The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department March 24-30.
Monday, March 24
An employee tripped a business alarm by accident at 7:57 a.m. at 420 E. Main St.
Police stood by for a meeting at the request of staff at 6:56 p.m. at 323 W. Hillcrest St.
Tuesday, March 25
At 10:37 a.m., a resident at 297 Kruger Lane was advised of the junk vehicle ordinance and given until April 2 to remove a vehicle that hasn’t moved all winter. The vehicle has a flat tire.
At 5:17 p.m., police received an anonymous complaint of people walking through wooded areas and private property near Old West Main and Northview streets.
At 5:41 p.m., a caller reported three juveniles playing in the gazebo at the Pierce County Fairgrounds (364 N. Maple St.) They were concerned about possible damages. The kids were gone when police arrived.
Police were called at 7:28 p.m. to check on a possible intoxicated person at 455 E. Wall St. The subject did not appear to be drunk and named a suspect who probably called on her.
Wednesday, March 26
Police assisted EMS at 5:36 a.m. at 762 W. Dale St.
Police responded along with EMS at 8:23 a.m. to Ellsworth Elementary (445 S. Piety St.) for a student having trouble breathing. The ambulance transported them.
At 1:38 p.m., police received a report of illegal dumping at 899 N. Brown St. Police spoke with a person who was renting a unit and had permission to take lumber. They were lumber back that they didn’t need. The property owner was notified.
At 2:22 p.m., a caller had questions about money given to a church (which was not named). He said the church didn’t have records of what happened to the money.
Reynaldo Tequiliquihua Tepole, 38, Ellsworth, was cited for operate without valid license and operating motor vehicle without insurance after a traffic stop at 6:08 p.m. at Highway 10 and Hill Street.
Thursday, March 27
Police assisted EMS with an arm injury call at 3:42 p.m. at 321 S. Piety St.
Officers were dispatched to a large group of people fighting at 7:30 p.m. at Cairns and Evergreen Estates streets.
Police assisted jail staff with someone being booked into the jail from a Prescott incident at 11:16 p.m.
Friday, March 28
Officers assisted EMS with a medical at 7:28 a.m. at 301 N. Maple St.
At 11:46 a.m., a student at 323 W. Hillcrest St. was cited for possessing a vape.
Police responded at 4:56 p.m. to a home in the 900 block of Southgate Drive for a juvenile who refused to listen to their parents. They were upset about being grounded. The parents allowed them to go to a grandparent’s home for the night.
A resident was warned for leaving a campfire unattended at 8:22 p.m. at 721 E. Campbell St.
Melissa Ann Aldridge, 57, Ellsworth, was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 8:38 p.m. at Maple and Cairns streets.
At 11:03 p.m., a male Husky was located near 540 W. Cairns St. It was placed in the police kennel. The owner was advised to show proof of Red Wing residency and a Red Wing dog license.
Saturday, March 29
At 12:54 p.m., a storm drain cover fell into the drain at Morse and Main streets. Cones were placed around it until public works could replace it.
Sunday, March 30
Police assisted county deputies at 3:32 a.m. at 170th Street and Highway 10, Plum City.
Officers were notified of flooding on the roadway at 8:30 a.m. at 938 Anika Court. Public works was notified.
