To the editor,
Apologies to the editor and readers of the letters to the editor. In a letter I posted recently it was stated that President Biden faced a 9% unemployment rate when he took office. That is not correct. It was 6.7%. The mistake was found too late to make the correction before the letter went to press. The Bureau of Labor Statistics lists historical unemployment rates and the 9% rate was actually in 2009 when Obama became president. Again, sorry for the misinformation.
