The following incidents were reported to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office Aug. 4-11, 2025.

Monday, Aug. 4

  • Officers assisted River Falls police at 12:02 a.m. at 218 W. Charlotte St.
  • Deputies assisted EMS with a medical at 1:51 a.m. at N3572 County Road S, Plum City.
  • At 9:16 a.m., a caller requested information on helicopters in the area of N7976 110th, Spring Valley. Dispatch informed her it was for crop spraying.
  • Officers conducted a welfare check at 1:14 p.m. on a man walking near highways 35 and 63, Hager City. He was just walking to get food.
  • At 2:47 p.m., police saw a truck and trailer lose a round bale at Highway 35 and County Road VV, Hager City. The driver was warned for an unsecured load.
  • A caller reported an abandoned motorcycle on the side of the road at 5:19 p.m. at 570th Avenue and County Road QQ, Prescott. The registered owner said he’d been involved in a crash the night before and sustained injuries.
  • Juveniles were warned for a noise complaint at 6:56 p.m. at W6799 170th, Hager City.
  • At 7:57 p.m., a caller reported a Microsoft scam at N217 McKay Ave., Spring Valley. The people pretending to be from Microsoft knew personal information about the caller.
  • At 8:02 p.m., a complainant reported his neighbor driving on his property at W9163 690th, River Falls.
  • At 8:59 p.m., police were dispatched to a disturbance at N2384 140th, Plum City. A man was trying to rip the complainant’s water pump out of the ground. He was arrested for OWI-first.
  • Police received a harassment complaint at 10:47 p.m. N7677 780th, River Falls.

 

Tuesday, Aug. 5

  • Deputies received a call about a lost cat at 2:59 a.m. at N1090 825th, Hager City.
  • Officers performed a welfare check at 7:31 a.m. on a man W5107 370th, Bay City. He was fine.
  • Deputies assisted RF police at 9:52 a.m. at 1510 Cemetery Road.
  • Officers performed a “standby and keep the peace” at 3:32 p.m. at E114 Akers St., Spring Valley.
  • Police came across a downed tree blocking 450th Street at 4:40 p.m. near 420th Street, Maiden Rock. The township was notified.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 5:01 p.m. at Railroad Avenue and Morse Street.
  • Police received a snake complaint at 8:11 p.m. at W7909 180th, Hager City. The complainant was provided options if the snake returns and confirmed with the DNR.

Wednesday, Aug. 6

  • Deputies assisted Spring Valley police with an incident at 12:04 a.m. at W304 Highway 29.
  • A caller reported two vehicles in the ditch at 4:20 a.m. at county roads N and J, Beldenville. They were fixing fence from a previous incident.
  • At 6:13 a.m., officers found a man sleeping outside the jail on the ground (555 W. Overlook Drive, Ellsworth). He was told to move along.
  • Police notified the highway department of a downed stop sign at 8:27 a.m. at County Road C and Highway 35, Bay City.
  • Fraud was reported at 10:04 a.m. by a resident at N6303 740th, Beldenville.
  • At 1:15 p.m., police spoke to a complainant about ongoing issues with his neighbor at W7928 180th, Hager City. He wanted information documented.
  • At 1:36 p.m., police responded to W7267 155th, Bay City, for a person stung by multiple bees. Officers assisted EMS.
  • Officers responded to a business alarm at 3:38 p.m. at N1563 Highway 63, Hager City. The business had left the door unlocked and a customer walked in.
  • At 4:44 p.m., police received multiple complaints of time delays due to road construction near Highway 63 and 825th Street, Hager City. Police left a voicemail for the project manager.
  • Deputies received an animal complaint at 4:53 p.m. at N7173 1250th, River Falls. The complainant didn’t answer multiple phone calls from police.
  • Officers performed a welfare check at 4:55 p.m. at N1806 County Road K, Hager City. Everything was fine.
  • Police were notified of an animal complaint at 5:20 p.m. at 70th Avenue and 250th Street, Stockholm.
  • Officers assisted with construction traffic at 6:31 p.m. at highways 63 and 35, Hager City.
  • Police were dispatched to a harassment call at 7:30 p.m. at W11457 490th, Prescott.
  • Deputies assisted Elmwood Fire with a structure fire at 7:58 p.m. at W1568 710th, Spring Valley.
  • Officers mediated a civil matter between neighbors at 8:25 p.m. at W7928 180th, Hager City.
  • Vandalism/property damage was reported at 10:56 p.m. at W5329 County Road N, Beldenville.
  • Police responded to a possible domestic at 11:09 p.m. at N650 825th, Hager City. Police separated the parties and transported the man to a nearby convenience store.

