To the editor,
I am writing to encourage River Falls voters to cast their ballot for Patricia LaRue for the at-large seat on the City Council. I have known Patty since she moved here when we were in junior high school. I have always found her to be a compassionate, caring, level-headed, independent thinking person and I feel that she would be an outstanding addition to the River Falls City Council. Her diligence, positive attitude, work ethic and voice of reason would be most welcomed.
Patty has been very active in public service in our community, currently serving the Chair of the River Falls Parks & Recreation Board, Commissioner on the River Falls Planning Commission, an Election Inspector, and she sits on the steering committee for the RF Comprehensive Plan. Her integrity and transparency are second to none. I'm sure she will put in the work necessary to research issues and determine the best logical solution for the good of our community rather than "rubber stamp" anything that is proposed.
Please join me in voting for Patricia LaRue for City Council next Tuesday!
