To the editor,
Did you know we have a very important state-wide vote happening on Aug. 13?
Aug. 13 is the Primary Election! On your ballot you will see two referendum questions regarding Wisconsin state spending.
We strongly encourage a YES vote on Referendum Questions 1 and 2.
Voting yes on these very important referendums allows for oversight by the Wisconsin State Legislature over the governor’s spending of federal money. This allows the Legislature to stop wasteful spending.
Voting YES on Questions 1 and 2 places the power back into the hands of voters and their elected representatives.
Voting YES on Questions 1 and 2 protects our taxpayer dollars from being wasted by Madison.
The governor has exploited the loopholes in the current system to send millions of taxpayer dollars to radical left-wing organizations like Planned Parenthood without the permission of the state legislature. Voting YES on Questions 1 and 2 will put an end to reckless spending.
The Vote No campaign is backed by the Wisconsin Conservation Voters which is aligned with the League of Conservation Voters, a leftist environmentalist group that has endorsed the extremist Green New Deal and pledged $1 billion of support to Joe Biden's reelection campaign.
Vote YES to protect our hard earned tax dollars!
