The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Aug. 11-18, 2025.
Monday, Aug. 11
Deputies assisted Ellsworth Fire with a CO2 alarm at 1:13 p.m. at N1353 Pine St., Bay City.
At 1:49 p.m., officers were notified of a stolen boat and trailer from W12393 570th, Prescott.
Deputies assisted at a medical call at 1:42 p.m. at 414 S. Main St., Elmwood.
At 2:44 p.m., police spoke to a woman about property at a former shared residence with a longtime boyfriend at N5981 745th, Ellsworth. It was deemed to be a civil matter.
Police were dispatched to a welfare check at 3:01 p.m. at 111 N. Main St., Elmwood. No one was located matching the description.
Officers responded at 3:58 p.m. to N7211 State Highway 65, River Falls, for a suicidal male who cut himself. EMS transported him to a Minnesota hospital for further evaluation.
Deputies assisted EMS at 4:46 p.m. at W5820 Highway 29, River Falls.
A complainant reported a huge pothole at 5:29 p.m. near an ongoing construction project at Highway 63 and 825th Street, Hager City. The contractor arrived to repair the potholes.
Deputies assisted St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office at 6:12 p.m. at N8034 920th, River Falls.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 8:11 p.m. at 414 W. Main St. A woman said she was looking for agates.
At 11:33 p.m., a complainant reported a suspicious person shining a light at passing cars near 150th Avenue and 790th Street, Hager City. Police couldn’t locate the person.
Deputies assisted River Falls police at 11:41 p.m. at Main Street and Cascade Avenue.
Tuesday, Aug. 12
Deputies, Prescott police and Allina EMS were dispatched to a rollover crash at 12:59 a.m. at Highway 35 and 1150th Street, Prescott. EMS transported the driver with undisclosed injuries.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a disorderly conduct arrest at 2:10 a.m. at 174 Evergreen Estates St.
A stop sign fell over at 6:35 a.m. at 610th Street and County Road J, Beldenville. Police propped it back up.
At 8:02 a.m., police received a complaint of flagging operation at county roads F and FF, River Falls. The highway department was going to reposition the signs.
Deputies responded to a possible domestic at 11:29 a.m. at N7173 1250th, River Falls that had occurred the night before. Police spoke to all parties present.
At 2:24 p.m., police spoke to a complainant about intoxicated people at the demo derby that had taken place Aug. 9 at Pierce County Fairgrounds (364 N. Maple St.)
At 2:37 p.m., police were notified of garbage dumped in a ditch near W9247 800th, River Falls. The owner was not located; police notified the township.
Officers assisted EMS at 3:53 p.m. at W8910 570th, Ellsworth.
Police responded to an accident on private property at 4:27 p.m. at W7096 320th, Ellsworth.
At 5 p.m., police were dispatched to a complaint of traffic and construction congestion at N1090 825th, Hager City. Flaggers appeared to be handling the traffic.
Attempted fraud was reported at 5:01 p.m. at W1898 370th, Maiden Rock.
At 8:10 p.m., a complainant reported a possible intoxicated subject getting into a vehicle at W3527 Highway 35, Maiden Rock. Police couldn’t locate them.
Police were asked to check the welfare of two juveniles fishing at 8:16 p.m. at 400th Street and 450th Avenue, Maiden Rock. Law enforcement notified the parents that the kids were okay.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 10:23 p.m. at 254 S. Chestnut St.
Officers witnessed a road rage incident at 10:53 p.m. near Highway 35 and 770th Street, Hager City. Police stopped the vehicles and one person was arrested for possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia.
Wednesday, Aug. 13
Police were dispatched to a driving complaint in which a driver caused damage to the roadway at 4:24 a.m. at County Road Y and Highway 29, Spring Valley.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a business alarm at 5:23 a.m. at 579 Vincent Lane.
At 8:21 a.m. a woman at N1368 County Road EE, Bay City, reported receiving strange text messages about a graduation party. The complainant blocked the number.
