The following incidents were reported to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Dec. 22, 2025 to Jan. 5, 2026.
Monday, Dec. 22
At 9:08 a.m., police found a semi blocking the intersection at Highway 63 and 180th Avenue, Hager City. The driver called his own tow and was towed out of the ditch.
Police checked on a man slumped over in his vehicle at 9:44 a.m. at 220 Maple Ave. W., Plum City. The man was resting and said he was fine.
Deputies took a theft report at 10:18 a.m. at N3941 Highway 35, Prescott.
At 11:04 a.m., police took a complaint of smoke from a wood boiler that turned into a welfare check at 108 Blue Goose Hill Road, Plum City. The homeowner was fine.
Police conducted a welfare check at 12:52 p.m. on a man who said he hadn’t gotten out of bed yet at N8190 975th, River Falls. He forgot that he had had breakfast and got out of bed earlier.
At 2:58 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious man on the property who is no longer welcome at N1563 Highway 63, Hager City. Deputies located the man and advised him that he’s no longer welcome on the property.
Police assisted EMS at 3:38 p.m. at W2097 County Road S, Maiden Rock.
Officers were dispatched at 5:51 p.m. to N8216 950th, River Falls, for a civil matter/welfare check. Everything appeared to be okay.
Deputies assisted with a medical crisis at 6:49 p.m. at W7717 150th, Hager City. A man was transported to the hospital.
Officers were dispatched to a theft not in progress at 8:36 p.m. at W8339 570th, Ellsworth. A sculpture had been taken.
Police were called to a disorderly conduct complaint not in progress at 9:24 p.m. at W6911 210th, Bay City. The subject wished for no law enforcement action.
Tuesday, Dec. 23
Deputies assisted Prescott police with a disturbance at 3:26 a.m. at 1020 US Highway 10.
Officers responded to an active domestic incident at 4:55 a.m. at N673 825th, Hager City. A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, and a man was arrested for a probation hold.
At 11:52 a.m., a man at W7805 170th, Hager City, reported someone had been taking student loans out in his name.
Deputies assisted EMS at 12:36 p.m. at 301 N. Maple St., Ellsworth.
Police responded to a structure fire at 3:31 p.m. at 644 W. Main St., Ellsworth.
Officers were dispatched to a suspicious activity complaint at 4:54 p.m. at N1202 Wabash St., Bay City. Unwanted people had entered a cabin.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 6:59 p.m. at 181 E. Main St.
Wednesday, Dec. 24
Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at 1:54 a.m. at Highway 65 and 920th Street, River Falls. Both vehicles were towed and both drivers completed field sobriety tests; both were arrested for OWI.
At 11:06 a.m., a caller reported someone wearing blaze orange and carrying a rifle near highways 29 and 63, Spring Valley. No one was located, but the caller was advised of the holiday hunt.
At 12:23 p.m., police were notified of a threat at N3474 50th, Arkansaw. The male complainant said a woman had a video of him. The two were advised to cease contact.
Deputies assisted River Falls police at 5:43 p.m. at Sixth Street and Cascade Avenue.
At 6:42 p.m., a caller reported he would be having a fireworks show at 7-7:30 p.m. near County Road DD And 490th Avenue, Ellsworth.
A caller reported an injured goose at 7:31 p.m. at Highway 29 and County Road QQ, Prescott. The information was passed along to the DNR.
Thursday, Dec. 25
Officers received information on a home alarm at 5:14 a.m. at 1207 River Drive, River Falls.
Police responded to an animal complaint at 5:53 a.m. at N735 825th, Hager City.
Deputies assisted EMS with a medical at 9:20 a.m. at 231 W. Woodworth St., Ellsworth.
Deputies assisted EMS with a medical at 10:11 a.m. at W6438 430th, Ellsworth.
A caller reported cattle on the roadway at 11:11 a.m. at W10765 Highway 29, River Falls. The owner was on the way to get the cattle.
EMS were called to a lift assist at 11:55 a.m. at W6603 Maple St., Bay City.
At 2:05 p.m., police were informed of someone in distress at N7422 County Road O, River Falls. The homeowners were the only ones there and were not in distress.
Deputies assisted Red Wing EMS with a medical at 2:46 p.m. at W7703 Maple St., Bay City.
Police conducted a welfare check at 5:12 p.m. at W7717 150th, Hager City. The man was okay.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 9:25 p.m. at 463 E. Wall St.
Deputies arrested a man for a warrant at 11:54 p.m. at the Woodshed (N1090 825th, Hager City) after officers received a tip of the man heading into Wisconsin over the High Bridge.
Friday, Dec. 26
Deputies assisted at a carbon monoxide alarm at 6:59 a.m. S505 Hidden Fox Court, Spring Valley.
