To the editor,
Local Republicans – Jan. 6, 2021 – not one peep from our locals Zimmerman or Petryk. They should have been the first to condemn the attempted takeover of our voting system and forcible entry into the very halls of our Democratic system of government. So it seems they approved of the violence which resulted in good people dying to protect ungrateful, power-hungry jack asses like Pence.
So where were you, great Patriots? Petryk sends out his circular touting his accomplishments. Zimmerman wants to make it more difficult for more people to go to the polls.
They all seem to be in the pockets of the new GOP. Gutless followers of Donald Trump, just riding along and voting to re-elect a traitorous liar to keep their own jobs.
Maybe I am stupid for trying to get this point across, but I am an old man now, not much time left for me – 95 in about three months with a 10th grade education, but I am on the bottom edge of the Greatest Generation and do not know any better.
