The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Dec. 8-15, 2025.
Monday, Dec. 8
At 10:31 a.m., officers arrested a man with a warrant at Pierce County Courthouse (414 W Main St., Ellsworth).
Officers conducted a welfare check at 10:57 a.m. at N1787 150th, Plum City. The man said he was fine and didn’t need anything.
Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at 12:20 p.m. at Highway 72 and 430th Street, Ellsworth. A vehicle failed to yield when leaving a driveway.
Officers stood by at a vehicle slide-in at 1:08 p.m. at N5810 530th, Ellsworth, until a tow could arrive.
Deputies and State Patrol responded to a one-vehicle slide-in at 3:49 p.m. at Highway 65 and County Road J, Beldenville.
Officers were dispatched to a minor two-vehicle crash without injuries and minor damage at 4:55 p.m. at County Road O and 650th Avenue, River Falls.
A tow company notified police of a vehicle slide-in without damage at 8:53 p.m. at 190th Avenue and County Road U, Plum City.
Tuesday, Dec. 9
At 1:05 a.m., police saw fresh footprints in the snow entering a restricted area at W5900 Highway 35, Bay City. No one was located.
Officers provided lights at a vehicle slide-in at 1:42 a.m. at County Road O and 650th Avenue, River Falls.
Police were called to a vehicle in the ditch at 4:02 a.m. at county roads F and M, River Falls. They gave the driver a courtesy ride to a nearby business.
Deputies responded to a vehicle slide-in at 6:03 a.m. at Highway 65 and County Road J, Beldenville. Once a tow tugged it out, the vehicle was able to drive away.
At 12:17 p.m., a complainant notified police of theft from a mailbox at W9580 Highway 35, Hager City. A check taken from the mailbox had also been deposited.
Lost dogs were reported at 2:43 p.m. at N8569 635th, River Falls.
At 3:25 p.m., officers helped a stuck motorist get out of the ditch at Wasson Lane and Cemetery Road in River Falls.
Officers responded to an accident with damage at 3:40 p.m. at Highway 29 and County Road E, River Falls.
Police were dispatched to a one-vehicle rollover with injuries at 4:27 p.m. at 380th ad 375th streets, Maiden Rock.
Officers stood by while a vehicle was towed from the ditch at 4:56 p.m. at 757th Avenue and County Road F, River Falls.
Police responded to a slide-I and multiple vehicles stuck on a hill due to snow at 5:06 p.m. at Highway 29 and County Road W, River Falls.
Deputies were dispatched to a vehicle slide-in without damage or injury at 5:11 p.m. at Van Buren Road and Second Street in Spring Valley.
Officers responded to a vehicle slide-in at 5:23 p.m. at W5334 Highway 63, Spring Valley.
Police were called at 7:05 p.m. to a group home at N7211 Highway 65, River Falls, for a resident who walked away. They were located on the grounds and escorted back to the facility willingly.
Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at 7:53 p.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street (north intersection) in Hager City. One driver was arrested for OWI.
Wednesday, Dec. 10
A tow removed a stuck semi at 12:31 a.m. at 1160th Street and Highway 35, Prescott.
A semi crashed at 3:21 a.m. at county roads F and FF, River Falls.
A vehicle slid off the road at 6:02 a.m. at Highway 10 and 50th Street, Plum City. There were no injuries or damage.
A vehicle slid off the road at 7:35 a.m. at 790th Street and County Road KK, Ellsworth. A tow was called.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 8:15 a.m. at S332 McKay Ave., Spring Valley. The woman was fine and shoveling outside with her son.
A vehicle went into the ditch at 10:15 a.m. at County Road QQ and 570th Avenue, Prescott. A tow was called.
Officers responded to a vehicle in the ditch at 3:25 p.m. at Highway 35 and 410th Avenue, Prescott. No damage was observed.
Police took a shooting complaint at 4:54 p.m. at W11983 820th, River Falls.
Officers took a harassment complaint at 4:56 p.m. at N2781 320th, Maiden Rock. A person had been receiving harassing texts.
Deputies checked on a man walking at 8:34 p.m. near N1090 825th, Hager City. He didn’t need any help.
Thursday, Dec. 11
Deputies assisted River Falls police at 1:25 a.m. at River Falls High School (818 Cemetery Road).
