Letter to the editor: Poem expressing anxiety

Posted

To the editor,

“Lies twist and turn for gain,
Commitments shattered, steeped in pain.
The helpless bare the heavy blame,
While greed plays its ruthless game.

Allies lost in shadowed night,
Tyrants feast in broad daylight.
Chaos spreads its foul embrace,
A world undone—a fall from grace.

Rise, resist, let truth be told,
Dump the darkness, dare to be bold!”
