Initial appearances

Devon Paul Anway, 22, Red Wing, Minn., pleaded not guilty and posted a $5,000 signature bond May 19 on battery (repeater), resisting or obstructing an officer (repeater) and disorderly conduct (repeater) charges. A status conference is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. July 21.

Paul Steven Clark, 25, Chippewa Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $10,000 signature bond May 22 on a disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) charge. A status conference is set for 11:15 a.m. July 3.

Laban Sembrera Darwing, 24, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond May 19 on an operate without valid license (second within three years) charge. A status conference is slated for 8:30 a.m. Nov. 19.

Travis Joel Holst, 42, Ellsworth, posted a $10,000 signature bond May 16 on felony bail jumping (repeater), operating while revoked (alcohol related, repeater) and ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install/violate court order (repeater) charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. June 3.

Jonathan Juarez Flores, 30, Ellsworth, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond on an operate without valid license (second within three years) charge. A status conference is set for 9 a.m. Nov. 19.

Curtwyn Johnson, 58, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and was ordered to pay $850 cash bond May 19 on OWI-second and operating with PAC-second charges. A status conference is scheduled for 3 p.m. July 21.

Madelyn Grace Kloos, 39, River Falls, posted a $10,000 signature bond May 14 on felony bail jumping, possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A preliminary hearing is set for 11 a.m. May 27.

Nicole Briana Mischler, 31, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond May 19 on OWI-second and operating with PAC-second charges. A status conference is slated for 3:15 p.m. July 21.

Sheena Marie Nelson, 41, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond May 19 on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge. A status conference is set for 2:45 p.m. July 21.

A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Andy William Owens, 45, Zimmerman, Minn., who missed a May 19 initial appearance on an ignition interlock device tampering/failure to install/violate court order charge.

Angel Polivio Paqui Paqui, 38, Hammond, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond May 19 on an operate without valid license (third within three years) charge. A status conference is slated for 9:30 a.m. Nov. 19.

A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Derek Lee Paulson, 40, Boyceville, who missed a May 19 initial appearance on an operating while revoked (alcohol related) charge.

Morgan Ann Rohde, 22, St. Paul, pleaded not guilty and posted a $500 signature bond May 19 on operate without valid license (second within three years) and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A status conference is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. June 11.

Jerry Wayne Wilhite, 54, Ellsworth, posted a $1,000 signature bond May 19 on felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor bail jumping, and possess drug paraphernalia charges. A status conference is set for 1:45 p.m. July 22.

Closed cases

Hunter M. Bjork, 30, Grand Rapids, Minn., was convicted of theft – movable property May 19, fined $443 and ordered to pay $458.93 in restitution. The charge resulted from a June 20 incident.

Luis Miguel Lozano Saca, 30, Minneapolis, was convicted of operate without carrying a license May 19 and fined $277.80. The charge stemmed from a March 6 incident.

A battery charge against Clayton M. Schneider, 42, Red Wing, Minn., was dismissed May 20 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge resulted from an April 24, 2022 incident.

A felony possession of methamphetamine charge against Edward James Thomas, 50, Cottage Grove, Minn., was dismissed May 22 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge stemmed from a Sept. 22, 2023 incident.
