SPRING VALLEY – The Spring Valley Stagehands Community Theatre will be pre- senting its 2022 Children's Theatre produc tion of MISS NELSON IS MISSING! adapt- ed by Jeurey Hatcher at 7 p.m. Oct. 21 and at 2 p.m. Oct. 22 and 23. Based on a popular elementary book by Harry Allard, the story is the classic, hilarious story of a misbehaving class, their sweet teacher, and the legendary substitute teacher who restores order in their chaotic classroom. Miss Nelson’s class always acts up – especially when their teacher is absent from school!
All the cast members are in elementary, middle, or high school. They include: Nolan Connors (second grade), Grivn Stein (fourth grade), Carter Connors (fifth grade), Frankie Hudson (fifth grade), Max Rozowski (sixth grade), Gwen Turner (sixth grade), Shelby Kerg (eighth grade), Harper DuMond (10
th grade), and Dani Ramirez (10
th grade). It’s a busy and diverse group who share some
favorite interests. Top of the list is “sports, sports, sports!” Almost all are involved in some sport; whether that is basketball, flag football, soccer, fishing, hunting, track, volleyball, softball, riding scooter/bike, or dance. Several claimed art as another favorite activity. And now they can add acting as something else that is fun to do.
For many of the cast members, this is their very first stage production. They are busy learning lines, learning where to stand, how to "act" like their character, and what the daz –
zle of the stage lights does to their vision! This show is appropriate for all ages and has a duration of about one hour. Tickets are available online at www.svstagehands.org or at the door. Be sure to visit our website for information and ticket reservations or follow us on Facebook at The Spring Valley Stagehands.