At 9:49 a.m., police received a complaint at W12120 742nd, River Falls, about hiring someone to fix a garage door and the work not being done properly. The complainant didn’t believe he owed them as much as was charged. He was advised it’s a civil issue.
At 10:20 a.m., a caller reported finding a dog in a parking lot at W2555 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
Deputies assisted EMS at 10:26 a.m. at 114 Broad St., Prescott.
At 11 a.m., police spoke to a woman at 229 W. Shaw Ave., Elmwood, about a dog breaking a leash and running after a neighbor. She said she was going to get a stronger leash and collar. She was advised that she would be cited if the dog broke loose again.
Police received a civil complaint at 12:41 p.m. at N4813 1208th, Prescott. Police spoke to both parties and an arrangement was made.
Officers were dispatched to a threat complaint at 6:26 p.m. at W7930 180th, Hager City.
Police responded to an unwanted subject at 9:46 p.m. at N735 825th, Hager City. He was arrested for a probation violation.
Saturday, Dec. 27
Deputies followed up on a threats complaint at 6:18 a.m. at N2425 810th, Hager City, originally reported to Ellsworth police.
Officers responded to a home alarm at 8:28 a.m. at W11098 748th, River Falls. Everything appeared to be secure.
Deputies assisted EMS at 9:54 a.m. at N1963 430th, Maiden Rock.
Fraud was reported at 11:24 a.m. at N5684 610th, Ellsworth.
At 11:51 a.m., police were called to N8216 690th, River Falls, where a woman fell from a horse and injured her back.
At 2:06 p.m., police took information about a missing dog at N2352 County Road D, Bay City.
Suspicious activity was reported at 2:31 p.m. at N8807 County Road F, River Falls.
A caller reported two missing dogs at 3:21 p.m. at N7552 290th, Spring Valley. They returned home.
Deputies and EMS were dispatched to a medical emergency at 4:35 p.m. at W6015 300th, Bay City. Lifesaving measures were performed, but the person was pronounced dead.
A caller reported someone walking along the road at 6:13 p.m. on Highway 63 at 825th Street (north intersection). They were not found.
Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check at 8:06 p.m. at N8259 965th, River Falls. Everything was fine.
Sunday, Dec. 28
At 12:13 a.m., police checked on a vehicle parked at a closed business at N1597 County Road VV, Hager City.
At 12:45 a.m., officers discovered a gate open to secure storage unit facility at N6524 1250th, Prescott. All seemed to be in order.
A theft was reported at 3:01 a.m. at N1090 825th, Hager City.
Police were notified of a possible domestic at 7:22 a.m. at W7290 170th, Bay City. The complainant heard yelling and things slamming. A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and misdemeanor bail jumping. A misdemeanor bail jumping charge was referred for a male.
Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at 11:39 a.m. at Highway 63 and 290th Avenue, Hager City.
At 12:15 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle in the ditch at 510th Street and Highway 29, Baldwin. No vehicle was located.
At 12:34 p.m., a caller reported his father had gone into the ditch at 790th Street and Highway 29, River Falls. They pulled it out of the ditch prior to calling.
At 12:37 p.m., police responded to a one-vehicle crash with damage to a vehicle and guardrail at County Road F and 820th Avenue, River Falls.
Officers assisted EMS at 1:07 p.m. at N5338 387th, Ellsworth.
At 1:23 p.m., a milk truck went off the road at Public and Center streets in Elmwood and rolled onto its side in someone’s yard. No injuries were reported.
At 2:07 p.m., police responded to a vehicle in the ditch at W5430 Highway 10, Ellsworth. The driver had a tow coming and a ride home.
A vehicle went into the ditch at 2:26 p.m. at 190th Avenue and County Road S, Maiden Rock. There was no damage.
Police responded to a one-vehicle slide-in at 4:04 p.m. at W4420 Highway 10, Ellsworth. No damage was visible.
Officers came upon a vehicle in the ditch at 4:27 p.m. at Highway 65 ad 690th Avenue, Beldenville.
Police checked on a vehicle in the ditch at 4:31 p.m. at 510th Street and Highway 63, Spring Valley. It was marked for a tow.
Deputies assisted River Falls police in interviewing someone at 4:39 p.m. at 421 S. Main St.
At 4:40 p.m., a motorist reported being stuck on ice on a hill at Highway 65 and 610th Avenue, Ellsworth.
Police conducted a welfare check at 4:44 p.m. at N8190 975th, River Falls, on a man unhappy with the care he was receiving.
Deputies assisted River Falls police with scene security for a domestic at 5:15 p.m. at 1856 Rodao Drive.
Police were dispatched to a one-vehicle slide-in at 5:19 p.m. at 1250th Street and 770th Avenue, River Falls. The driver’s vehicle was not damaged and the neighbor got it out.
