Ellsworth Police Department reports: June 30-July 6, 2025

The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department June 30 through July 6.
Monday, June 30
Police checked on a suspicious vehicle parked at 2:19 a.m. at 157 E. Main St. The vehicle was unoccupied and the building locked.
Police responded at 8:43 a.m. to Ellsworth Elementary School (445 S. Piety St.)
Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at 10:58 a.m. at Maple and Kinne streets between Barbara Louise Furlow, 68, Rochester, Minn., and Kaitlyn Nicole Buss, 26, Ellsworth. Furlow was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
Police assisted EMS at 3:27 p.m. at 454 High Point Drive.
Tuesday, July 1
Officers responded to an animal complaint at 7:29 a.m. at 373 W. Spruce St.
Police conducted a welfare check at 6:11 p.m. at 501 W. Lucas Lane.
Officers were notified of a stray dog at 8:13 p.m. at 101 N. Maple St. The dog fled before officers arrived.
Wednesday, July 2
Officers assisted Pierce County deputies with a medical at 6:48 a.m. at N5470 760th
Police conducted a welfare check at 11:03 a.m. at 123 Evergreen Estates St.
A Yellow Lab on the loose was reported at 5:08 p.m. at Wall and Main streets.
Officers assisted EMS at 5:44 p.m. at 134 S. Chestnut St.
Thursday, July 3
Tejay Allen Skordahl, 41, Ellsworth, was arrested for a warrant at 12:34 a.m. at 112 Evergreen Estates St.
Officers assisted Pierce County deputies with an OWI arrest at 3:41 a.m. at Highway 63 and a county road, Hager City.
Nicholas R. Ingli, 37, Ellsworth, was cited for operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance after a traffic stop for unnecessary acceleration. squealing tires and expired registration at 9:51 p.m. at Maple Street and Crosstown Road.
Friday, July 4
Margaret Renee Coronado-Hoyer, 58, Ellsworth, was cited for operating while suspended after a traffic stop at 12:11 a.m. at Maple Street and Midway Avenue. Passenger Jerry Wayne Wilhite, 54, Ellsworth, was arrested for possession of THC.
A suspicious vehicle was reported at 5:42 a.m. at 101 N. Maple St.
Joshua Jason Reeverts, 28, Beldenville, was arrested for a warrant at 10:29 a.m. at 101 N. Maple St.
Maxwell Dennis Langer, 19, Ellsworth, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:57 p.m. on Highway 10.
Saturday, July 5
Donald Larry Lieffring, 43, Ellsworth, was arrested for OWI-fifth, possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 2:32 a.m. at 203 S. Utility St.
At 8:55 p.m., police received a report of juveniles throwing rocks at buildings at 567 N. Maple St. The caller was advised to contact the property manager with her concerns.
Sunday, July 6
Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at 3:19 p.m. at 157 E. Main St. between Nicole M. Brookshaw, 51, Ellsworth, and Deborah Ann Mickelson, 67, Lake City, Minn. Both vehicles were backing out of parking spaces and collided. No injuries were reported.
