Quint D. Ashton, 50, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $2,500 signature bond Jan. 13 on a hit and run charge. A status conference is set for 3:45 p.m. Feb. 19.
Cody Michael Bui, 38, Maiden Rock, posted a $10,000 signature bond Jan. 13 on disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and two felony bail jumping charges. A preliminary hearing is slated for 2 p.m. Feb. 6.
Jeffery Alan Carr, 37, Ellsworth, posted a $1,000 signature bond Jan. 13 on felony bail jumping and operating while revoked (alcohol related) charges. A status conference is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. Feb. 12.
Victoria Stephanie Kivel, 27, Lakeland, Minn., pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond Jan. 13 on a resisting or obstructing an officer charge. A status conference is set for 2:15 p.m. Feb. 18.
Jeremy Jay Marek, 50, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond Jan. 8 on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge. A status conference is set for 1:30 p.m. Feb. 12.
Calvin Joseph Meerkins, 40, Hager City, pleaded not guilty and posted a $5,000 signature bond Jan. 8 on receiving or concealing stolen property (as party to a crime) charge. He also pleaded not guilty and posted a $10,000 signature bond on a theft – movable property (as party to a crime) charge and was ordered to have no contact with Scab’s Bar or Muddy Waters in Prescott. In a separate case, he was ordered to pay $500 cash bond Jan. 10 on felony maintain drug trafficking place, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of narcotic drugs, theft – movable property, possession of THC, possession of cocaine/coca, possess amphetamine/LSD/psilocin and possess drug paraphernalia (all with as party to a crime modifiers) charges. A status conference is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. Feb. 12.
Olivia Suzanne Meerkins, 34, Wausau, was ordered to pay $500 cash bond Jan. 8 on felony maintain drug trafficking place, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of narcotic drugs, theft – movable property, possession of THC, possession of cocaine/coca, possess amphetamine/LSD/psilocin, and possess drug paraphernalia (all with as party to a crime modifiers) charges. A preliminary hearing is set for 1:45 p.m. Jan. 23.
A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Rick Lee Plank, 69, Red Wing, Minn., who missed a Jan. 13 initial appearance on a knowingly violate a domestic abuse order – injunction charge.
Marie Ann Poole, 41, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond Jan. 8 on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge. A status conference is set for 1:30 p.m. Feb. 18.
Karen Diane Spence, 47, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond Jan. 13 on an operate without valid (second within three years) charge. A status conference is slated for 9:30 a.m. March 3.
Dei’An Martisse Terry, 20, Red Wing, Minn., posted a $10,000 signature bond Jan. 10 on a felony bail jumping charge. A preliminary hearing is set for 11 a.m. Feb. 11.
Matthew Albert Theye, 40, Rochester, Minn., pleaded not guilty and was ordered to pay $200 cash bond Jan. 13 on possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A status conference is scheduled for 2 p.m. Feb. 18.
Dakota James Julius Ziarnik, 29, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $2,500 signature bond Jan. 8 on disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and intentionally mistreat animals charges. A status conference is slated for 2:15 p.m. Feb. 11.
Riley Milton Flynn, 35, Owatonna, Minn., pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a felony child abuse – intentionally cause harm charge Jan. 9. An intimidate victim/threaten force charge was dismissed. The charges stemmed from a May 17 incident.
Brittney Lynn O’Brien, 36, Menomonie, pleaded guilty and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a felony neglecting a child (no harm and child < 6 years or disability) charge Jan. 10. A felony neglecting a child (no harm and child < 6 years or disability) charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from a Sept. 8, 2023.
Allison M. Amy, 23, River Falls, was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $277.80 Jan. 8. The charge stemmed from an Aug. 6, 2023 incident.
Brady Sand Coulson, 48, Prentice, was convicted of felony OWI-fourth Jan. 8, sentenced to 60 days in jail and fined $1,819. He was also ordered to install an ignition interlock device for two years after a two-year driver’s license revocation. Three felony bail jumping, disorderly conduct, resisting or obstructing an officer, two operating after revocation (alcohol related), and felony operating with PAC-fourth charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Nov. 4, 2021; June 23, 2022; and Dec. 16, 2023.
Dorian M. Cross, 51, River Falls, was convicted of disorderly conduct Jan. 10 and fined $443. The charge stemmed from a June 4 incident.
Zachary David Fabry, 31, River Falls, was convicted of OWI-second Jan. 8, sentenced to 30 days in jail (two days credit), fined $1,806 and ordered to install an ignition interlock device for one year after a 16-month driver’s license revocation. Operating with PAC-second and ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install/violate court order charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from a May 25 incident.
Riley Milton Flynn, 35, Owatonna, Minn., was convicted of knowingly violate a domestic abuse order – injunction and disorderly conduct Jan. 9, sentenced to two years of probation and fined $443. Two posts or publishes private representation without consent and two sending obscene/sexually explicit electronic messages charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from incidents Nov. 29, 2022; Dec. 26, 2022; and Feb. 18, 2023.
Computer message – threaten/injury or harm, disorderly conduct and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges against Brandon James Lawrence, 33, Somerset, were dismissed Jan. 8. The charges resulted from a July 29 incident.
Robby Garett Meyer, 48, Prescott, was convicted of three felony possession of child pornography (lifetime supervision of serious sex offenders) charges Nov. 4 and sentenced Jan. 10 to three years in prison and three years of extended supervision, fined $3,054 and ordered to register as a lifetime sex offender. Eighteen felony possession of child pornography charges were read-in but dismissed. The charges stemmed from an Aug. 8, 2019 incident.
Misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct charges against Shane A. Poole, 40, St. Paul, were dismissed Jan. 10. The charges resulted from incidents March 2 and June 29, 2023.
A felony possess firearm – domestic abuse or child abuse injunction charge against Seth William Swen, 41, Wild Rose, was dismissed Jan. 9 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from a Jan. 20, 2021 incident.
A disorderly conduct charge against Bradley Adam Wright, 41, River Falls, was dismissed Jan. 8 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge resulted from a Sept. 21, 2023 incident in River Falls.
