James Michael Chapman, 33, Prescott, posted a $3,000 signature bond Aug. 18 on felony false imprisonment, felony strangulation and suffocation and disorderly conduct charges. A status conference is set for 9:45 a.m. Sept. 23.
Dorian Marcus Cross, 52, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond Aug. 15 on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge. A status conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 8.
Lee David Gilderhus, 34, Hudson, was ordered to pay $1,500 cash bond Aug. 14 on felony second-degree sexual assault/unconscious victim (domestic abuse), felony intimidate victim/domestic abuse crime, and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges. A status conference is set for 9 a.m. Aug. 26.
Victor Alfonso Gualan Contento, 41, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond Aug. 18 on two operating while revoked (alcohol related) charges. A status conference is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Dec. 17.
John Allen Hanson, 48, Wilson, pleaded not guilty and posted a $2,500 signature bond Aug. 18 on a violate/harassment restraining order – injunction charge. A status conference is scheduled for 9 a.m. Sept. 30.
Charles McNeil Manteufel, 41, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond Aug. 18 on a disorderly conduct charge. A status conference is set for 9:30 a.m. Aug. 29.
Alex James Stephen Arntson, 27, Hastings, Minn., pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a possession of cocaine/coca charge Aug. 14. The charge stemmed from an Oct. 3 incident.
Sean Turcotte Kazmierczak, 54, Prescott, pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a disorderly conduct charge Aug. 15. The charge resulted from a June 25, 2024 incident.
Alexiss Kay Peterson, 28, Elk Mound, pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement Aug. 14 on a carrying a concealed weapon charge. Possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from an Aug. 14 incident.
Luis Abelardo Chalan Seraquive, 28, River Falls, was convicted of operating while revoked (alcohol related) Aug. 13 and fined $443. The charge stemmed from a Dec. 20, 2024 incident.
A possess drug paraphernalia charge against Joseph Lee Cook, 32, Red Wing, Minn., was dismissed Aug. 18. The charge resulted from an Oct. 8 incident.
Antonio Rafael Hernandez Chavez, 27, St. Paul, was convicted of operate without carrying a license and fined $277.80 Aug. 13. The charge stemmed from a July 14, 2024 incident.
Alexiss Kay Peterson, 28, Elk Mound, was convicted of possess marijuana and fined $277.80 Aug. 14. A misdemeanor bail jumping charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from a Jan. 1 incident.
James Douglas Relander, 25, River Falls, was convicted of felony aggravated battery – intend bodily harm (repeater) Aug. 14, sentenced to three years’ probation, fined $518, ordered to pay $470.42 in restitution and ordered to undergo anger management programming. A disorderly conduct (repeater – domestic abuse, infliction of pain or injury) charge and felony take and drive vehicle without consent (repeater) charges were read in but dismissed. At an Aug. 15 probation revocation hearing, Relander was sentenced to 186 days in jail (time served) related to a felony manufacture/deliver cocaine (as party to a crime) charge. The charges stemmed from incidents Dec. 17, 2022 and Feb. 9.
A possession of cocaine/coca charge against Taylor M. Reuther, 28, River Falls, was dismissed Aug. 13 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge resulted from a Dec. 28, 2023 incident.
A possession of THC charge against Madeline Grace Wood, 22, River Falls, was dismissed Aug. 14 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from a July 23, 2024 incident.