Officers were called about a civil matter at 8:50 p.m. at W6684 150th, Bay City. The matter is pending.
Deputies were called about a suspicious person at 8:53 p.m. at W6476 Highway 35, Bay City. The person was located and arrested for possess drug paraphernalia.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police and EMS in providing lifesaving measures at 8:54 p.m. at 713 S. Maple St. The person was pronounced dead.
Officers assisted River Falls police at 11:03 p.m. at 156 Quarry Road.
Monday, Dec. 29
At 12:42 a.m., police were notified of a man walking on the road near Highway 65 and County Road J, Beldenville. He declined assistance.
Police responded to a vehicle slide-in at 5:09 a.m. at 890th Avenue and Highway 63, Baldwin. A tow removed the vehicle.
A vehicle went into the ditch and struck a fence at 6:36 a.m. at N8612 Highway 128, Spring Valley. The property owner did not want to report the damage.
Missing dogs were reported at 8:47 a.m. at W5967 610th, Beldenville.
Two vehicles slid into the ditch at 9:09 a.m. at 710th and 690th avenues, Beldenville. A tow was contacted.
Police responded to a domestic at 8:44 a.m. at W528 Park Drive, Spring Valley that occurred earlier in the day. A man was arrested for strangulation and suffocation and domestic disorderly conduct.
Officers located a vehicle in the ditch at 12:02 p.m. at Highway 65 and 800th Avenue, River Falls.
Deputies received an animal complaint at 12:05 p.m. at N7422 County Road O, River Falls.
Police located a truck in the ditch at 1:40 p.m. at 190th Avenue and County Road S, Maiden Rock. The owner was working on finding a way to remove the truck.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 4:48 p.m. near Highway 63 and 610th Avenue, Ellsworth. A man was taken into custody and placed on a mental health hold.
Tuesday, Dec. 30
Police were notified of a vehicle slide-in at 10:12 a.m. at County Road QQ and 754th Avenue, Prescott. They had friends on the way to help.
Deputies assisted with a vehicle in the ditch at 2:13 p.m. at highways 29 and 65, River Falls.
Officers responded to a fraud complaint at 2:32 p.m. at W12217 565th, River Falls.
Police were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash with damage at 3:28 p.m. at Highway 63 and 690th Avenue, Beldenville.
A vehicle slid into the ditch at 3:45 p.m. near 1160th Street and Highway 35, Prescott. Deputies were out on emergent calls.
Deputies responded to a two-vehicle head-on crash at 3:55 p.m. at 770th Street and Highway 63, Hager City. Two women died as a result of their injuries.
Officers assisted EMS at 5:27 p.m. at N1603 830th, Hager City.
The highway department located a vehicle in the ditch at 7:23 p.m. at 400th Street and Highway 10, Ellsworth. It was gone before officers arrived.
At 8 p.m., a caller reported someone walking along the road wearing dark clothing at County Road C and 250th Avenue, Bay City. No one was located.
Deputies assisted EMS at 10:57 p.m. at 405 First St. N., Plum City.
Wednesday, Jan. 31
At 6:49 a.m., police checked on two vehicles parked near County Road E and 640th Avenue, River Falls. They confirmed with a parent that two young men were out hunting.
Deputies assisted EMS with a deceased male at 7 a.m. at 333 W. Pierce Ave., Elmwood.
Police responded to an overdose at 8:18 a.m. at W3104 190th, Maiden Rock. EMS transported her to a hospital. During a consented search of the trailer, police found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Officers were notified of a vehicle slide-in at 8:46 a.m. at Second Street and Golf View Drive in Spring Valley. A tow removed the vehicle.
Deputies assisted the State Patrol with a semi in the ditch at 2:38 p.m. near W11540 Highway 29, Prescott.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 7:18 p.m. at 456 W. Main St.
A caller reported a vehicle in the ditch at 7:48 p.m. near 410th Avenue and 690th Street, Beldenville. The occupants were located away from the vehicle. They were both arrested for probation violations; the female was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possess drug paraphernalia.
Deputies assisted Spring Valley police at 8:11 p.m. at Westland Drive and Meadow Lane.
Thursday, Jan. 1
Deputies assisted River Falls police in booking someone at 12:25 a.m. at Pierce County Jail (555 W. Overlook Drive, Ellsworth).
Officers responded to a crash with property damage at 1:45 a.m. at County Road U ad 145th Avenue, Plum City. The driver was arrested for OWI.
Police were dispatched to a vehicle slide-in at 2:48 a.m. near County Road O and 690th Avenue, River Falls. Police were unable to determine the registered owner.
At 6:31 a.m., police picked up a homeless man at 101 N. Maple St., Ellsworth, and gave him a ride to a Red Wing church.