At 10:13 a.m., a caller reported receiving a scam email at N5535 1220th, Prescott. He was advised to delete and block the email.
Police responded to a trespassing complaint at 10:58 a.m. at N2384 140th, Plum City. The suspect was cited for trespassing.
While responding to a loose cattle complaint at 10:59 a.m. at W4877 850th, Spring Valley, the owner was able to get it back into the pasture.
Deputies were dispatched to a motorcycle crash at 12:28 p.m. at Highway 29 and County Road QQ, Prescott. EMS cleared the driver and the motorcycle had no damage from crashing into the grass ditch.
Illegal dumping was reported at 3:18 p.m. at W11705 County Road FF, River Falls.
At 4:07 p.m., police received a call from a man about neighbors dogs running at large and being on his property at N6247 Highway 72, Elmwood. The owner was advised of the laws and warned.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at a traffic stop at 11:48 p.m. at Main and Plum streets.
Thursday, Aug. 14
A subject was arrested for a Department of Corrections warrant at 2:58 a.m. at W8015 County Road KK, Ellsworth.
At 6:18 a.m., a vehicle ran into a store while the operator was inside at 404 Omaha Ave., Elmwood. The driver was cited for operate without valid license and warned for obstructing an officer.
Police were notified of a cow nearby the roadway at 8:29 a.m. at W4579 Highway 10, Ellsworth. The cow was put behind fencing, but the fence had broken spots.
At 9:31 a.m., a complainant reported a disagreement with a neighbor at W528 Park Drive, Spring Valley. The complainant believed the suspect may have stolen from them. They decided not to pursue criminal charges.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a disorderly subject at 11:22 a.m. at Wall and Broadway streets.
At 1:01 p.m., police provided security for a public figure doing a business tour at W2431 Highway 10, Maiden Rock.
Officers were notified of a cow near the roadway 1:40 p.m. at County Road A and Highway 10, Maiden Rock. Police assisted the farmer in finding the cows.
Police were notified of a bicycle vs. car crash at 1:45 p.m. at N6443 1317th, Prescott. There were no injuries or damage to report. The parties just wanted it documented.
At 1:58 p.m., police responded to a medical call at N4985 1208th, Prescott. A man appeared to have driven a lawnmower over a retaining wall, causing injury to his head and limbs. EMS transported him to a hospital.
Police were asked to conduct a welfare check on a woman who didn’t show up for work at 2:34 p.m. at N4854 County Road O, Ellsworth. Officers left her a voicemail. The employer called back and reported the woman called in sick.
At 2:56 p.m., police were notified of an ongoing issue of dogs running at large at N5186 170th, Elmwood. The dog owner will be cited.
At 8:46 p.m., officers were notified of cows in a field at 296 Luca Lane, River Falls. The information was passed onto St. Croix County.
Police responded at 10:17 p.m. to a car vs. train crash at Highway 35 and County Road, Hager City. The driver was arrested for OWI-second.
Friday, Aug. 15
Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at 12:32 a.m. at N8034 920th, River Falls. A man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
At 5:33 a.m., police were notified of an unwanted subject asked to leave N1817 785th, Hager City, who was not leaving the property. A woman was notified she is not allowed on the property.
A possible theft/fraud incident was reported at 11:13 a.m. at W6275 Main St., Bay City.
At 11:55 a.m., a caller at N7420 County Road O, Ellsworth, asked police to find his sister. He was advised officers don’t locate people without a reason.
At 3:34 p.m., officers spoke to a landlord about getting a deceased renter’s items off the property at N8222 950th, River Falls. He was advised to contact the probate office.
Officers responded to a single-vehicle crash with injury at 3:51 p.m. at N8064 County Road F, River Falls.
At 4:59 p.m., deputies were dispatched to an unwanted person complaint at N1817 785th, Hager City. A person was escorted off the property.
Police were dispatched to a parking complaint at 5:05 p.m. at an event venue at W6124 County Road N, Beldenville. Officers left the owners a voicemail about parking on County Road N.
