The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff's Office April 28 through May 5.
Monday, April 28
At 8:57 a.m., police met with a tenant and landlord at N4485 1055th, Prescott, regarding a suspicious camera found in a tree facing the complainant’s property.
Deputies assisted EMS with a medical alert at 11:38 a.m. at W6380 Pepin St., Bay City.
Police met with a complainant regarding a scam attempt at 1:29 p.m. at N7894 County Road W, River Falls.
At 2:45 p.m., a complainant at W3396 Highway 10, Maiden Rock, reported someone was fraudulently using his credit card to make purchases online.
At 3:23 p.m., a caller reported her two female Huskies missing from W6911 210th, Bay City.
At 7:06 p.m., police removed a tree from the roadway at 450th Avenue and 410th Street, Maiden Rock.
Officers removed a tree from the roadway at 7:47 p.m. at 410th Avenue and 290th Street, Maiden Rock.
Tuesday, April 29
Deputies assisted River Falls police at 1:29 a.m. at Main Street and Cemetery Road.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with extra patrol at 6:44 a.m. near 1010 Dexter St.
Police conducted a residential search warrant at 7:22 a.m. at W7932 150th, Hager City, and took items into evidence. One man was arrested and transported to Pierce County Jail.
Police assisted a man who had fallen at 7:23 a.m. at 451 S. Wasson Lane, River Falls.
At 7:55 a.m., a caller at N3965 Highway 63, Ellsworth, reported seeing a UTV on his property on his camera. He wasn’t sure if it belonged to someone who had permission or not.
Officers were dispatched to a juvenile complaint at 9:14 a.m. at a home in the 300 block of Highway 29, Spring Valley.
Deputies responded to a juvenile complaint at 12:20 p.m. in the 2000 block of 690th Avenue, Spring Valley.
At 12:21 p.m., a resident at N4891 1169th, Prescott, reported fraud. He had given a woman money to invest, but she refused to give it back and demanded more.
Police were called to a possible trespassing complaint at 12:27 p.m. at W4941 290th, Bay City. No suspect was found.
Deputies were dispatched to a family civil matter at 2:16 p.m. at N5452 170th, Elmwood.
Deputies provided extra patrol at 3:15 p.m. at Prescott High School (1010 Dexter St.)
At 4:34 p.m., a resident at W10268 370th, Prescott, called police about a woman who said she had planted things at his brother’s property. He wanted police aware as he was going through an eviction with her in another county.
A caller reported a sick raccoon near the road at 5:44 p.m. at Highway 35 and 468th Avenue, Prescott. It was scared away.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with a domestic at 7:56 p.m. at 460 Hillside Drive.
A lost dog was reported at 9:06 p.m. at N2105 County Road EE, Bay City.
A damaged mailbox was reported at 10:03 p.m. at W7596 770th, River Falls.
Wednesday, April 30
At 1:15 a.m., police were dispatched to W11979 Highway 10, Prescott, for a drunk person sitting in a vehicle. The person was identified as the homeowner, who was drinking in their vehicle. He went back inside his residence.
Police responded to a business alarm at 5:42 a.m. at N8232 945th, River Falls. It was a false alarm.
Officers were dispatched to a vandalism complaint at 8:01 a.m. at N8424 900th, River Falls. Someone had struck a garbage can with a vehicle and left minor damage.
A downed tree near the road was reported at 10:08 a.m. at Highway 35 and 1180th Street, Prescott.
Police observed an uncontrolled burn at 11:38 a.m. at N7186 450th, Beldenville. The landowner responded to the scene.
Property damage was reported at 1:15 a.m. at N1129 825th, Hager City.
Police responded to a call concerning fraud at 2:55 p.m. at N8337 650th, River Falls.
Thursday, May 1
Officers assisted EMS at 12:33 a.m. at N1833 785th, Hager City.
At 1:08 a.m., a complainant reported seeing a suspicious person in his driveway at W7425 130th, Hager City. The person took off running down the road. They were not located.
Martell Township reported a sick animal at 11:03 a.m. near Highway 29 and 620th Street, River Falls. It was dispatched.
At 11:22 a.m., a resident of 965th Street, River Falls, called police about ongoing parking issues during school district events on their street.
At 1:32 p.m., a caller reported receiving calls at W3478 650th, Spring Valley, from someone claiming to be from Xcel Energy. They were told to block the calls.
