Letter to the editor: Kretzmann has my vote

Posted

The Pierce County Board of Supervisors election is coming up Tuesday, April 2 and I wanted to reach out to my community and encourage all to get out and vote. Each of us has a voice and we deserve to be heard.

I am choosing to support Martin Kretzmann for Pierce County District 8 and I’d like to share why. When we elect a county supervisor it is like choosing a captain for a team. You entrust this person to do many things including but not limited to: lead, communicate, be morally and fiscally responsible as well as cooperate with other board supervisors as part of the team.

I am voting for Martin Kretzmann for Pierce County District 8 Supervisor because he fulfills these requirements, he will go above and beyond to ensure everyone on the “team” is heard and represented.

It is time we elect supervisors that are willing to have hard conversations in a respectable manner and not shut someone out who has a different opinion or idea. Martin has been actively engaged in our community since moving to River Falls. He isn’t afraid to stand up and be a leader and is the type of person that everyone wants on his or her team. I admire that he always gives 100% of himself and have seen first-hand that everything Martin participates in, he makes better.

So if like me, you want someone to lead while also being an all-star teammate who will have your back, vote for Martin Kretzmann for District 8 Pierce County Board!