Police were asked to conduct a welfare check on a man at 8 a.m. at N7420 County Road O, River Falls. He had told a crisis line that he took a large amount of pills. He refused to speak to deputies and told them to leave. He could be seen walking around inside the house.
Officers were notified of a vehicle slide-in at 12:49 p.m. at County Road C and 320th Avenue, Ellsworth. A tow had been called.
Deputies responded to a trespassing complaint at 1:18 p.m. at W999 430th, Plum City, and located two people coyote hunting. There was confusion on land permission to hunt. Everything was worked out between them and the owners.
Police and EMS were dispatched to a welfare check at 5:13 p.m. at N4211 677th, Ellsworth. Everything was fine.
Officers checked on suspicious vehicles at 11:02 p.m. at W8586 Highway 35, Hager City. They were informed to find a different spot to park for ride share.
Friday, Jan. 2
Police checked on a suspicious vehicle at 1:12 a.m. at W500 N. Second St., Spring Valley.
Deputies assisted EMS at 7:45 a.m. at N5001 1208th, Prescott. They returned at 8:25 a.m. when the subject requested medical transport.
Officers were dispatched to a vehicle in the ditch at 11:09 a.m. at County Road BB and Highway 29, Spring Valley. A tow was contacted.
Police responded to a home alarm at 1:22 p.m. at W5462 County Road N, Beldenville. Everything appeared to be fine.
At 2:53 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle near N4462 1115th, Prescott. Nothing was found.
At 4:14 p.m., a subject was cited for hunting without a license at 670th Street and 580th Avenue, Ellsworth.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a traffic stop at 6:36 p.m. at Industrial Road and Maple Street.
At 7:52 p.m., a property owner reported damage from a vehicle crash at W4370 120th, Maiden Rock. The vehicle left the scene, but police located it down the road and made contact with the driver.
At 9:16 p.m., police were called to a bar on the Back Channel in Hager City for a woman refusing to leave. She left on her own.
Police responded to a burglary alarm at 11:04 p.m. at 1131 W. Winter Ave., Elmwood. All doors were secure and no forced entry was observed.
Saturday, Jan. 3
Police responded to a welfare check at 6:06 a.m. at W3889 890th, Baldwin. A man there said his son lived in Winona, Minn., so the welfare check was passed onto police there.
Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at 7:44 a.m. at County Road V and 730th Street, Hager City. One driver was arrested for a warrant.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with a traffic stop at 9:26 a.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
Officers assisted Ellsworth police with a traffic stop at 2:16 p.m. at 101 N. Maple St. One person was arrested for a child support warrant.
At 5 p.m., police received a driving complaint of a vehicle stopped in the road blocking traffic at county roads F and FF, River Falls. The driver was arrested for OWI-second.
A loose dog was reported at 6:25 p.m. at N1817 785th, Hager City.
Deputies found a vehicle in the ditch at 10:55 p.m. at County Road OO and 340th Avenue, Hager City. The driver was arrested for OWI-first.
Sunday, Jan. 4
River Falls Fire responded to a fire alarm at 11:09 a.m. at W10325 887th, River Falls. It was a faulty alarm.
Police responded to a vehicle slide-in at 11:33 a.m. at County Road FF and 1130th Street, River Falls. The driver was able to remove the vehicle and UTV from the ditch.
At 1:28 p.m., deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a residence search at 243 N. Bourbon Circle.
Officers assisted Red Wing EMS with a medical at 1:43 p.m. at W7990 150th, Hager City. One person was transported to the hospital.
Deputies assisted State Patrol with a rollover crash at 2:11 p.m. at County Road O ad 710th Avenue, River Falls.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 3:38 p.m. at 170 N. Grant St.
Officers responded to a death at 5 p.m. at N3595 County Road CC, Maiden Rock.
At 5:31 p.m., a caller at N3199 850th, Hager City, reported receiving vague threats over a Facebook Marketplace ad. He was advised to block the person.
Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a vehicle in the ditch at 5:39 p.m. at 910th Street ad 710th Avenue, River Falls.
At 6:07 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle for its driving behavior at County Road CC and Highway 10, Maiden Rock. The driver was arrested for OWI and operate without valid license.
Police received an animal complaint at 8:26 p.m. at W6803 170th, Bay City. The case is pending.
Officers were dispatched to an assault at 9:11 p.m. at N2934 750th, Hager City. A subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and battery.
Deputies arrested someone for a warrant at 10:09 p.m. at N108 Sabin Ave., Spring Valley.
At 10:12 p.m., a caller reported hearing gunshots near W10184 County Road FF, River Falls. Nothing was found.
Monday, Jan. 5
Deputies assisted River Falls police in trying to locate someone involved in a crash at 1:51 a.m. at Highway 35 and Main Street. They were not found.
