The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Dec. 15-22, 2025.

Monday, Dec. 15

  • After a traffic stop for an equipment violation at 1:01 a.m. at Crosscut and Wall streets in Ellsworth, the driver became resistive. They were arrested for obstructing an officer and cited for multiple violations.
  • Officers were dispatched to a medical episode at 1:10 p.m. at W4890 Highway 29, Spring Valley. The person denied EMS.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth EMS with a possible stroke incident at 4:17 p.m. at N7652 650th, Beldenville.
  • Deputies assisted River Falls police at 5:13 p.m. at Main Street and Cascade Avenue in River Falls.
  • A home alarm sounded at 6:31 p.m. at W7080 645th, Beldenville.
  • While on routine patrol, an officer saw a vehicle overturned in the ditch at 6:51 p.m. at Highway 29 and a county road near Spring Valley. Police collected the necessary information and completed a crash report.
  • Officers were dispatched to a welfare check on a man walking along the road at 7:15 p.m. near County Road F and 850th Avenue, River Falls. He was not located.
  • At 9:29 p.m., police stopped a vehicle related to a previous crash investigation at Newman Avenue and South Third Street, Spring Valley.
  • Deputies conducted a welfare check related to an area-wide “attempt to locate” bulletin at 10:15 p.m. at N8281 965th, River Falls. The subject was located and said he was fine.
  • Police assisted St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office with taking someone into custody at 10:15 p.m. at N605 County Road S, Maiden Rock.

Tuesday, Dec. 16

  • Officers assisted Ellsworth police with an alarm at 7:20 a.m. at 740 Old West Main St.
  • Police took an identity theft report at 10:27 a.m. at N4941 County Road S, Elmwood.
  • A caller reported a suspicious person at 11:04 a.m. at W8405 County Road KK, Ellsworth. Police could find no information stating the person couldn’t be there.
  • At 11:34 a.m., a caller reported seeing man passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle on the side of the road near N7335 County Road J, Beldenville. The man told the caller he was okay. He was gone when police arrived.
  • At 12:28 p.m., officers took a call about “no trespassing” signs near 460th Street and 113th Avenue, Maiden Rock, and the legality of the signs.
  • Deputies stopped people for illegal use of the snowmobile trails at 12:53 p.m. near County Road J and Highway 65, Beldenville. The operators were cited.
  • Police were dispatched at 2:35 p.m. to the Red Wing Airport (W7145 148th, Bay City) for a vehicle that struck an unoccupied plane.
  • Officers responded to multiple reports of a disorderly female at 3:30 p.m. at highways 35 and 63, Hager City. She was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting/obstructing an officer and bail jumping. She was also cited for trespassing.
  • Police were dispatched to a domestic in progress at 6:35 p.m. at 624 Main St., Plum City. Information and statements were collected.

Wednesday, Dec. 17

  • At 12:33 a.m., a woman reported hearing pounding on her outdoor cameras at W12034 497th, Prescott. Everything appeared to be okay.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a donkey in the roadway at 7:07 a.m. at County Road E and 690th Avenue, River Falls. The donkey was not located.
  • Deputies assisted with a lockdown drill at 9:29 a.m. at 213 S. Scott St., Elmwood.
  • At 12:06 p.m., a caller requested someone be removed from the resident at N8090 620th, Beldenville. He was informed the civil matter would have to be addressed through the courts.
  • The highway department was notified of a large pothole at 12:47 p.m. at County Road O and 759th Avenue, River Falls.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check at 1:58 p.m. at W7717 150th, Hager City. The subject was provided resources to contact.
  • Deputies stood by with EMS while they checked out a man at 2:06 p.m. at W4419 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
  • At 2:40 p.m., police transported a man to the jail after the judge found him in contempt of court during a hearing at the Pierce County Courthouse (414 W. Main St., Ellsworth).
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 2:46 p.m. at W7635 165th, Hager City.
  • Police were dispatched at 4:09 p.m. to a welfare check on a woman in a vehicle at County Road J and 690th Avenue, Beldenville. She was able to get her car started.
  • At 6:20 p.m., a caller reported drone flyovers at N4365 County Road CC, Elmwood. He was given advice on how to respond to future issues.
  • Loose horses were reported on the roadway at 8:06 p.m. at County Road Y and 810th Avenue, Spring Valley. They were captured and returned to their owner.
  • Deputies assisted EMS with a medical emergency at 8:27 p.m. at N2540 410th, Maiden Rock.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 9:17 p.m. at 535 W. Kinne St.

