The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Feb. 17-23, 2026.
Tuesday, Feb. 17
At 10:28 a.m., police responded to a domestic at W419 N. Second St., Spring Valley. A man was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and battery.
At 11:58 a.m., deputies assisted Spring Valley police in clearing a building for a search warrant at W115 N. Fourth St., Spring Valley.
Deputies assisted Prescott police at 5:52 p.m. at 1218 Filkins St.
At caller reported a car vs. dog crash at 6:30 p.m. at County Road D and Highway 35, Bay City. The dog reportedly walked away and was not found.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with a juvenile complaint at 6:51 p.m. at an address in the 800 block of Helen Street.
Police checked on a vehicle with its hazards on at 8:14 p.m. at County Road S and 450th Avenue, Plum City. A man was provided a courtesy ride home.
Deputies assisted St. Croix County with traffic control at 9:41 p.m. at Highway 63 and 890th Avenue, Baldwin.
Wednesday, Feb. 18
At 8:18 a.m., police spoke with a business that left a vehicle parked at a quarry without permission at W4420 Highway 10, Ellsworth. They agreed not to park there in the future.
Officers assisted the co-responder with a welfare check at 8:32 a.m. at W2801 230th, Maiden Rock.
Police received an animal complaint at 10:03 a.m. at N5339 515th, Ellsworth.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 10:54 a.m. at 346 E. Wall St.
At 11:13 a.m., police spoke to a man about abandoned property at W3472 450th, Maiden Rock. He was advised how to have the property legally removed.
At 2:35 p.m., police spoke to a complainant about tenant right issues at W7290 170th, Bay City.
Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at 3:39 p.m. at 610th Avenue and Highway 65, Ellsworth. Interviews and photographs were collected.
Deputies were dispatched to a minor crash at 4:05 p.m. at 879th Avenue and 1020th Street, River Falls. The drivers exchanged information.
At 4:13 p.m., police assisted with traffic control for multiple vehicles stuck in the roadway at county roads F and FF, River Falls.
Police checked on two vehicles pulled to the side of the road at 4:56 p.m. at Second and Division streets, River Falls. They exchanged information after a fender bender.
Officers were dispatched to a vehicle slide-in at 5:16 p.m. at Highway 65 and 650th Avenue, Beldenville. Someone picked up the driver, who called a tow.
A tow removed a vehicle from the ditch at 5:37 p.m. at Highway 65 and County Road J, Beldenville.
Deputies were called to a vehicle in the ditch at 6:06 p.m. at Highway 35 and 370th Avenue, Prescott. They gave the driver a courtesy ride home.
Police found a vehicle in the ditch at 6:11 p.m. at Highway 65 and 790th Avenue, Beldenville. One passenger remained onsite while the driver and other passengers had gotten a ride.
Officers were notified of a two-vehicle crash at 6:13 p.m. at Highway 63 and 450th Avenue, Ellsworth.
A single-vehicle slide-in occurred at 6:20 p.m. at Highway 35 and 1110th Street, Prescott. The driver was able to drive out of the field.
Officers assisted Elmwood EMS at 6:23 p.m. at N6449 330th, Elmwood.
Police were notified of a vehicle in the ditch at 6:26 p.m. at Highway 65 and 820th Street, Beldenville. A tow was called.
Officers provided traffic control for a vehicle stuck on the hill at 6:30 p.m. at Highway 35 and 1180th Street, Prescott.
Police were notified of a two-vehicle crash at 6:43 p.m. that had occurred earlier in the day at County Road CC and Highway 29, Spring Valley. The drivers exchanged information; both vehicles were drivable.
Ellsworth police assisted deputies with multiple vehicles in the ditch at 6:45 p.m. at 750th Street and 490th Avenue, Ellsworth. A tow removed them.
Deputies were asked to look for a disabled vehicle at 7:03 p.m. near Highway 63 and 390th Avenue, Ellsworth. It was found at a different location; the driver was able to get out of the ditch.
Semis became stuck on the hill at 7:07 p.m. at 710th Street and 450th Avenue, Ellsworth. They eventually were moved.
A crash without damage was reported at 7:17 p.m. at county roads QQ and M, Prescott.
Vehicles were stuck in the roadway at 7:22 p.m. at Highway 63 ad 210th Avenue, Hager City. They were able to move themselves.
Police responded to a vehicle slide-in at 7:28 p.m. at County Road BB and Highway 29, Spring Valley. No damage was reported.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 11:02 p.m. at 455 E. Wall St.
Thursday, Feb. 19
Officers were called to a one-vehicle crash with damage at 6:37 a.m. at County Road E and 690th Avenue, River Falls.
A vehicle was towed that had been there since before the storm at 6:44 a.m. from 1090th Street and Highway 29, River Falls.
A dog was found at 8:23 a.m. at N8562 660th, River Falls.
Officers assisted EMS at 10:19 a.m. at N4605 1068th, Prescott.
