To the editor,

We are disgusted and tired of untruths in previous weeks’ letters that are simply “anti-Trump.” They try to tell everyone Elon Musk is “running the country” and Trump is dismantling the Constitution without giving truthful examples. President Trump is lawfully submitting executive orders. The liberals applauded Biden’s executive orders. DOGE is necessary to audit federal agencies since most of these agencies do NOT submit their required audits and Biden did NOT require that they do.  By the way, neither Musk nor Trump are taking a salary for their efforts. Whereas Biden and every other Democrat have gladly taken salaries.

Here are just SOME of President Trump’s accomplishments as of 2-14-25 (JUST 3.5 WEEKS AFTER TAKING OFFICE):

• President Trump has restored a 25% tariff on steel imports and raised the tariff to 25% on aluminum imports which will support the American steel industry and Aluminum Association and Union workers.
• President Trump is NEGOTIATING with both Putin and Zelensky (and is in fact speaking with Zelensky in the White House today) in the pursuit of securing peace between Russian and the Ukraine. Biden never did.
• President Trump hosted Jordan’s King Abdullah II, who announced Jordan will accept 2,000 Palestinian children from Gaza as quickly as possible.
• The Dept. of Energy has approved the first liquefied natural gas project since the prior administration banned LNG last year.
• President Trump has gotten Hamas to agree to free additional Israeli hostages.
• Taiwan has pledged to boost its investment in the U.S.
• Illegal border crossings have hit lows not seen in decades and illegal aliens have started turning around in droves.
• Hundreds of illegal aliens from Venezuela were repatriated back to their own country on Venezuelan owned planes.
• Tens of millions of dollars being paid by rogue FEMA officials to house illegal aliens in luxury New York hotels has been stopped by the Department of Homeland Security.
• President Trump signed an executive order barring COVID-19 vaccine mandates in schools that receive federal funding.
• President Trump established the Make America Healthy Again Commission, which redirects the national focus to promoting health, not just treating disease.
• President Trump is eliminating inefficiency of federal workers (which is a taxpayer expense).
• President Trump has ordered the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to halt operations—because it funneled cash to left-wing advocacy groups.
• President Trump ended the wasteful Federal Executive Institute, which had become a training ground for bureaucrats.
• President Trump ordered the immediate dismissal of the Board of Visitors for the Army, Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard which infiltrated U.S. service academies with years of woke ideologies.
• President Trump instructed the EPA Administrator to end Biden-era regulations restricting water flow and mandating inadequate light bulb standards.
• The Dept. of Justice filed suit against the State of New York over their willful failure to follow federal immigration law.
• The EPA canceled tens of millions of dollars in contracts to left-wing advocacy groups and will investigate a scheme by Biden EPA staffers to shield billions of dollars from oversight and accountability.
• The Dept. of Education will investigate certain states for violation of Title 9 federal anti-discrimination law by allowing men to compete in women’s sports.
• President Trump issued an executive order calling for the declassification of JFK assassination documents leading to the FBI discovering an additional 2,400 records on the assassination of President JFK.
• The Dept. of Veterans Affairs implemented a new flag policy to promote the prominence of the American flag.
• President Trump issued an executive order ending sex change surgeries for minors.
• President Trump issued an executive order reining in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs because DEI is discriminatory.
