Ellsworth Police Department reports: Oct. 27-Nov. 2, 2025

The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department Oct. 27 through Nov. 2, 2025.

Monday, Oct. 27

  • Terri Lee Casello, 33, Ellsworth, and Blake Donald Field, 33, Ellsworth, were arrested for felony bail jumping at 1:09 a.m. at 526 Railroad Ave.
  • Officers assisted police with a crash at 8:09 a.m. at N3689 County Road C.
  • At 1:43 p.m., police assisted a woman in retrieving personal belongings and a cat at 540 W. Cairns St.
  • Police were called at 2:06 p.m. to Ellsworth Middle School (312 Panther Drive) for a theft.
  • Scott Hamilton Davis, 58, Ellsworth, was arrested at 3:18 p.m. at 310 W. Main St. for a probation violation and transported to Pierce County Jail.
  • Police were dispatched at 8:52 p.m. to 160 Evergreen Estates St. for a possible probation violation. They were unable to make contact with anyone.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 28

  • At 7:36 a.m., a resident at 163 W. Warner St. reported receiving harassing text messages from a man against whom a no contact injunction is in place.
  • Police responded at 12:04 p.m. to Ellsworth Middle School for a THC vape issue.
  • At 1 p.m., a resident at 278 W. Summit Ave., reported their dog ran off with their pain meds.
  • At 1:13 p.m., officers were dispatched to 305 W. Main St. to try to identify a man suspected in trespassing at the Pierce County Recycling Center. While trying to ID him, the man fled. Police learned he may have a federal warrant out for his arrest.
  • At 6:30 p.m., a homeowner at 369 W. Overlook Drive was given 10 days to license her dog or a citation will be issued.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 29

Police conducted a welfare check at 3:30 p.m. at 511 Vincent Lane. A safety plan was put into place.

 

Thursday, Oct. 30

  • Suspicious activity was reported at 11:48 a.m. at Pierce County Courthouse (414 W. Main St.)
  • Bryton Leonard Gunderson, 24, Ellsworth, was cited for having an unregistered truck on the roadway and an unregistered jet ski at 202 S. Grant St.
  • At 6:12 p.m., a resident at 217 ½ S. Piety St. reported concerns with the construction on Piety. She has no access to her driveway and worried about emergency services being able to reach her if needed. She believes her rights are being violated. She was advised to contact the village with her concerns.

Friday, Oct. 31

  • Police were dispatched to a medical at 9:45 a.m. at 478 E. Wall St. EMS transported the patient to River Falls Area Hospital.
  • Officers attempted a warrant arrest at 4:51 p.m. at 370 W. Main St. The occupant inside denied seeing the suspect for weeks and wouldn’t let police into her apartment to look.
  • Police assisted EMS at 5:35 p.m. at 301 N. Maple St.
  • Cristian Fabian Jimenez, 27, Hammond, was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 9:48 p.m. at Main and Pond streets.

Saturday, Nov. 1

  • Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle at 2:59 a.m. at 157 E. Main St. It was unoccupied.
  • A vehicle got stuck in the mud at 3:04 a.m. at Piety and Strickland streets.
  • Officers responded to a custody dispute at 7:05 a.m. at Main and Wall streets. The mother refused to turn the child over to the father without proof that he had the child’s medication prescription.
  • Public works was notified of a leak in the basement at 4:11 p.m. at 441 W. Hillcrest St. Shutting off their own water didn’t help the situation, so they wanted the village to shut off the water.
  • Alex Scott Knight, 17, Ellsworth, was cited for parking in a handicapped zone at 5:22 p.m. at 161 W. Main St.
  • Matthew John Triemert, 53, Stillwater, Minn., was cited for operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance after a traffic stop for driving without taillights activated at 7:09 p.m. at Main and Plum streets.

Sunday, Nov. 2

  • Police conducted a welfare check at 9:04 a.m. at 222 Broadway St. The person showed no signs of distress.
  • A caller reported hearing three gunshots at 4:40 p.m. near 175 S. Utility St. Nothing suspicious was located.
  • A caller reported seeing a door open at 5:34 p.m. at 240 Panther Drive all day. The homeowner reported no one was supposed to be home. Police cleared the residence.
