The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department Oct. 13-19, 2025.

Monday, Oct. 13

  • Police assisted with a property exchange at 9 a.m. at 179 Evergreen Estates St.
  • At 8:43 p.m., a resident at 271 E. Summit Ave. reported voices yelling at him through his AC unit. Police walked through but heard nothing. The caller requested extra patrol.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 14

  • Police responded to a threat complaint at 9:36 a.m. at 422 W. Warner St. A resident reported receiving a threatening text in which the sender promised to knock her teeth down her throat. The suspect said it wasn’t meant to be literal. The complainant blocked the sender.
  • A caller reported a water leak at 1:14 p.m. at 171 Evergreen Estates St. The matter was forwarded to the public works department.
  • School staff reported a student leaving the school at 3:23 p.m. Police found the student, who was defiant and determined to walk home, near Maple Street and High Point Drive. When the mother arrived on scene, the student punched her in the face drawing blood, kicked EMS staff and spit on an officer. EMS transported the juvenile.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 15

  • Police responded at 2 a.m. to 174 Evergreen Estates St. for an unwanted subject. They arrested Winona Rae Wells, 37, Welch, Minn., for felony bail jumping and a warrant.
  • At 3:01 a.m., police heard a man yelling outside of 305 W. Main St. He had bruises all over his face. He was intoxicated, claimed he was never yelling and told officers to leave. Police knocked on the apartment door, which was dead-bolted, but the female resident didn’t answer. He continued to yell at the door; someone let him in after police left.
  • Suspicious activity was reported at 7:50 a.m. near 212 S. Grant St.
  • A theft was reported at 4:56 p.m. at Ellsworth High School (323 W. Hillcrest St.)
  • Police assisted jail staff with an unruly inmate at 8:08 p.m. at 555 W. Overlook Drive.
  • Officers received a harassment complaint at 8:15 p.m. from a person experiencing mental health issues at 271 E. Summit Ave. They drove past as a courtesy but saw nothing.

 

Thursday, Oct. 16

  • Police assisted EMS at 2:18 p.m. at 271 E. Summit Ave.
  • A student was cited for a tobacco vape violation at 2:40 p.m. at Ellsworth High School.
  • At 5:08 p.m., police received a complaint about a loose dog that jumped on the complainant’s back at 655 W. Main St. The dog’s owner, Stephanie Lynn Bickman, 40, Ellsworth, was cited for animal at large.
  • Officers assisted Pierce County with a traffic stop at 10:46 p.m. at Church and Maple streets and stood by while the vehicle was searched.

 

Friday, Oct. 17

  • Police received a harassment complaint at 12:18 a.m. at 271 E. Summit Ave., but saw no one outside the complainant’s apartment. He was advised to contact the property manager.
  • The Pierce County Solid Waste manager reported two people looking through items at 9:40 a.m. at 707 N. Brown St. and wanted them trespassed. Police were attempting to find them.
  • Police responded at 11:56 a.m. to 225 W. Grove St. for an unwanted neighbor who went into a residence without permission. The complainant was at her dining room table when a man came into the residence, telling her she is going to pay. The man told police she struck his truck and trailer and when he knocked on the door, she told him to come in. He was told to stay away from her.
  • Officers assisted EMS at 4:02 p.m. at 258 N. Beulah St.
  • Police were asked to check on a drunk person walking in the road at 4:24 p.m. near Piety and Main streets. It’s unclear if they were located.
  • Officers were dispatched to a rolling domestic at 6:03 p.m. at 191 Evergreen Estates St. Cody Thomas Williams, 30, Ellsworth, was arrested for misdemeanor bail jumping and a warrant. Molly Diane Delander, 29, River Falls, for a contempt of court – disobey order warrant.
  • At 6:19 p.m., a social worker reported being followed by a woman at Family Dollar (181 E. Main St.) When she left the store, the woman followed her, driving past her and screaming at her multiple times while she walked down the street. The suspect was also seen circling the parking lot and writing down license plates. The social worker wanted the incident documented.
  • At 7:56 p.m., police received a report of a woman acting strangely at 157 E. Main St. She left before police arrived.

 

Saturday, Oct. 18

  • Police conducted a welfare check on a woman making concerning statements at 12:18 a.m. at 258 N. Beulah St. The woman was intoxicated from drinking mouthwash. A safety plan was put into place.
  • At 10:55 a.m., police were called to 707 N. Brown St. where a woman was reportedly being aggressive with a child. The woman was trying to pick up her son who had run out of the house.
  • Kristina Marie Krumenauer, 49, Ellsworth, was cited for disorderly conduct after police responded at 12:08 p.m. to 801 E. Main St.
  • A dog bite was reported at 2:31 p.m. at 627 W. Kinne St.
  • Officers assisted Pierce County deputies with a fight at a demo derby at 7:54 p.m. at 364 N. Maple St.
  • At 8:43 p.m., a woman was walking her dog near 156 S. Chestnut St. when another dog ran from a yard and bit her dog. She wanted the incident documented. Her dog didn’t seem injured.
  • At 10:08 p.m., a caller complained of cars revving near Grant and Cairns streets. The noise was coming from the demo derby at the fairgrounds.
  • At 10:44 p.m., a resident at 271 E. Summit Ave. reported his residence being bugged and being electrocuted through his couch.

 

Sunday, Oct. 19

  • A resident from 271 E. Summit Ave. called police at 1:29 a.m. wondering why officers were investigating something in the parking lot. They weren’t. When informed of this, he hung up.
  • Apollo Jay Stroozas, 17, Hudson, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 5:25 p.m. at Industrial Road and Maple Street.