Officers were notified of a downed tree at 6:35 p.m. at County Road K and 840th Street, Hager City. Police alerted the township.
At 6:55 p.m., police were alerted of a threat at N2272 County Road D, Bay City.
Police were informed of a minor trail derailment at 7:29 p.m. near the County Road K, Hager City, crossing.
Officers assisted the fire department at 7:31 p.m. at 790th Street and Highway 29, River Falls.
Deputies provided safety lights while trees were removed from the road at 7:36 p.m. at 790th Street and Highway 29, River Falls.

Officers were notified of a downed power line at 8:21 p.m. at S514 Newman Ave., Spring Valley.
Deputies conducted a welfare check at 8:28 p.m. at N1340 452nd, Maiden Rock.
Saturday, Aug. 16
A suspicious person was reported at 12:32 a.m. at highways 35 and 63, Hager City. They were not located.
Officers responded, along with EMS, to a medical at 5:59 a.m. at N3788 150th, Plum City.
At 6:18 a.m., police were asked to check on a woman walking near the High Bridge on Highway 63. She was fine.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with an assault at 6:55 a.m. at 800 Canton St. Police arrested a man and transported him to jail.
Officers responded to a possible fire at 8:50 a.m. N8008 220th, Spring Valley.
Police responded to a clogged culvert at 1:43 p.m. at County Road K and 285th Avenue, Hager City. They didn’t find a fully clogged culvert but located a downed tree and removed it from the roadway.
Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at 2:31 p.m. at N1563 Highway 63, Hager City. Both parties left the area but were located later and interviewed.
Officers responded to a medical episode at 3:09 p.m. at W12056 508th, Prescott.
Police were notified of a downed tree and boulder in the road at 5:11 p.m. near County Road A and Highway 35, Maiden Rock. Kind passersby helped police remove both.
Officers conducted a welfare check on an older motorist who seemed confused at 6:12 p.m. at W3541 Highway 35, Maiden Rock. A friend arrived to help him.
Deputies responded to a medical emergency at 7:05 p.m. at N1620 County Road VV, Hager City.
Officers were informed of an assault not in progress at 9:47 p.m. at N1620 County Road VV, Hager City.
Sunday, Aug. 17
Deputies checked on several vehicles at 12:18 a.m. at W7858 170th, Hager City. The people were moving things into a storage unit.
Officers were dispatched to a possible underage party at 12:32 a.m. at N6133 825th, Hager City. Parents were hosting the party for their son and assured officers they were monitoring the event.
Deputies were dispatched to a possible hit and run at 3:16 a.m. at N1620 County Road VV, Hager City. The complainant had no information about the suspect vehicle.
Officers responded to a restraining order violation at 10:25 a.m. at 108 Eau Galle Drive, Spring Valley. One person was arrested for violating the restraining order.
Officers assisted with the El Paso Days Parade at 12:34 p.m. at County Road G and 425th Street, Beldenville.
Possible harassment was reported at 1:57 p.m. at 116 S. Main St., Elmwood.
Officers responded to a motorcycle crash at 4:06 p.m. at 410th Street and 650th Avenue, Beldenville. The operator died at the scene.
Suspicious activity was reported at 6:31 p.m. at Highway 63 and 770th Street, Hager City.
Police located a downed county road sign at 6:59 p.m. at 650th Avenue and County Road N, Beldenville.
Illegal dumping was reported at 8 p.m. at W11705 County Road FF, River Falls.
Deputies were dispatched to a domestic at 8:13 p.m. W12455 851st, River Falls. A man was arrested for disorderly conduct.
At 8:20 p.m., police were informed of a vehicle that drove through a garage door at W7605 Highway 35, Hager City. The suspect wasn’t located but charges were forwarded.
Monday, Aug. 18
Police assisted the highway department with the removal of two trees at 5:36 a.m. at County Road EE and 590th Street, Bay City.
At 7:49 a.m., police were informed that two juveniles might have pushed over a portable toilet and shot up the area with a paintball gun near W10634 566th, Prescott.