Thursday, Dec. 18

  • Officers were dispatched to an unwanted person complaint at 1:29 a.m. at N4883 County Road OO, Hager City. The complainant said someone banged on the door and left. Police talked to the woman, who said her car had broken down. Police provided her with a courtesy ride.
  • Deputies responded to a home alarm at 4:10 a.m. at N7510 County Road F, River Falls. The building was secure and no suspicious activity was evident.
  • Prescott police pulled over a vehicle of interest in regard to a theft that occurred in Minnesota at 10:09 a.m. at N3941 Highway 35, Prescott. Suspects were interviewed.
  • Deputies assisted EMS at 11:02 a.m. at N4954 Highway 63, River Falls. The person was transported to River Falls Area Hospital for an evaluation.
  • Suspicious activity was reported at 1:16 p.m. at Highway 35 and 1005th Street South, Hager City.
  • At 3:10 p.m., a delivery driver reported finding an exterior water spigot running at N5529 610th, Ellsworth. Police left a voicemail for the homeowner when no one answered the door. Nothing suspicious was found around the house.
  • Officers responded to a one-vehicle rollover with injuries at 3:35 p.m. at Highway 35 and 1005th Street North, Hager City.
  • Deputies and Spring Valley police were dispatched for a suicidal juvenile at 5:54 p.m. at a County Road CC residence. They were taken in for an evaluation.
  • A subject was arrested for multiple drug charges after a traffic stop for an obstructed rear windshield at 9:14 p.m. at Main and Wallace streets, Ellsworth. A K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics.
  • Deputies were dispatched to an animal complaint at 9:17 p.m. at W6444 570th, Ellsworth. The animals were found with access to food and water.

Friday, Dec. 19

  • Police were dispatched to a downed powerline at 7:25 a.m. at Main and Church streets, River Falls.
  • Officers were dispatched to a storage locker burglary at 10:29 a.m. at W500 N. Second St., Spring Valley.
  • Police took an animal welfare complaint at 12:02 p.m. about animals at N3430 County Road O, Ellsworth. They had access to food, water and shelter and looked healthy.
  • Deputies assisted EMS with a medical call at 12:22 p.m. at W4419 Highway 29, Spring Valley.
  • Attempted fraud was reported at 1:30 p.m. at 132 Birch Ave., Plum City.
  • Officers located a black smoke fire at 1:33 p.m. at N6284 740th, Beldenville. The property owner said he was gutting a residence and didn’t know it was illegal to burn items. He was forced to put out the fire and warned. The DNR was also informed of the issue.
  • Police were dispatched to a home alarm at 4:11 p.m. atW12111 508th, Prescott. The alarm company cancelled the alarm.
  • Officers assisted EMS at 5:03 p.m. at W7137 770th, Beldenville.
  • A lost dog was reported at 7:02 p.m. at county roads C and V, Ellsworth.

Saturday, Dec. 20

  • Deputies assisted Red Wing EMS at 12:42 a.m. at W7635 165th, Hager City.
  • Deputies assisted Prescott police with a fight in progress at 2:48 a.m. at 1004 Hilton St.
  • Police responded to a vehicle crash reported by an automated 911 crash call at 5:02 a.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street (south), Hager City. The driver was arrested for OWI-first.
  • Deputies conducted a welfare check at 10:11 a.m. at W4419 Highway 29, Spring Valley. A male was located deceased.
  • Two found dogs were reported at 10:30 a.m. at W12143 846th, River Falls.
  • Police responded to a medical call at 2:14 p.m. at W4456 370th, Ellsworth. A man was not breathing and CPR was performed. The man was pronounced deceased.
  • At 5:56 p.m., a caller reported a possibly spiked drink at N6490 Highway 63, Beldenville. The subject was informed testing couldn’t be done due to the complaint starting out of jurisdiction.
  • At 6:56 p.m., police spoke with a complainant about the eviction process at N6663 County Road J, Beldenville.
  • At 9:47 p.m., police received a report of a possible parole violation at N1090 825th, Hager City. The suspect was not in violation.
  • Police were dispatched to a suspicious person complaint at 10:30 p.m. at N7804 902nd, River Falls. One person was arrested after drugs and paraphernalia were found.

Sunday, Dec. 21

  • Police responded to a business alarm at 7:29 a.m. at W9852 290th, Hager City. An employee had accidentally set off the alarm.
  • Officers were notified of a vehicle in the ditch at 8:45 a.m. at W7905 Highway 29, River Falls. The owner was told he should call right away when an accident occurs.
  • Deputies were dispatched to a domestic altercation at 11:46 a.m. at N1921 830th, Hager City. The parties were separated and a report for disorderly conduct completed.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth EMS at 2:22 p.m. at W5627 290th, Bay City.
  • Deputies assisted Ellsworth EMS at 3:36 p.m. at W4997 330th, Bay City.
  • At 8:08 p.m., police spoke to a complainant about threats at W8043 140th, Hager City. She was advised to block the number and social media accounts.

Monday, Dec. 22

  • At 7:53 a.m., a caller at W6438 430th, Ellsworth, advised he keeps getting his neighbors’ packages. He was told to contact the delivery service or his neighbors.
  • At 8:46 a.m., police checked on a maroon Chevy Impala in the middle of a field at County Road V and 550th Street, Bay City.
