24 a.m. at 610 E. Main St. between Michael Carl Antanitis, 54, Ellsworth, and Hazel Jocelyn Schmidt, 18, River Falls. Antanitis was cited for operating motor vehicle without insurance.
A juvenile runaway was reported at 7:24 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of West Main Street. They returned home.
Sunday, June 8
Suspicious activity was reported at 2:54 a.m. at 838 N. Grant St. The person in question was the property owner.
At 11:48 a.m., a caller reported being nipped by a dog while delivering packages at Grant and Charlotte streets. He spoke to the owner and the bite didn’t break skin.
