The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Dec. 1-8, 2025.

Monday, Dec. 1

  • Deputies assisted EMS at 2:31 a.m. at 125 Scott St., Elmwood.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott police at 8:14 a.m. at 570th Avenue and Jefferson Street.
  • Police responded to a vehicle in the ditch with no damage at 8:33 a.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street (north intersection) and stood by while it was towed out.
  • At 9:29 a.m., officers responded to N2470 County Road CC, Maiden Rock, for an unwanted person who had a bond condition of no contact. They left before police arrived.
  • At 9:39 p.m., police responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash with minor injuries at county roads D and EE, Bay City.
  • Police located a truck in the ditch at 10:36 a.m. at N4368 710th, Ellsworth. The truck had no damage; officers left a voicemail for the owner.
  • At 3:53 p.m., a man at N7420 County Road O, River Falls, called dispatch asking what happened to his family years ago. He didn’t want a call back from an officer.
  • A suspicious person was reported at 5:11 p.m. at W5340 799th, Spring Valley. A woman said she was working for the Census and dropped off flyers.
  • At 5:55 p.m., a caller at N7420 County Road O, River Falls, reported possible cameras or lights shining through his windows. Deputies said they would check the area.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott police with a harassment complaint at 11:36 p.m. at 1409 Glenridge Drive. A man wanted a woman to stop calling him. Police tried to reach the suspect without success.

Tuesday, Dec. 2

  • Police responded to a civil matter at 7:50 a.m. at W1153 Whitetail Run, Spring Valley. Police told a man he was not allowed to stay at the residence.
  • Officers received a drug complaint at 8:26 a.m. at N7373 950th, River Falls.
  • Deputies assisted Red Wing EMS with a medical at 11:27 a.m. at Highway 35 ad 170th Avenue, Hager City.
  • A caller reported people trespassing on the railroad tracks at 11:58 a.m. at 385th Street and Highway 35, Maiden Rock. They were not located.
  • The VA asked police to conduct a welfare check at 1:55 p.m. at N7420 County Road O, River Falls. No contact was made.
  • At 3:18 p.m., police were called about an open door found at N7393 Highway 65, River Falls. A search turned up nothing. Officers secured the door.
  • Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance/unwanted person complaint at 4:33 p.m. at N2470 County Road CC, Maiden Rock. The suspect fled before police arrived. When officers located him, the suspect fled police and a pursuit ensued. The suspect crashed his vehicle and was taken into custody.
  • Deputies responded to a mental health crisis at 5:04 p.m. at Spring Valley Village Hall/Public Library (E121 E. Second St.) A safety plan was put into place.
  • Officers were called to a vehicle vs. guardrail crash at 11:46 p.m. at 790th Street and Highway 29, River Falls.

Wednesday, Dec. 3

  • Police were dispatched to an assault not in progress at 12:44 a.m. at 521 First St., Plum City. Police collected statements and information.
  • Officers responded to a single-vehicle crash at 1:10 a.m. at Highway 65 and 820th Street, River Falls. The driver was arrested for OWI.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 2:42 a.m. at 232 S. Piety St.
  • At 2:58 a.m., a resident at 122 W. Shaw Ave., Elmwood, called police when she was awoken by a noise outside. There were no footprints in the snow around the house.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a crash at 6:20 a.m. at Pleasant Avenue and Main Street.
  • Officers responded to a mental health emergency at 7 a.m. at a home in the 600 block of Foote Avenue, Spring Valley. They gave a man a courtesy ride to the hospital.
  • Police were dispatched to a vehicle vs. tree crash at 7:44 a.m. at County Road UU and 100th Avenue, Plum City.
  • At 8:36 a.m., police responded to a harassment complaint at N2884 945th, Hager City. Officers counseled people on not sending inappropriate texts or emails.
  • At 8:43 a.m., officers were dispatched to a fraud complaint at River City Metals (N3941 Highway 35, Prescott). Someone had forged a check on behalf of the business.
  • At 10:25 a.m., a vehicle went off the road and struck a stop sign at 10:25 a.m. at County Road DD and 410th Avenue, Ellsworth. The highway department fixed the sign.
  • EMS transported a woman kicked by a horse to the hospital at 11:45 a.m. from N1761 County Road U, Plum City.
  • Officers responded to a minor two-vehicle side swipe crash on private property at 2:44 p.m. at 600 Main St., Plum City. Both drivers exchanged information.
  • Police were dispatched to a vehicle slide-in at 2:49 p.m. at Highway 10 and County Road OO, Hager City.
  • Deputies assisted with a medical call at 3:22 p.m. at Spring Valley Middle/High School (S1450 County Road CC).
  • Officers were dispatched to a welfare check at 5:20 p.m. at highways 35 and 63, Hager City. A person needed help due to the cold weather.

Thursday, Dec. 4

  • Officers stood by at 9:37 a.m. while a subject collected belongings at W11265 Highway 10, Prescott, where he was having conflict with family.
  • Deputies assisted EMS with a medical at 2:26 p.m. at Highway 63 and 290th Avenue, Hager City.
  • Police responded to a one-vehicle rollover at 3:51 p.m. at County Road W and 855th Avenue, River Falls.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 6:16 p.m. at 721 E. Campbell St.
  • Officers were notified of a fire at 8:06 p.m. at W8021 Highway 10, Ellsworth. The property owner said he was burning brush. He was reminded to call in a controlled burn next time.
  • Police were dispatched to a domestic at 10:17 p.m. at W6524 870th, River Falls. The parties agreed to separate for the night.

