Jakob Edward Berg, 31, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $2,000 signature bond June 23 on disorderly conduct, criminal trespass to dwelling and four criminal damage to property charges. A status conference is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. July 24.
Michael Jon Heil, 44, party address sealed by judge, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond June 23 on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A status conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. July 31.
Michael Kenneth Lorentz, 55, Ellsworth, posted a $25,000 signature bond June 19 on felony OWI-fourth and ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install/violate court order charges. A status conference is slated for 8:30 a.m. June 23.
A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Kory Korakanh Phompheng, 49, Brooklyn Park, Minn., who missed a June 23 initial appearance on felony neglecting a child (no harm and child < 6 years or disability), disorderly conduct (domestic abuse), possession of THC (as party to a crime) and possess drug paraphernalia (as party to a crime) charges.
Richard Jeffery Pitman, 21, Bay City, was convicted of operate without carrying a license and fined $277.80 June 23.
Michael Paul Polzin, 39, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $200 signature bond June 19 on possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A final pre-trial conference is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Aug. 4.
Michael James Schiltz, 36, Maple Grove, Minn., pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond June 18 on battery (domestic abuse) and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges. A status conference is set for 3:30 p.m. July 30.
Thomas J. Bauer, 46, address sealed by judge, was convicted of disorderly conduct and misdemeanor bail jumping Dec. 20, 2024, sentenced to one year’s probation and 30 days in jail and fined $886. The misdemeanor bail jumping charge was amended June 17. The charges stemmed from a Sept. 14 incident.
Cody Michael Bui, 38, Ellsworth, was convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine and operate without valid license (second within three years, repeater) June 18, sentenced to two years of probation and fined $886. He had entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on the felony possession of methamphetamine charge, but it was revoked. Disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and three felony bail jumping charges were read in but dismissed. The charged resulted from incidents June 12 and Dec. 27, 2024 and Jan. 12, 2025.
Jose Miguel Guaman Gonzalez, 34, Hudson, was convicted of operate without carrying a license and fined $277.80 June 18. The charge stemmed from an Oct. 27, 2024 incident.
A disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge against Michael Stephen Jorke, 35, Prescott, was dismissed June 18 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge resulted from a Jan. 28, 2024.
Richard Jeffery Pitman, 21, Bay City, was convicted of operate without carrying a license and fined $277.80 June 23. The charge stemmed from an April 7 incident.
Dei’An Martisse Terry, 20, Red Wing, Minn., was convicted of resisting or obstructing an officer June 18, sentenced to one year’s probation, fined $443 and ordered to pay $311 in restitution. Terry also pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a felony strangulation and suffocation charge. A criminal damage to property charge was read in but dismissed. Disorderly conduct and felony bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents April 23, 2024 and Nov. 14
