To the editor,
Robert Britton in the Feb. 19 issue of the Pierce County Journal, in a letter, criticizes Democrats for donating $3 million to the candidacy of Susan Crawford for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Citing, in one instance, that the Democrats are “buying” (his word) individuals.
Sadly, he seems to forget the documented $277,000,000 Elon Musk spent on Donald Trump and now the millions Musk and his group are pouring into the Wisconsin Supreme Court election. Mr. Britton wants to have it both ways: criticize the opposition for its spending and conveniently “forgetting" the hundreds of millions Musk is spending.
