To the editor,
On behalf of the Ellsworth American Legion Auxiliary, I want to thank the Ellsworth community for supporting the Ellsworth American Legion Auxiliary. On May 22 and 23 and various other days as we distributed poppies in the village and surrounding area, YOU generously contributed to assist veterans and their families. Three quarters of the funds raised through poppy distribution will be used for veterans and their families in this community and the remainder supports veteran hospitals and homes. The total amount raised was awesome!
We also want to thank you for supporting our fundraiser at Nilssen’s food stand. We will be able to assist community projects because of your care and encouragement.
Thank you for your generosity and support of veterans in our community!