Police were asked to do a welfare check at 4:21 p.m. at W3304 Highway 10, Maiden Rock. The subject was not home, and their vehicle was gone too.
At 6:55 p.m., a caller reported loose dogs coming onto his property at N7420 County Road O, River Falls. He wanted it documented.
Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check at 8:56 p.m. at W8637 174th, Hager City. The person in question was fine.
Officers located an abandoned vehicle at 10:08 p.m. at County Road E and 530th Avenue, Prescott. The registered owner made arrangements to pick it up.
Deputies assisted River Falls police at 10:31 p.m. at Highway 35 and Main Street, River Falls.
Friday, May 2
Deputies responded to a business alarm at 3:26 a.m. at W10299 Highway 10, Prescott. All seemed to be in order.
Officers assisted at the scene of a power outage at 4:28 a.m. at Highway 10 and 730th Street, Ellsworth.
At 10:33 a.m., police received a complaint of a cement truck parking on the roadway near a new home build and creating unsafe conditions at County Road BB and Highway 29, Spring Valley. The property owner said they would correct the issue.
Police responded to corn spillage on the roadway at 2:09 p.m. at highways 35 and 63, Hager City. As much as possible was removed and the highway department was instructed to sweep up the rest.
Officers conducted a phone welfare check at 2:15 p.m. on a man at N4926 County Road O, Ellsworth, who had made concerning comments. He said he was fine and on his way to Hudson.
Deputies assisted Elmwood police with a possibly suicidal person at 2:56 p.m. at a residence in the 100 block of North Woodworth Street.
At 3:13 p.m., officers responded for a possible low hanging powerline near W2995 County Road H, Maiden Rock.
A caller reported a suspicious vehicle at 5:05 p.m. at W759 County Road SS, Plum City. It turned out to be the caller’s in-laws new truck.
Deputies assisted Elmwood police at 7:42 p.m. at 1121 W. Industrial Road, Elmwood.
Police were dispatched at 10:37 p.m. for a suspicious vehicle parked at Highway 35 and Second Street, Maiden Rock. The occupant was waiting to pick someone up from work. They were advised not to park there.
Saturday, May 3
Deputies located a stop sign damaged in a hit and run crash at 2:34 a.m. at highways 10 and 63, Ellsworth.
Police were dispatched at 8:59 a.m. to Highway 63 and County Road K, Ellsworth, for loose dogs on the road. One dog was found and returned to its owner. The other went home on its own. The owner received a warning for animals at large.
Officers were asked to perform a welfare check at 2:13 p.m. after receiving a tip from a crisis line about someone at a County Road O, River Falls, address. The man wanted deputies to leave.
At 3:39 p.m., landowners at N5186 170th, Elmwood, filed a complaint about hunting dogs running loose on their property. They provided photos of the dogs from a trail camera. They want the perpetrators cited if the issue continues.
At 6:12 p.m., a family member requested a welfare check at N7161 County Road CC, Spring Valley. The homeowner said nothing was going on.
Deputies were dispatched to a civil matter at 8:5 p.m. at N7161 County Road CC, Spring Valley. Dispatch told the complainant to contact the courts about the ongoing matter.
Officers were sent to a suspicious activity call at 10:45 p.m. at N5265 1040th Prescott. Police located four juvenile males and spoke with them and their parents about pranks.
At 10:57 p.m., police received a complaint of ATVs revving their engines and refusing to leave W7836 490th, Ellsworth. Nothing was located.
Sunday, May 4
Residents were warned for having a controlled burn without calling it in at 12:34 a.m. at N1566 County Road VV, Hager City.
At 12:48 a.m., police found a vehicle parked partially in the road at N1090 825th, Hager City. Police located the owner and told them to move it.
At 1:41 a.m., police saw vehicle with two occupants sleeping inside parked in the trailer parking area at N1705 860th, Hager City. They had a relative with a cabin nearby.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 3:03 a.m. at 663 E. Main St.
Officers assisted EMS at 11:51 am. at N7653 650th, Beldenville.
Deputies assisted with a medical call at 2:12 p.m. at Highway 10 and 10th Street, Plum City.
At 6:34 p.m., an employee at 1003 First St., Plum City, reported that a man who had been trespassed from the store had come in. He was found and cited for trespassing.
Monday, May 5
At 1:01 a.m., police located animals in the roadway at W7402 Highway 65, Beldenville. A message was left for the owner.
Police conducted a welfare check at 9:32 a.m. at W12468 580th, Prescott.