Friday, Dec. 5

  • Officers conducted a security check at 1:28 a.m. at N7804 902nd, River Falls. All seemed to be in order.
  • Police conducted a welfare check at 8:18 a.m. at N617 Foote Ave., Spring Valley. A safety plan was in place.
  • At 9:11 a.m., officers took information about a fraud using Amazon gift cards at W7477 Highway 10, Ellsworth.
  • At 10:22 a.m., a caller reported seeing a vehicle sitting in a field for a long period of time at W5372 County Road V, Bay City. The vehicle’s owner said it was sitting on their property because it had been disabled since farm season.
  • A woman was found not breathing at 12:05 p.m. at W2109 County Road S, Maiden Rock. She was pronounced deceased.
  • Deputies responded to a vehicle slide-in at 1:49 p.m. at Highway 35 and 468th Avenue, Prescott. There was no damage.
  • Police were notified of cows near the roadway at 2:19 p.m. at N8554 County Road Y, River Falls. The complainant was able to push them back toward the house. Calls to the owner went unanswered.
  • Officers took information on possible harassment at 2:44 p.m. at W6454 Highway 35, Bay City. Police spoke to both parties involved.
  • Police were notified of a man having suicidal thoughts at 3:27 p.m. at Spring Valley Village Hall/Public Library (E121 E. Second St.) He was taken into custody on an emergency mental health chapter detainment.
  • Officers responded to an abandoned vehicle complaint at 3:56 p.m. at S405 McKay Ave., Spring Valley. No contact information could be found for the registered owner. The business was told they could tow it at their own expense.
  • Deputies were dispatched to an animal complaint at 4:43 p.m. at W5404 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
  • Officers located a vehicle that had driven off a driveway at 5:09 p.m. at Highway 65 and 800th Avenue, River Falls. They stood by while the vehicle was towed out; it had no damage.
  • Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at 6:05 p.m. at 1170th Street and 570th Avenue, Prescott. The vehicle was towed.
  • Officers stood by for a property exchange at 8:35 p.m. at S209 Golfview Drive, Spring Valley.

Saturday, Dec. 6

  • At 3:19 a.m., deputies assisted Woodbury police in trying to locate a juvenile runaway at a home on 884th Avenue near River Falls.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott police at 4 a.m. at 1377 Orrin Road.
  • Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at 10:55 a.m. that occurred the night before at County Road BB and Highway 29, Spring Valley.
  • Officers responded at 12:09 p.m. to a civil matter and an assault that allegedly occurred in the early morning hours at W6585 Maple St., Bay City.
  • Police were notified of cows near the roadway at 1:32 p.m. at W5404 Highway 29, Spring Valley. The owner was advised.
  • Officers located a single-vehicle crash at 1:40 p.m. near Highway 63 and 490th Avenue, Ellsworth. A tow was on the way. No damage was observed.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott Fire with a shed fire at 6:33 p.m. at 269 Chestnut St.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police with a home alarm at 7:32 p.m. at 1171 River Ridge Road.
  • At 8:56 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious male singing and dancing near 610th Avenue and 670th Street, Ellsworth. The man denied needing any assistance.
  • Deputies assisted RF police with a crash at 9:13 p.m. at Division and Main streets.
  • Officers were dispatched to a noise complaint/underage drinking issue at 11:30 p.m. at 301 Main St., Plum City. All parties left before police arrived; the resident was warned.

Sunday, Dec. 7

  • Police checked on two suspicious vehicles at 12:37 a.m. near County Road A and Highway 35, Maiden Rock. Both vehicles contained duck hunting gear; tracks were leading away from the vehicles.
  • Deputies responded to a business alarm at 5:36 a.m. at 610 E. Main St., Ellsworth. An employee had the key code.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a suspicious persons complaint at 6:30 a.m. at 240 Broadway St. where a K9 sniff was conducted on vehicles.
  • Cows were reportedly near the roadway at 7:27 a.m. at N6625 570th, Beldenville.
  • Police located a vehicle in the ditch at 8:39 a.m. near 690th Street and Highway 29, River Falls. It had no damage; a tow was called.
  • Officers responded to a one-vehicle crash with property damage at 9:19 a.m. at county roads M and F, River Falls. The suspect fled.
  • Deputies responded to a trespassing complaint at 10:18 a.m. at W6538 Market St., Bay City. The vehicle left and police were told they didn’t need to come.
  • Officers responded to a vehicle slide-in at 12:17 p.m. at Highway 35 and 468th Avenue, Prescott. The vehicle had no damage.
  • Officers responded to a single-vehicle crash with property damage at 12:33 p.m. at W10528 Highway 35, Prescott.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 2:25 p.m. at W11149 County Road M, River Falls.
  • At 3:28 p.m., officers were notified of a toddler locked in a stairwell at N1231 Wabash St., Bay City. The fire department got the door open.
  • Police conducted a welfare check at 6:55 p.m. at W3499 730th, Spring Valley. Everything was fine.
  • At 7:12 p.m., police came upon a vehicle in the ditch at 410th Avenue and County Road D, Ellsworth. Officers attempted to help the owner push the vehicle out of the ditch but were unsuccessful. The owner called a tow, but later called police back and demanded they tow the vehicle.
  • At 7:38 p.m., a complainant reported a noise complaint of people arguing at N8034 920th, River Falls. When officers arrived, the lights were off and no one answered the door.

Monday, Dec. 8

  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a vehicle pursuit at 1:38 a.m. at Highway 10 and Hill Street. Ellsworth police apprehended the suspect.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 2:06 a.m. at N5981 745th, Ellsworth.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 6:57 a.m. at N3580 Highway 63, Hager City.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 8:54 a.m. at W9397 637th, Ellsworth.
