Jordan Isaiah Battin, 28, River Falls, posted a $2,500 signature bond Jan. 5 on felony bail jumping and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A status conference is set for 3:30 p.m. Jan. 13.

Sophia K. Kuss, 18, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond Jan. 2 on criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges. A status conference is set for 4 p.m. Jan. 27.

Juan Carlos Mendivil-Nunez, 30, Red Wing, Minn., pleaded not guilty and was ordered to pay $500 cash bond Jan. 5 on misdemeanor bail jumping, possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A status conference is slated for 2:30 p.m. Feb. 9.

Amy J. Okrutny, 46, Ellsworth, posted a $1,000 signature bond Jan. 2 on felony possession of methamphetamine (repeater) and possess drug paraphernalia (repeater) charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. Jan. 27.

Thomas Robert Cody O’Shea, 37, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond Jan. 6 on an operate without valid license (second within three years) charge. A status conference is slated for 2:30 p.m. Feb. 10.

Peter Jacob Roses III, 41, River Falls, was ordered to pay $2,000 cash bond Jan. 2 on felony child abuse – intentionally cause harm, battery (domestic abuse), criminal damage to property (domestic abuse), disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and resisting or obstructing an officer charges. A preliminary hearing is set for 11:30 a.m. Jan. 9.

Craig Lawrence Wood, 74, Minneapolis, pleaded not guilty and posted a $2,500 signature bond on battery and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges Jan. 5. A status conference is scheduled for 2 p.m. Feb. 9.

Closed cases

Annita Elaine Cripe, 35, Maiden Rock, was convicted of battery Jan. 5, sentenced to one year’s probation and fined $443. The charge stemmed from a Dec. 15, 2024 incident.

Austin Tyler Drewes Ibarra, 27, Inver Grove Heights, Minn., was convicted of battery (domestic abuse) Jan. 5, sentenced to one year’s probation and fined $543. A disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from a July 19 incident.

A deferred judgment of conviction agreement for Jessie Lee Kittelson, 22, Bay City, on a battery charge was revoked Nov. 19. She was sentenced to one year’s probation and fined $443 Jan. 5. The charge resulted from a June 21, 2024 incident.

Morgan Ann Moreno, 33, Somerset, was convicted of OWI-third Jan. 6, sentenced to 75 days in jail (99 days credit), fined $1,869, and ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and install an ignition interlock device after a 27-month driver’s license revocation. Operating while revoked (alcohol related), two misdemeanor bail jumping and two ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install/violate court order charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from incidents April 25 and Sept. 1.

Jack Owen Pedersen, 23, Savage, Minn., was convicted of disorderly conduct and computer message – harass/repeated message Jan. 5, sentenced to one year’s probation and fined $924.50. A felony stalking charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from an Aug. 13, 2024 incident.

Trenton Lain Taylor, 23, Bay City, was convicted of OWI-second Jan. 5, sentenced to 10 days in jail, fined $1,529, and ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and install an ignition interlock device after a 12-month driver’s license revocation. An operating with PAC-second charge was dismissed. The charges stemmed from a Nov. 23, 2023 incident.

Christopher Allen Wren, 41, New Richmond, was convicted of violate foreign protection order (domestic abuse) Jan. 5, sentenced to one year’s probation and fined $543. Disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and battery (domestic abuse) charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from an Aug. 31 incident.
