Elias Anthony Drong, 19, St. Cloud, Minn., pleaded no contest to a disorderly conduct charge May 29 and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge resulted from a Dec. 5 incident.
Kaidan Rai Eckdahl, 19, Ellsworth, pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on a retail theft – intentionally take (as party to a crime) charge May 28. The charge stemmed from an Oct. 21, 2023 incident.
Matthew David Altman, 36, Red Wing, Minn., was convicted of battery (repeater) May 29, sentenced to one year’s probation and fined $443. A disorderly conduct (repeater) charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from a Dec. 22 incident.
Paul Lewis Helton, 51, River Falls, was convicted of misdemeanor bail jumping and two operate without valid license (second within three years) charges, fined $1, 329 and sentenced to 30 days in jail (time served). Five misdemeanor bail jumping, possess drug paraphernalia and two operate without valid license (second within three years) charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from incidents Sept. 11, 2024; Sept. 29, 2024; and Jan. 25, April 4 and April 11.
Timothy Allen Hohmann, 62, Ellsworth, was convicted of disorderly conduct May 28 and fined $443 May 28. Battery (domestic abuse) and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from a March 18, 2024 incident.
A criminal damage to property charge against Carolyn Ann Kirchner, 52, River Falls, was dismissed May 29 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from a Dec. 13, 2023 incident.
Possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges against Angeline Vienna Larson, 29, Crystal, Minn., were dismissed May 28. The charges resulted from a May 12, 2024 incident.
Felony battery or threat to judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer (repeater), resisting or obstructing an officer (repeater), disorderly conduct (repeater, domestic abuse) and possess drug paraphernalia (repeater) charges against Kenneth Arnold Meixner Jr., 34, Ellsworth, who died May 31. The charges resulted from a July 19, 2024 incident.
Andrew Jeffery Rother, 32, Hager City, was convicted of county possess marijuana and fined $277.80 May 27. The charge stemmed from a Nov. 24 incident.
Briana Marie Savola, 35, Hastings, Minn., was convicted of misdemeanor bail jumping and fined $443 May 27. She was convicted of retail theft – intentionally take April 15 upon revocation of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement and sentenced to 30 days in jail (if she doesn’t pay restitution), fined $443 and ordered to pay $106.65 in restitution (plus a 10% surcharge) May 27. Misdemeanor bail jumping, disorderly conduct and two possess drug paraphernalia charges were dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents Sept. 18, 2023; Nov. 13 and Nov. 29.
Corey Douglas Schara, 36, Minneapolis, was convicted of OWI-second June 3, sentenced to 15 days in jail (10 days stayed), fined, $1,529 and ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment. His driver’s license was revoked for 12 months. An operating with PAC-second charge was dismissed. The charges stemmed from a May 15, 2024 incident.
Leticia Schemmel, 25, River Falls, was convicted of operate without carrying license and fined $277.80 May 28. The charge resulted from a Feb. 14 incident.
Hillary Anne Theis, 36, Plum City, was convicted of OWI-second May 27, sentenced to 30 days in jail (20 days stayed), fined, $1,529 and ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and install an ignition interlock device after a 12-month driver’s license revocation. An operating with PAC-second charge was dismissed. The charges stemmed from a Sept. 6, 2024 incident.
Margaret A. Urschel, 23, Maiden Rock, was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $277.80 June 3. The charge resulted from an Aug. 12, 2023 incident.