 

Thursday, Aug. 7

  • Deputies assisted RF police at 12:29 a.m. at 1003 Dailey Place.
  • Deputies assisted RF police with a business alarm at 12:32 a.m. at 1153 St. Croix St.
  • Officers assisted with traffic control for a downed tree and powerlines at 5:23 a.m. at Highway 35 and County Road A, Maiden Rock.
  • At 7:34 a.m., a caller requested extra patrol due to the driving behavior of a township employee near 570th Avenue and County Road E, Hager City. He claimed the behavior is happening frequently.
  • Police assisted EMS at 12:15 p.m. at N6513 1323rd, Prescott.
  • At 2:38 p.m., police responded to a multiple-vehicle crash with injury at W12625 Highway 10, Prescott.
  • Officers responded to a trespassing report at 3:47 p.m. at N6536 1250th, Prescott. A woman was found on the property inside a shed. She admitted she had no right to be there but refused to leave several times. She was arrested for resisting/obstructing and possess drug paraphernalia and cited for trespassing.
  • Police spoke with a complainant about suspicious text messages at 6:41 p.m. at W1665 56th, Elmwood.
  • Deputies took a report of a stolen license plate at 9:08 p.m. at the Pierce County Fairgrounds (364 N. Maple St.)
  • Officers assisted EMS at 10:18 p.m. at W5114 210th, Bay City.

 

Friday, Aug. 8

  • Deputies were dispatched to a suspicious activity call at 12:02 a.m. at N4013 730th, Ellsworth. Nothing was located.
  • At 5:06 a.m., police spotted a suspicious man walking out of a field near Highway 29 and Cemetery Road in River Falls. He said he was walking to work at a nearby business.
  • Officers conducted a welfare check at 12:58 p.m. on a person who made concerning statements at W7850 Highway 35, Hager City. They denied needing help.
  • At 3:26 p.m., officers assisted in locating a man stranded with injuries on the river near N8044 County Road F, River Falls.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 6:36 p.m. at N6240 Highway 65, Ellsworth.
  • Police checked on a man walking on the highway at 9:57 p.m. near Highway 63 and 825th Street, Hager City. He was given a reflective vest to wear.
  • Deputies were called at 10:15 p.m. to the Pierce County Fairgrounds for a disorderly person. There was a disagreement during the tractor pull. They agreed to separate.

 

Saturday, Aug. 9

  • Officers removed a fallen tree from the road at 1:24 a.m. at County Road O and 370th Avenue, Hager City.
  • Police spoke with several parties during a welfare check at 1:30 a.m. at W6305 Main St., Bay City. Everyone refused law enforcement assistance.
  • Deputies assisted RF police in finding and detaining a suicidal male at 5:08 a.m. at Division Street and Highway 65.
  • At 11:42 a.m., officers assisted at a house fire caused by a lightning strike at N6134 988th, River Falls.
  • At 2:02 p.m., police notified the highway department of a tree blocking the traffic lane at N1950 County Road K, Hager City.
  • Police were dispatched at 2:11 p.m. to the Pierce County Fairgrounds for rude people not following safety rules. They left before police arrived; they were trespassed from the event.
  • Deputies assisted St. Croix County at 6:29 p.m. at W1517 890th, Spring Valley.
  • At 6:41 p.m., police spoke with a complainant about her neighbor firing guns in the backyard at N7171 1250th, River Falls.
  • An intoxicated person was reported at 6:52 p.m. at the Pierce County Fairgrounds.
  • Police were dispatched to a trespassing call at 9:49 p.m. at N1950 County Road D, Bay City. A group of females was asked to leave and not come back.
  • Disorderly conduct was reported at 9:55 p.m. at the Pierce County Fairgrounds. A man was escorted out of the demo derby after screaming at a driver.
  • At 10:01 p.m., police received a report of loud music at W7487 510th, Ellsworth. Police didn’t hear any music when in the area.
  • A suspicious vehicle was reported at 10:25 p.m. at N1202 Wabash St., Bay City. There was a significant time delay in the report.
  • A complainant at W727 270th, Plum City, reported an underage party at 10:34 p.m., but didn’t have an exact address.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 10:46 p.m. at 557 Vincent Lane.
  • An underage alcohol violation was reported at 11:27 p.m. at W3827 County Road G, Ellsworth.

 

Sunday, Aug. 10

  • Officers found a vehicle parked in the middle of the road at 1:24 a.m. near County Road O and 570th Avenue, Ellsworth. The driver was arrested for multiple drug charges and OWI-first.
  • At 1:33 a.m., deputies contacted the town to remove a tree from the road at N673 825th, Hager City.
  • Officers performed a welfare check at 4:55 a.m. at W10662 438th, Prescott. The person was fine.
  • Police received a report of a family dispute at 7:50 a.m. at W10758 468th, Prescott.
  • A caller reported cattle in the roadway at 12:23 p.m. near N7317 County Road E, River Falls. None were found.
  • At 3:16 p.m., a stop sign post hit and run was reported near 610th Street and County Road J, Beldenville. The post was broken off.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a driving complaint at 7:09 p.m. A deputy was hit nearly head on at County Road J and 650th Street, Beldenville. The driver was arrested for OWI-third.
  • Deputies responded at 7:26 p.m. to N650 825th, Hager City for a civil issue. A woman agreed to leave the camper.

 

Monday, Aug. 11

  • A caller reported a suspicious vehicle at 4:57 a.m. at N5591 Highway 63, Ellsworth. It was a construction crew vehicle.
  • Lost cattle were reported at 6:18 a.m. at 490th Street and 570th Avenue, Ellsworth. The owners were going to try to find them.
  • At 7:44 a.m., a property owner was warned for having an illegal burn at W5483 Highway 72, Ellsworth.
  • Police arrested a subject on a warrant at 8:41 a.m. at 147 Evergreen Estates St.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth EMS and police with life-saving measures at 8:54 a.m. at 957 Southgate Drive.
