Ellsworth Police Department reports: May 19-25, 2025

The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department May 19-25.
Monday, May 19
Police received a drug complaint at 8:46 a.m. at Ellsworth Elementary School (445 S. Piety St.) The incident was passed on to Pierce County Human Services.
A burglary was reported at 12:37 p.m. at 454 High Point Drive. Several items had been removed from an apartment without permission. The caller’s ex-boyfriend returned the items around 3 p.m.
Officers assisted EMS at 2:51 p.m. at Ellsworth High School (323 W. Hillcrest St.)
Tuesday, May 20
Vandalism in the men’s bathroom was reported at 10:05 a.m. at Summit Park (10o W. Grove St.)
A burglary was reported at 4:32 p.m. at 526 Railroad Ave.
At 7:01 p.m., a caller complained of two loose dogs in their yard at 422 W. Warner St. The owner retrieved them before officers arrived.
Police performed a welfare check at 10:37 p.m. at 141 S. Maple St. The resident was having phone issues but was fine.
Wednesday, May 21
Jackson James Merrill Jr., 18, Ellsworth, was cited for parking in a handicapped spot without a permit at 8:47 a.m. at Ellsworth High School.
A welfare check was requested on a resident at 2:06 p.m. at 113 S. Chestnut St. The man was told to call his brother.
Officers assisted EMS at 5:52 p.m. at 258 N. Beulah St.
Thursday, May 22
Police were called at 7:50 a.m. to 455 E. Wall St. where a woman was sleeping in her vehicle. She said she was fine, just fell asleep.
Officers were called at 10:52 a.m. to 454 High Point Drive, where someone was having anxiety after drinking too much. EMS transported the patient.
At 12:59 p.m., a Beagle was reported wandering near 188 Evergreen Estates St. Police could not catch the dog.
At 9:29 p.m., a caller reported someone sitting in the roadway at Beulah Street and Summit Avenue. They were not located.
Officers assisted county deputies with a crash at 10:28 p.m. at County Road C and 490th
Friday, May 23
An employee at 101 N. Maple St. reported a man for possibly stealing from the store at 1:34 a.m. He was trespassed from the property.
At 3:31 a.m., a caller reported seeing lights through the windows at 441 W. Highland Drive. Nothing was found.
At 8:06 p.m., police spoke with someone allegedly looking into vehicles at 445 S. Piety St. The woman said she was looking for rocks and denied looking into vehicles.
Saturday, May 24
At 3 a.m., police received a report of juveniles looking into a vehicle at 246 N. Broadway St. They were not located.
Officers were asked to perform a welfare check at 8:23 a.m. at 235 N. Maple St. Everything was fine.
Officers assisted EMS with a medical at 4:30 p.m. at 140 W. Humble Ave.
Sunday, May 25
Kenyon Andrew Raden, 26, Prescott, was arrested for OWI-first after a traffic stop for speeding and crossing the center line at 1:10 a.m. at Maple and Main streets.
