The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Jan. 5-12, 2026.

Monday, Jan. 5

  • Officers checked on a vehicle in the ditch at 12:43 p.m. at N5154 County Road O, Ellsworth. A tow company pulled it out.
  • Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at 3:53 p.m. at 610th Street and County Road N, Beldenville.
  • At 4:08 p.m., police received a report of man begging near Highway 63 and 830th Street, Hager City. He was not located.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a vehicle slide-I at 5:50 p.m. at N1878 County Road K, Hager City.
  • Officers were dispatched to a welfare check at 7:01 p.m. at N4211 677th, Ellsworth. EMS transported a woman to the hospital.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott police at 7:24 p.m. at 740 Shane Park Circle.

Tuesday, Jan. 6

  • Deputies assisted River Falls police at 12:15 a.m. at 1011 Falcon Drive.
  • A vehicle slide-in was reported at 3:31 a.m. at County Road J and 690th Street, Beldenville. The owners removed the vehicle.
  • Officers responded to a one-vehicle crash at 4 a.m. at County Road J and 640th Avenue, Ellsworth.
  • Police were called at 5:35 a.m. to a vehicle in the ditch at highways 128 and 72, Elmwood. The driver was arrested for operate without valid license (third within three years) and bail jumping.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a vehicle stuck in the road at 5:47 a.m. at county roads F and FF, River Falls. The semi was able to remove itself.
  • Police came upon a vehicle in the ditch at 5:54 a.m. at county roads BB and Highway 72, Ellsworth. The owners were going to get it out later.
  • Deputies were informed of a semi stuck on a hill at 6:13 a.m. at Highway 63 and 210th Avenue, Hager City. The highway department sanded the area and the semi was able to get moving.
  • Deputies responded to a vehicle vs. guardrail crash at 6:56 a.m. at Highway 35 and County Road A, Maiden Rock. A tow removed the vehicle.
  • Police checked on a vehicle in the ditch at 7:42 a.m. at Highway 75 and 760th Avenue, River Falls. It was going to be removed when the roads were better.
  • Officers stood by for traffic control while a vehicle was pulled from the ditch at 9:40 a.m. off Highway 10, Hager City.
  • A gas truck was stuck on ice at 10:59 a.m. at N3382 550th, Bay City.
  • Police were informed of a trespassing complaint at 11:03 a.m. at N6548 County Road J, Beldenville. A woman that had been trespassed from the property Nov. 11 admitted to going on the property. She was cited by mail.
  • A FedEx truck was stuck on ice in the middle of the road at 11:46 a.m. at N7278 610th, Beldenville. The township was called to sand the road.
  • A caller reported an animal complaint at 3:24 p.m. at N4670 1130th, Prescott.
  • Deputies were notified of a fraud complaint at 5:09 p.m. at W11366 564th, Prescott.
  • Police removed a large tree branch from the road at 5:11 p.m. at Highway 35 and 135th Avenue, Bay City.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a crash at 9:18 p.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street (south), Hager City. Police learned the crash had taken place in Minnesota and passed the info onto Red Wing police.

 

Wednesday, Jan. 7

  • Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at 1:59 a.m. at 770th Street and Highway 63, Hager City. A driver refused to do field sobriety tests and was arrested for OWI.
  • Deputies assisted Elmwood police with a warrant at 6:55 a.m. at 131 S. Martin St.
  • Police conducted a welfare check on a subject making suicidal comments over the phone at 9:24 a.m. at a residence in the 300 block of McKay Avenue in Spring Valley. A mental health co responder spoke to the person and put a safety plan into place.
  • At 10:37 a.m., police responded to a parking issue at C3 Church (W7562 Highway 10, Ellsworth). An employee was advised they should have a parking assistant during large events.
  • Officers conducted a welfare check on a juvenile with a possible sports injury at 2:16 p.m. at a home on 570th Avenue, Ellsworth. The father agreed to take him to the doctor.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 5:45 p.m. at W11353 620th, Prescott.
  • Officers were dispatched to a welfare check at 9:49 p.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street (north), Hager City. Deputies didn’t find anyone.

Thursday, Jan. 8

  • Officers were notified of a vehicle in the ditch at 6:41 a.m. at Highway 65 and 650th Avenue, Beldenville. The vehicle was removed before police arrived.
  • Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at 8:03 a.m. at County Road O ad 710th Avenue, River Falls. The owner left the scene but called the crash in a short time later.
  • Officers responded to a possible suicide incident at 8:48 a.m. at a residence on 340th Avenue, Ellsworth.
  • Police answered questions about property left behind by a tenant at 12:45 p.m. at N6091 County Road QQ, Prescott. They were advised of tenant/landlord rights.
  • At 1:43 p.m., police responded to a report of a juvenile locked out of the house they were staying at in the 400 block of South McKay Avenue, Spring Valley. The juvenile was able to get back inside; the parents were notified of the incident.
  • Officers were informed of a stop sign that had been struck at 2:28 p.m. at N1415 830th, Hager City. No suspect was located.
  • At 4:57 p.m., a caller reported a van parked in the roadway near W5840 690th, Beldenville. The deputy was advised it would be moved after the driveway was salted. It was still in the road tow days later, so it was towed.

