Letter to the editor: Our 250th birthday

Posted

To the editor,

We and the rest of the civilized world are so thankful that America was born 250 years ago. America has done more for the world than all the other nations combined.
No other nation is as welcoming to legal immigrants as America. E pluribus unum is the concept that makes America the greatest country in the world by far.
Celebrating our 250th birthday should be a priority for every American. Please celebrate America in any way you can whether it is a neighborhood potluck or a community Flag Day gathering/celebration.
I would caution you to be wary of some random Karen pajama girl from Hudson who wants you to think that MAGA has something to do with the history of America. Spoiler alert, it doesn’t.
MAGA has nothing to do with American history prior to 2008.
What MAGA means is the ideology that it is better to destroy the world’s number one sponsor of terrorism instead of gifting them billions of dollars so they can bankroll Hamas and Hezbollah.
MAGA means it is far better to have a secure border instead of a wide open one that enabled criminal illegals to kill Laken Riley, Rachel Morin, Jocelyn Nungaray, Amber Paris, Kayla Hamilton and  Sheridan Gorman.
MAGA means honoring girls and women so they can compete in sports and share their locker rooms and showers with only other biological women.
MAGA means siding with the 80 percent of Americans who want nationwide voter ID.
MAGA means following the advice of Cicero who said it is a mistake worry about things that cannot be changed or corrected. This means that people should stop worrying about climate change since only God can control the weather. Climate change has been happening since the beginning of time and the world keeps rolling along.
So while you are celebrating our great nation this summer you might want to say thank you to the people who love America with a passion.
