Nicholas David Anderson, 41, Hastings, Minn., pleaded not guilty and was ordered to pay $200 cash bond Feb. 3 on an operate without valid license (second within three years) charge. A status conference is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. March 17.

Nathaniel S. Barnett, 26, Ellsworth, paid a $500 cash bond Jan. 31 on 31 felony possession of child pornography (lifetime supervision of serious sex offenders), felony possess with intent – THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A status conference is set for 2 p.m. March 5.

Benjamin Adam Bergh, 44, Hager City, posted a $25,000 signature bond Jan. 30 on two felony child abuse – intentionally cause harm charges. A status conference is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. March 19.

Ashley Mary Craver, 38, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond Feb. 3 on an operate without valid license (third within three years) charge. A status conference is set for 1:15 p.m. April 7.

Jose Miguel Hernandez Gomez, 24, St. Paul, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond Feb. 3 on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A status conference is set for 11 a.m. March 5.

Johnathon Anthony Hruska, 34, River Falls, posted a $10,000 signature bond Feb. 3 on felony vehicle operator flee/elude officer and criminal damage to property (repeater) charges. A status conference is slated for 2:45 p.m. March 17.

Eddy Fernando Sauca Chalan, 22, Baldwin, pleaded not guilty and posted a $300 signature bond Feb. 3 on an operate without valid license (second within three years) charge. A status conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. July 23.

Joshua David Swanson, 33, Clayton, was ordered to pay $500 cash bond Jan. 30 on felony first-degree recklessly endangering safety (use of a dangerous weapon, domestic abuse – threat), felony strangulation and suffocation (domestic abuse), battery (domestic abuse – infliction of pain or injury), intentionally point firearm at person (domestic abuse – threat), and disorderly conduct (use of a dangerous weapon and domestic abuse) charges. A preliminary hearing is set for 10:30 a.m. Feb. 25.

Tony Earl Tri, 47, Red Wing, Minn., pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond Feb. 3 on an operate without valid license (third within three years) charge. A status conference is slated for 2:15 p.m. March 10.

Closed cases

Christie Ann Berg, 43, River Falls, was convicted of disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer Jan. 29 and fined $886. A felony possession of methamphetamine charge was dismissed. The charges stemmed from a Dec. 1, 2023 incident.

Darcee R. Dimmen, 56, Forest Lake, Minn., was convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine (repeater) Feb. 3, sentenced to three years of probation and fined $518. Felony possession of THC – second+ offense (repeater), possess drug paraphernalia (repeater) and operate without valid license (third within three years – repeater) charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from a July 13 incident.

Jayson Richard Foster, 44, New Brighton, Minn., was convicted of resisting/failing to stop Feb. 3 and fined $443. The charge stemmed from an Aug. 17 incident.

Justin Lee Green, 44, River Falls, was convicted of misdemeanor bail jumping, possess drug paraphernalia, and OWI-third Feb. 3, fined $3,008, sentenced to two years of probation and 14 day in jail and ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and install an ignition interlock device system after a 30-month driver’s license revocation. Ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install/violate court order, possession of THC, criminal damage to property and operating with PAC-third charges are dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Jan. 1, 2022 and March 3, 2023.

Resisting or obstructing an officer, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct charges against Casey Jeffrey Heitzmann, 37, Hudson, were dismissed Feb. 3. The charges stemmed from an Aug. 24 incident.

Isaac D. Phillips, 26, Durand, was sentenced to one year of jail Feb. 3 upon probation revocation. Phillips had been convicted of criminal trespass to dwelling and two felony resist officer – substantial body harm/soft tissue injury charges April 27, 2021 and sentenced to probation. The charges resulted from an Oct. 19, 2019 incident.

An operate without valid license (third within three years) charge against Jorge Luis Sarango Gonzalez, 26, Hudson, was dismissed Jan. 30. The charge stemmed from a Feb. 29, 2024 incident.
