The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff's Office Aug. 18-25, 2025.
Monday, Aug. 18
At 11:48 a.m., a man called in about an arrest that occurred on night shift at W7540 Highway 35, Hager City. A man was arrested for felony criminal damage to property, felony bail jumping, operating after revocation and failure to install ignition interlock device.
Police met with a complainant regarding a civil matter at 12:16 p.m. at N2028 385th, Maiden Rock. Officers took photos and completed a report.
The highway department removed a tree from the roadway at 1:26 p.m. at County Road S and 300th Street, Maiden Rock.
At 4:36 p.m., a man involved in an argument at Foster and Johnson streets in River Falls spoke to deputies about the incident. Deputies relayed the information to RFPD.
At 4:40 p.m., a man reported seeing a woman acting strangely and holding rocks at W7725 Highway 10, Ellsworth. A man picked her up and they left the area.
At 4:44 p.m., a caller reported a scam involving Packers tickets at W363 850th, Spring Valley.
At 9:59 p.m., police stopped to check on people shouting at each other outside a bar at N1090 825th, Hager City. It was a verbal argument and no one needed assistance.
Tuesday, Aug. 19
At 7:20 a.m., police attempted to stop a speeding motorcycle at W7540 Highway 35, Hager City. The motorcycle took off at a high rate of speed and passed several vehicles in a no-passing zone. A pursuit was not initiated.
Police stopped out with a stalled vehicle creating a traffic hazard in the intersection at 10:22 a.m. at highways 63 and 35, Hager City. Police smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. A woman was cited for possess drug paraphernalia.
At 11:48 a.m., police issued a temporary restraining order to a man and removed him from the residence at N7432 Highway 65, River Falls.
At 11:59 a.m., officers spoke to a man about a land dispute/civil matter/fraud at N524 County Road S, Maiden Rock. The man was calling on behalf of a friend and had limited information.
Deputies assisted Wisconsin State Patrol with a motorcycle crash at 12:03 p.m. at 710th Street and 450th Avenue, Ellsworth.
Police were notified of a dog entering a complainant’s property and acting aggressively toward a child at 12:46 p.m. at N7173 1250th, River Falls. The dog’s owner was cited due to the ongoing issue.
Police responded to a sudden death at 1:11 p.m. at 301 Cherry Ave. W., Plum City.
Deputies assisted Pierce County Jail staff at 1:46 p.m. at 555 W. Overlook Drive.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 2:18 p.m. at 155 Evergreen Estates St.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 3:42 p.m. at N4213 677th, Ellsworth. A delivery driver was concerned when he found groceries that had been delivered and were sitting outside for quite awhile. The homeowner was fine.
Police stood by at 3:59 p.m. 108 Eau Galle Drive, Spring Valley, while a subject picked up some property.
At 7:52 p.m., police warned a driver for doing burnouts at Highway 35 and 747th Street, Hager City.
Police assisted Red Wing police with a medical at 7:59 p.m. at W6390 Highway 35, Bay City.
At 8:17 p.m., a caller at 430 W. Shaw Ave., Elmwood, reported possible sexual harassment at a farm. The incidents occurred in Dunn County, so the complaint was forwarded to them.
During a traffic stop at 8:43 p.m. at 747th Street and 145th Avenue, Hager City, a woman was arrested on multiple drug charges after a K9 officer alerted on the vehicle.
Wednesday, Aug. 20
Police responded to a panic alarm at 9:42 a.m. at N1555 770th, Hager City. It was a false alarm.
At 11:16 a.m., officers spoke to a complainant at N3206 490th, Bay City, about an ongoing issue regarding dogs at large. Police told the dog owner that this is his last warning before citations will be issued.
At 1:35 p.m., a caller reported issues with unmanned intersections in the construction zone near Highway 63 and 390th Avenue, Ellsworth. Police contacted the construction manager.
Police responded to a home alarm at 2:46 p.m. at N7947 988th, River Falls. Nothing was found to be out of place.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with a domestic disturbance at 8:58 p.m. at 907 Pearl St.
Officers were dispatched to a barking dog complaint at 9:16 p.m. at N7173 1250th, River Falls. Police left the dog owner a voicemail.
Police were notified of a crash at 10:16 p.m. at county roads P and PP, Elmwood. A vehicle crashed into a cornfield. Police found the operator.
Deputies were dispatched to a disorderly conduct complaint at 10:26 p.m. at N7173 1250th, River Falls.
Officers responded to a home alarm at 10:56 p.m. at N7480 County Road BB, Spring Valley.
Deputies came across a suspicious vehicle at 11:39 p.m. at N7424 County Road BB, Spring Valley. The vehicle appeared to have a tampered ignition. The truck had permission to be there.
Thursday, Aug. 21
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 8:46 a.m. at Industrial Road and Maple Street.
Police were informed of an unwanted subject at 9:48 a.m. at W217 N. Second St., Spring Valley. The property owner wanted his ex-brother-in-law to leave the property.
Police dispatched an injured deer that couldn’t move at 11:08 a.m. at N8075 850th, River Falls.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 12:46 p.m. at Maple and South streets.
An officer saw a motorcycle rider go down at 4:14 p.m. at Crosstown Road and Maple Street, Ellsworth. The driver was fine.
