Gusman Anastacio Quechulpa, 26, Baldwin, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond July 28 on operating while revoked (alcohol related) and ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install/violate court order charges. A status conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. Dec. 17.

Nathaniel S. Barnett, 26, Ellsworth, was ordered to pay $500 cash bond July 28 on 31 felony possession of child pornography, felony possess with intent – THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A status conference is slated for 11:45 a.m. Sept. 11.

Terri Lee Casello, 33, Elmwood, was ordered to pay $100 cash bond July 25 on felony possession of methamphetamine (repeater), felony possession of THC – second+ (repeater) and possess drug paraphernalia (repeater) charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sept. 15.

Charneise L. Covington, 29, Spring Valley, pleaded not guilty and posted a $2,500 signature bond Aug. 4 on OWI-second and operating without PAC-second charges. A status conference is set for 9 a.m. Sept. 23.

Tyeshia Muli Day, 33, St. Paul, was ordered to pay $500 cash bond July 24 on felony possess firearm – convicted of out-of-state felony (repeater) and carry concealed weapon (repeater) charges. A preliminary hearing is slated for 3 p.m. Aug. 27.

Michael D. Erlitz, 30, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond Aug. 4 on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge. A status conference is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. Sept. 16.

Charles Edward Foy, 70, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $5,000 signature bond July 31 on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse). An adjourned initial appearance is slated for 2 p.m. Sept. 4.

Jeffrey William Gassen, 37, Bloomer, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond Aug. 5 on a resisting or obstructing an officer charge. A status conference is set for 2:45 p.m. Sept. 22.

Pierre Maxim Gehlhar, 20, Eagan, Minn., posted a $2,000 signature bond July 28 on a felony vehicle operator flee/elude officer charge. A status conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. Sept. 16.

Kristopher Michael Lindgren, 31, Elmwood, posted a $5,000 signature bond July 25 on a felony child abuse – recklessly cause harm charge. A preliminary hearing is set for 11:30 a.m. Sept. 2.

Adam Robert Lofquist, 50, Ellsworth, posted a $2,000 signature bond July 28 on a felony bail jumping charge. A status conference is slated for 10:15 a.m. Sept. 16.

Logan Peter Melstrom, 24, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond Aug. 4 on an operate firearm while intoxicated charge. A status conference is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Sept. 30.

Shayla Jeanne Parlette, 29, New Richmond, pleaded not guilty and posted a $5,000 signature bond Aug. 4 on OWI-first (with passenger < 16 years old), operating with PAC-first (passenger < 16 years old), possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A status conference is set for 3 p.m. Sept. 22.

Matthew Ray Schumacher, 31, Menomonie, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond Aug. 4 on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A status conference is slated for 3:15 p.m. Sept. 22.

Troy Alan Stumpf, 49, Hager City, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond July 28 on an ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install/violate court order (second+) charge. A status conference is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Sept. 15.

David Wayne Tanner, 39, New Lisbon Correctional, New Lisbon, posted a $1,000 signature bond July 28 on a felony battery by prisoners (repeater) charge. A status conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Sept. 9.

Mark Bryant Thompson, 48, New Richmond, posted a $5,000 signature bond Aug. 4 on felony vehicle operator flee/elude officer, OWI-third and operating while revoked (alcohol related) charges. A status conference is set for 4 p.m. Sept. 3.

Deferred cases

Breanna Jean Overland, 38, Prescott, pleaded guilty to a possess drug paraphernalia charge and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement Aug. 4. A possession of THC charge was dismissed. The charges stemmed from a March 4 incident.

Closed cases

Nicholas David Anderson, 42, Hastings, Minn., was convicted of operate without valid license (second within three years) and fined $267 Aug. 5. The charge resulted from a Dec. 3 incident.

Brandon Cooper Backhaus, 45, River Falls, was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $277.80 July 23. The charge resulted from a Feb. 16 incident.

Virgil L. Bottin, 55, Rosemount, Minn., was convicted of resisting or obstructing an officer Aug. 4 and fined $443. The charge stemmed from a June 27, 2023 incident.

Austin Daniel Cieslak, 28, Ellsworth, was convicted of disorderly conduct July 30 and fined $277.80. The charge resulted from a May 4 incident.

Two neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur) charges against Dustin O. Davis, 40, Red Wing, Minn., were dismissed July 30. The charges stemmed from a March 1, 2023 incident.

Osiel Diaz Hernandez, 23, Maplewood, Minn., was convicted of operate without carrying license and fined $277.80 July 23. The charge stemmed from a Dec. 10 incident.

Wayne Kenneth Evans, 61, Ellsworth, was convicted of felony OWI-fourth, sentenced to 29 days in jail and two years of probation, fined $2,322 and ordered to install an ignition interlock device for three years after a three-year driver’s license revocation July 23. A felony operating with PAC-fourth charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from a July 23, 2024 incident.

Gerardo Arturo Federico, 47, Savannah, Ill., was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia July 30 and fined $277.80. The charge resulted from a June 16 incident.

A possession of controlled substance (as party to a crime) charge against Maran Elisha Frank, 37, Spring Valley, was dismissed Aug. 4. The charge stemmed from an April 1 incident.

