To the editor:
The great Thomas Sowell once said, “It doesn’t matter how smart you are, unless you stop and think.”

Democrats are endorsing the individuals running as Democratic Socialists of
America. They have been welcomed under the Demo­crat tent. Elizabeth Warren once endorsed Graham Platner and referred to him as her “kind of man.” A man who has a tattoo on his chest resembling a Nazi Totenkopf. They dropped him when his polls fell but not until then.

Then there is AOC and Bernie Sanders campaigning Abdul El Sayed. Also cam­paigning with them is Hasan Piker, who said we deserved 9/11. Welcome to the Demo­crat tent.

Most important is the DSA platform. Google it! You can start thinking any­time.

1. Public ownership and democratic controls of major industries, essential services and utilities.
2. Implement 32­-hour work week with full pay and benefits.
3. Enact aggressive wealth and corporate taxes while cancelling all student
   and medical debt.
4. Building public social housing, establishing universal rent control and canceling rent debt.
5. Provide free public education from pre-­K through college alongside universal daycare.
6. Replace constitutional framework with multi­-party democracy. Abolish the U.S. Senate and Electoral College, replacing the presidency/Supreme Court.
7. Extend voting rights to all permanent U.S. residents – not citizens – and people with criminal convictions.
8. Defund the police, police departments and prisons. This one should make you feel safe when sleeping at night!
9. Abolish ICE and support OPEN BORDERS/AMNESTY.

There are many more. The demolition crew is hard at work. The goal is to destroy western civilization. You no longer have a democratic party but more of a socialist party. The old Democrat party is gone.

Alan Dershowitz, a Democrat for 67 years, has become a “reluctant Republican.” He has written a book, “Why I Quit the Dems: And So Should You.” He feels they are dangerous.