Officers assisted EMS with a medical episode at 5 p.m. at W9127 710th, River Falls.
Police assisted EMS with a bicycle crash at 5:53 p.m. at 840th Avenue and 1090th Street, River Falls.
Officers assisted EMS at 11:09 p.m. at 510 First St. N., Plum City.
Friday, Aug. 22
At 5:35 a.m., police spoke to a man who thought a picture had been stolen from W11199 840th, River Falls, then placed for sale online. He bought it and it turned out to be a photo replica.
Police were notified of a deceased eagle at 7:17 a.m. at W7515 Highway 10, Ellsworth.
A caller reported a missing horse at 9:36 a.m. at N1085 County Road CC, Maiden Rock. The horse was reunited with its owner.
Officers were dispatched to a barking dog complaint at 11:34 a.m. at W6649 County Road N, Beldenville. No one appeared to be home; the dog was healthy and had food and water.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with a two-vehicle crash at 3:15 p.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street.
Suspicious activity was reported at 3:40 p.m. at N1478 810th, Hager City.
Deputies were dispatched to a standby request at 5:21 p.m. at 108 Eau Galle Road, Spring Valley. The request was cancelled.
Officers responded to a harassment complaint at 5:37 p.m. at W7930 180th, Hager City. They were called from the address again at 5:56 p.m. about a civil matter.
Police assisted EMS at 6:45 p.m. at N1506 715th, Bay City.
Deputies were notified of a suspicious man on the roadside at 8:58 p.m. near Highway 29 and County Road E, River Falls. Police gave the person a courtesy ride home.
Police checked on a suspicious vehicle at 10:54 p.m. at N1415 830th, Hager City. The driver was fishing nearby.
Officers responded to a civil matter regarding a damaged bike at 11:09 p.m. at N1620 County Road VV, Hager City.
Deputies were dispatched to a one-vehicle crash at 11:40 p.m. at County Road K and 820th Street, Ellsworth.
Suspicious activity was reported at 11:46 p.m. at W8210 County Road K, Ellsworth.
Saturday, Aug. 23
A tree was removed from the road at 2:02 a.m. at N673 825th, Hager City.
At 2:08 a.m., police saw a truck parked at N1299 825th, Hager City. The truck had trash outside it. Males were instructed to pick it up.
At 9:31 a.m., police assisted Pierce County Jail staff with a disorderly man brought in from 360 S. Elm St., Prescott.
Police responded at 11:50 a.m. to N6926 610th, Beldenville, for cattle in the roadway. The owner arrived to take care of them.
At 12:15 p.m., police were dispatched to talk to a caller at W11404 County Road FF, River Falls, about his sister trespassing on his property and harassing him.
Officers EMS with a patient at 3:44 p.m. at N7317 820th, River Falls.
At 4:19 p.m., police spoke with a woman at W4419 Highway 29, Spring Valley, about an underage party at her residence that she didn’t want to happen. She was told to call police if people refused to leave.
Officers assisted Ellsworth police with a domestic at 7:30 p.m. at 191 Evergreen Estates St.
At 7:49 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a juvenile choking at N6224 490th, Beldenville. The obstruction was removed from the child’s throat before police arrived.
Police responded to a motorcycle crash at 8:47 p.m. at County Road S and 190th Street, Plum City.
Officers assisted Elmwood EMS at 9:33 p.m. at Nugget Lake County Park (N4351 County Road HH, Plum City).
A possible domestic was reported at 9:41 p.m. at N7838 535th, Spring Valley. A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Police conducted a welfare check at 10:54 p.m. at W10041 Highway 29, River Falls. No assistance was needed.
Sunday, Aug. 24
Police spoke to a woman about a civil matter at 6:21 a.m. at W7635 165th, Hager City. She was advised to contact a lawyer.
Chickens, ducks and geese were loose on the roadway at 7:22 a.m. at Highway 65 and 740th Street, Beldenville. They were brought home, where the owner was told to contain their animals.
Deputies responded to an unwanted person complaint at 8:26 a.m. at N1817 785th, Hager City. A woman was cited for trespassing.
At 8:47 a.m., police were notified of a trailer and blankets near N5096 1208th, Ellsworth. The homeowner thought someone might be living out of the trailer. Nothing was located.
A suspicious woman was reported at 10:07 a.m. at W7898 180th, Hager City. She was the same woman police had been dealing with throughout the morning. She was arrested for disorderly conduct, possess drug paraphernalia and trespassing.
At 10:25 a.m., police checked on a building with open doors at S1450 County Road CC, Spring Valley. Nothing suspicious was located.
A missing dog was reported at 12:20 p.m. at W9852 770th, River Falls.
Police checked on a man walking at 3:11 p.m. near Highway 35 and 125th Avenue, Bay City. He was walking to Minneapolis. Police offered him some snacks.
Deputies assisted EMS with a medical call at 3:34 p.m. at N4955 1208th, Prescott.
Deputies assisted River Falls police at 11:44 p.m. in the 200 block of North Main Street.
Monday, Aug. 25
A caller reported a dog running loose at 7:01 a.m. at W10415 860th, River Falls. Police didn’t locate the dog.
Deputies assisted Prescott police at 7:21 a.m. at 1115 Dexter St.
