To the editor,
To the members of the River Falls Homeless Alliance, it was so heartwarming to hear that there are over 65 members in your organization. I find it admirable that you desire for the city to treat the homeless population better. Seeing as your group is a large one, some would say larger than most companies in the county, action can be taken immediately to remedy issues of the unhoused.
I am not a member as I do not have the capacity to support. Seeing as you all may have resources to help, I encourage you to take these people into your homes. Clean out a spare room or a garage, and change their life. The city will simply take too long and not maintain the same standard of help that your organization might advocate. Hopefully Dana Linscott, if you see this letter, you take the lead in making the change you advocate others to do.