Friday, Jan. 9

  • Officers stood by while someone collected property at 8:17 a.m. at W3523 850th, Spring Valley.
  • Officers assisted CPS at 8:47 a.m. at a home in the 500 block of Main Street, Plum City.
  • A caller reported horses in the roadway at 8:51 a.m. at N6485 County Road CC, Elmwood. The owner put them inside a fenced area.
  • Deputies conducted a welfare check at 9:44 a.m. on a student who had been truant at a Bay City home in the 6300 block of Main Street. The parent and juvenile promised to log onto the online school.
  • Officers assisted EMS at 9:50 a.m. at N2804 830th, Hager City. The person was later transported by flight.
  • Police responded to a roll-over crash at 9:58 a.m. at 50th Avenue and County Road CC, Stockholm. State Patrol wrote up the report.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 2:47 p.m. at S543 Van Buren Road, Spring Valley.
  • At 4:07 p.m., police met with a homeowner regarding burning unauthorized items in her burn barrel at W8486 530th, Ellsworth.
  • A caller reported a vehicle slide-in at 5:27 p.m. at 570th Avenue and 740th Street, Ellsworth.
  • Deputies were called about a suspicious person complaint at 5:32 p.m. at N5273 490th, Ellsworth. They were canceled en route.
  • Deputes were dispatched to a welfare check at 6:04 p.m. at N7420 County Road O, River Falls. The subject refused to answer the phone, but finally called back and said he was fine.
  • Officers assisted a motorist in getting their vehicle out of the snow in a parking lot at 7:01 p.m. at N8072 410th, Spring Valley.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a driving complaint at 8:11 p.m. at highways 29 and 65, River Falls. A man was arrested for OWI.

Saturday, Jan. 10

  • Police took a trespassing complaint at 10:59 a.m. at W2598 770th, Spring Valley. The suspect was advised she’s not welcome on the property.
  • Officers came upon a street sign that had been struck at 11:24 a.m. at 840th Avenue and 1090th Street, River Falls.
  • Officers assisted Ellsworth police with a domestic at 11:35 a.m. at 815 E. Main St., Ellsworth. The parties were separated, but the man came back. Ellsworth police arrested him and deputies transported him to jail.
  • Officers assisted Ellsworth police with a domestic at 3:09 p.m. at 591 N. Maple St.
  • Deputies responded to a crash with government property damage at 4:07 p.m. at County Road QQ and Highway 10, Prescott.
  • Deputies, Prescott fire and police and Allina EMS were dispatched to a fire alarm at 5:20 p.m. at N4853 1165th, Prescott. It was a false alarm.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a disturbance at 10:14 p.m. at 370 W. Main St.

Sunday, Jan. 11

  • Police responded to a vehicle in the ditch at 12:05 a.m. at N6073 740th, Ellsworth. The driver was fine.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 2:34 a.m. at Maple Street and Golf Course Lane.
  • Deputies investigated suspicious activity at 3:33 a.m. at N1523 570th, Bay City.
  • At 5:15 a.m., police checked on a man walking near Highway 65 and 760th Avenue, River Falls. He denied any help.
  • Officers took down information about lost dogs at 11:50 a.m. at 419 Pine Ave. E., Plum City.
  • At 12:22 p.m., deputies assisted River Falls police with a 4-year-old found wandering outside without an adult near 818 Cemetery Road. The frantic father arrived, who had a reasonable explanation for the incident. The two were reunited.
  • While responding to a fire at 12:50 p.m. at N3874 150th, Plum City, the fire was contained and police cancelled.
  • A missing dog was reported at 3:46 p.m. at W723 310th, Plum City. The owner was reunited with their pet.
  • Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at 4:13 p.m. at N7789 County Road BB, Spring Valley.
  • Officers assisted in getting a sick/confused raccoon off the roadway at 4:23 p.m. at 620th Street and County Road J, Beldenville.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a domestic at 5:35 p.m. at N8370 County Road W, River Falls. A person was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police with a traffic stop at 8:03 p.m. at 1001 Sunset Lane. The vehicle smelled strongly of marijuana. RF police arrested three people for possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia.
  • Officers saw a suspicious vehicle pull into a parking lot at 9:41 p.m. at W7598 Highway 10, Ellsworth. The occupants were detained and a K9 sniff conducted. The driver was cited for operate without valid license (second) and felony bail jumping.

Monday, Jan. 12

Deputies assisted Allina EMS at 1:14 a.m. at W10734 468th Ave., Prescott.

Pierce County Sheriff's Office, reports, blotter, Pierce County, Wisconsin