Reggie Duane Gilbertson, 49, Hudson, was convicted of operating while revoked (alcohol related) and resisting or obstructing an officer July 24 and fined $886. Four misdemeanor bail jumping, two operating while revoked (alcohol related) and possession of controlled substance charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents July 11, July 20 and Aug. 1, 2024, and March 1, 2025.

Juan Vidal Gudiel Duarte, 42, Green Bay, was convicted of operate without valid license (second within three years) and fined $443 Aug. 4. The charge resulted from a June 2 incident.

Jessica Mary Keller, 34, Ellsworth, was convicted of operate vehicle without consent – passenger July 24 and fined $443. A possess drug paraphernalia charge was read in but dismissed. The charges stemmed from an Oct. 15, 2020 incident.

Donald Paul Kowalsky, 60, Ellsworth, was convicted of misdemeanor bail jumping July 28, sentenced to one year’s probation and fined $443. Misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Nov. 5, Jan. 26 and Feb. 1.

A felony maintain drug trafficking place charge against Marie Raye Laudenbach, 23, Somerset, was dismissed Aug. 1 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from a July 29, 2023 incident.

A disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge against Roxanna Fay Linder, 44, Ellsworth, was dismissed Aug. 5 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge resulted from an April 3, 2024 incident.

Leonard Paul Louden, 64, Cottage Grove, Minn., was convicted of fourth degree sexual assault, sentenced to one year’s probation, fined $443 and ordered to attend a victim empathy seminar July 31. The charge stemmed from an Oct. 20 incident.

Joseph Macon Jr., 46, River Falls, was convicted of theft – movable property March 11 and sentenced to one year’s probation. His probation was revoked and on July 30, he was sentenced to 120 days in jail (with 89 days credit). The charge resulted from an Oct. 15, 2022 incident.

Adrian Martinez Chanes, 36, Ellsworth, was convicted of operate without carrying license and fined $277.80 July 23. The charge resulted from a Nov. 26 incident.

Felony possess GHB, GB, BDO, Ketamine, Flunitraz; possess nitrous oxide – intent to inhale, possession of cocaine/coca and possess drug paraphernalia charges against Addison Raymond Morehouse, 21, Burlington, were dismissed July 25. The charges stemmed from a Dec. 7 incident.

Samantha Anne Ohmann, 33, New Richmond, was convicted of five felony forgery – uttering charges and one county of criminal trespass to dwelling July 23, sentenced to four years of probation, ordered to attend St. Croix County Treatment Court and pay fines and restitution totaling $3,275. She is also barred from entering Circle K, Marathon or Kwik Trip gas stations and Ptacek’s IGA. Theft – movable property, four misdemeanor bail jumping and four felony bail jumping charges were dismissed. A misuse of GPS device – place without consent charge was read in for sentencing purposes but dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Jan. 31, 2024, May 11-14, 2024 and July 11, 2023.

Michael Paul Polzin, 39, River Falls, was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and fined $277.80 Aug. 5. A possession of THC charge was dismissed. The charges stemmed from a June 18 incident.

Andrea K. Prinsen, 41, Wilson, was convicted of issue of worthless checks Nov. 4 and sentenced to one year’s probation. On Aug. 4, she was sentenced to four months in jail (111 days credit) at a probation revocation sentencing hearing. The charge resulted from an April 6, 2024 incident at Red Barn Bar & Grill.

Oliverio Reyes-Morales, 39, Ellsworth, was convicted of disorderly conduct July 28 upon revocation of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement, sentenced to six months of probation, fined $443 and ordered to complete an anger management course. The charge stemmed from an April 13, 2024 incident.

A possession of controlled substance (as party to a crime) charge against Luke Weston Seeling, 35, Spring Valley, was dismissed Aug. 4. The charge stemmed from an April 1 incident.

Cory Ryan Smith, 43, Red Wing, Minn., was convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine (as party to a crime) May 14 and sentenced to three years of probation July 24 and fined $518. Resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of THC charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from an Oct. 23, 2023 incident.

Jordan Timothy Swenson, 22, Cottage Grove, Minn., was convicted of felony strangulation and suffocation (domestic abuse) and disorderly conduct (repeater, domestic abuse) Aug. 5, fined $1,161, ordered to pay $841 in restitution (with 10% surcharge) and ordered to undergo domestic violence programming and a mental health assessment. Two misdemeanor bail jumping (repeater, domestic abuse), battery (repeater, domestic abuse), neglecting a child – specified harm did not occur (repeater), disorderly conduct (repeater, domestic abuse) and contact after domestic abuse arrest (repeater) charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Feb. 15 and 16 in River Falls.

A felony possession of methamphetamine (repeater) charge against Jeffrey Brian Sympson, 44, Red Wing, Minn., was dismissed Aug. 4 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from a March 15, 2023 incident.

Attempt entry into locked coin box (repeater, as party to a crime), misdemeanor bail jumping (repeater), criminal damage to property (repeater, as party to a crime), theft – movable property (as party to a crime, repeater), entry into locked coin box (repeater, as party to a crime) and possess tools/entry into locked coin box (as party to a crime, repeater) charge against William Michael Temme, 58, River Falls, were dismissed July 31. The charges resulted from incidents July 23, 2023 and Aug. 3, 2023 in River Falls.

Jason Allen Young, 47, Beldenville, was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $443 July 23. The charge stemmed from an Oct. 16, 2023 incident.