Officers found a bike in the ditch at 8:44 a.m. on Highway 35 in Hager City. No one was located.
A vehicle slide-in was reported at 1:19 p.m. at Highway 65 and 77oth Avenue, River Falls.
Officers responded to a driving complaint that turned into an argument at 4:57 p.m. at N8216 950th, River Falls. The parties were separated and statements taken for possible charges.
Deputies assisted EMS with an intoxicated male at 5:46 p.m. at 900 Orange St., River Falls.
At 5:58 p.m., a man reported lights shining in his windows at N7372 County Road O, River Falls. Police checked the area and the only thing they noticed was Christmas lights on a nearby home that can be seen by the complainant. He didn’t respond to phone calls.
Friday, Dec. 12
At 9:06 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious, dirty white car with Texas plates near County Road C and 490th Avenue, Ellsworth. It was not located.
Officers assisted EMS with a woman who passed out and couldn’t walk at 9:14 a.m. at W7717 150th, Hager City.
Deputies assisted River Falls Fire at 10:18 a.m. at W10247 County Road FF, River Falls.
At 12:03 p.m., a man called police to report his neighbor’s vehicle on his property at W6803 170th, Bay City. The issue was resolved before officers arrived.
Officers were dispatched to a welfare check at 1:14 p.m. at Highway 63 and 830th Street, Hager City. The subject was given a ride to court.
Two people were arrested for meth possession after a traffic stop for driving without lights at 8:36 p.m. at Main and Grant streets, Ellsworth.
A driver was arrested for OWI after police responded to a driving complaint at 11:50 p.m. at Highway 63 and 410th Avenue, Ellsworth.
Saturday, Dec. 13
Deputies were dispatched to a one-vehicle slide-in at 3:44 a.m. at Highway 63 and 730th Avenue, Spring Valley. Police gave the driver a courtesy ride to a nearby gas station.
At 5:39 a.m., a caller reported a semi blaring its horn repeatedly near S405 McKay Avenue, Spring Valley. It was not located.
Officers responded to a two-vehicle fender bender at 8:51 a.m. at S1450 County Road CC, Spring Valley.
At 9;59 a.m., a caller informed police of a broken off gate that appeared to be damaged by a vehicle slide-in at W11197 840th, River Falls.
At 4:10 p.m., a caller complained of loud snowmobiles in the area near County Road U and 145th Avenue, Plum City.
At 9:56 p.m., police investigated suspicious footprints in the snow at County Road S and 300th Street, Maiden Rock. They appeared to be old with no signs of human activity.
Officers assisted as needed with a one-vehicle slide-in at 10:20 p.m. at County Road CC and Highway 10, Maiden Rock.
Sunday, Dec. 14
Deputies responded to a one-vehicle slide-in at 2:07 a.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street (south intersection), Hager City. The driver was arrested for possession of THC, felony bail jumping and possess a concealed handgun.
Officers were dispatched at 9:04 a.m. to N3330 490th, Ellsworth, for a 97-year-old person without a pulse.
Police were dispatched to a suicide attempt at 10:18 a.m. at a home in the 3500 block of Highway 35, Maiden Rock. EMS transported a woman who apparently slit her own throat to a hospital.
Officers responded to an animal complaint at 12:12 p.m. at N3754 County Road DD, Bay City. When they arrived, the issue had been resolved.
Police conducted a welfare check at 2:11 p.m. at N2064 County Road K, Hager City. All was well.
Officers were asked to check on horses’ welfare at 3:09 p.m. at N3430 County Road O, Hager City. They had plenty of food and water and looked healthy. Officers left a voicemail for the property owner regarding a dead foal on the property.
Deputies assisted Prescott police at 3:29 p.m. at 1028 Borner St.
A truck slid into the ditch at 4:13 p.m. at Highway 35 and 1240th Street, Prescott. The driver was revoked and charges were forwarded to the district attorney.
Officers were dispatched to an accident without damage at 5:54 p.m. at N4824 530th, Ellsworth.
Police were dispatched to a business alarm at 11:59 p.m. at N8230 945th, River Falls. All was in order.
Monday, Dec. 15
Officers were notified of a welfare check at 12:39 a.m. at N8281 965th St., River Falls.
