To the editor,
Concerning your article of Nov. 15 titled “Hove discrimination lawsuit against county dismissed” with a sub-title “Allegations against Holst, Aubart called flimsy.”
In reading the long article there were quotes and comments from all those involved except for the plaintiff, Nancy Hove and the plaintiff attorney. Wouldn’t journalistic structure need the full and complete reporting of all facets of the story not just one sided?
Also, your article quoted Judge Crocker that the county failed to offer any legal sound reason why the emergency dispatch was removed from the Sheriff Department and transferred to Emergency Management. Neither Holst, Aubart or any county board member were interviewed or provided comment concerning this issue, it was just left hanging.
As a resident of Pierce County there are many unanswered questions concerning the lawsuit and the County Boards actions – a follow-up article would appear to be needed and would be appreciated.