Hunters possibly trespassing was reported at 11:38 a.m. at N2006 190th, Maiden Rock.
Deputies took information on a found dog at 12:15 p.m. at N4782 County Road S, Elmwood.
Deputies assisted Spring Valley police at 2:11 p.m. at 307 Sabin Ave.
Police spoke to a man about a civil matter at 7:01 p.m. at N5981 745th, Ellsworth.
Deputies assisted Prescott police at 7:26 p.m. at 461 Gibbs St.
Police conducted a welfare check on a man walking on the road at 8:49 p.m. at County Road VV and Highway 63, Hager City. He didn’t need any help.
Deputies assisted Prescott police with a fight at 8:56 p.m. at 138 N. Broad St.
At 9:06 p.m., a person who was not the homeowner wanted people removed from W12276 Highway 29, Prescott. They had permission from the homeowner to be there.
Officers assisted EMS at 11:14 p.m. at 1651 S. Ridge Road, River Falls.
Friday, Feb. 20
Police responded to a one-vehicle crash without injuries at 6:42 a.m. at Highway 63 and County Road Y, River Falls.
Officers spoke with a complainant regarding suspicious activity at 8:14 a.m. at county roads V and C, Ellsworth.
Deputies assisted with a lift assist at 9:29 a.m. at N3563 County Road OO, Hager City.
Police arrested a motorist for possession of fentanyl, possess drug paraphernalia and two Minnesota warrants after a traffic stop for speeding at 2:18 p.m. at Highway 35 and 1050th Street, Prescott.
A man was arrested for a Pierce County warrant after police responded to an unwanted person call at 2:44 p.m. at N735 825th, Hager City.
Police were dispatched to an assault at 5 p.m. at N1435 810th, Hager City. EMS transported a man to Red Wing Mayo for evaluation.
At 5:46 p.m., a caller reported man walking on the side of the road at Highway 29 and 900th Street, River Falls. The man was having a mental health crisis and voluntarily went to the hospital.
Deputies, Prescott police and EMS were dispatched to a welfare check at 6:08 p.m. at N5001 1208th, Prescott. No one was home.
A loose dog was reported at 10:35 p.m. at Main Street and Cemetery Road in River Falls. It was not located.
Saturday, Feb. 21
A driver was arrested for OWI-second after a traffic stop for speeding at 12:30 a.m. at Highway 63 ad 825th Street (north intersection), Hager City.
Loose horses were called in at 1:59 a.m. at W2096 County Road CC, Maiden Rock. Their owner was able to collect them.
Officers conducted a welfare check at 9:05 a.m. at N7420 County Road O, River Falls. The man admitted to making comments to the operator of a hotline because he was made at them.
Police assisted Red Wing EMS at 12:53 p.m. at W7273 155th, Bay City.
Deputies arrested a driver for OWI-first, possession of THC, operate without valid license (second) and driving with open intoxicants after a traffic stop for swerving all over the road at 1:54 p.m. at County Road CC and Highway 10, Maiden Rock.
Police arrested a driver for OWI-third and misdemeanor bail jumping after a traffic stop for running a stop sign at 4:02 p.m. at N1658 County Road VV, Hager City.
Officers were dispatched to a possible assault at 5:43 p.m. at 124 Pine Ave., Plum City. The victim declined to file a report.
Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check at 11:20 p.m. at 150th Street and County Road P, Elmwood. The call was directed to Dunn County.
Police located a suspicious vehicle at 11:33 p.m. at 450th Street and County Road G, Ellsworth. The subject was coyote hunting.
Sunday, Feb. 22
Officers were dispatched to a suicide attempt at 1:56 a.m. at a home in the 300 block of Sabin Avenue, Spring Valley. EMS transported one person to the hospital where a safety plan was put into place.
Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at 7:16 a.m. at N7213 County Road O, River Falls. The car struck a fence.
At 9:37 a.m., a man at N7420 County Road O, River Falls, called dispatch upset that law enforcement had conducted a welfare check on him the previous day after he made concerning statements to a hotline. He swore at officers multiple times and threatened them.
At 11:41 a.m., a complainant reported a sign taken out of their yard at W11936 County Road FF, River Falls. Three other signs were also ripped down.
An injured cat was reported at 11:46 a.m. at County Road D and 250th Avenue, Bay City. It was not located.
Police conducted a welfare check at 2:40 p.m. at W7670 Highway 10, Ellsworth. All were fine.
An anonymous caller was concerned about a skinny horse at 2:54 p.m. at W7409 710th, Beldenville. The horse though old, was in good health and had food and water.
At 8:43 p.m., police were dispatched to Red Wing Mayo to speak to someone about an assault that had allegedly occurred at W8050 150th, Hager City.
Deputies were dispatched to a possible domestic at 9:37 p.m. at W6911 210th, Bay City. The parties were separated for the night.
Monday, Feb. 23
A subject was arrested for a warrant at 1:31 a.m. at 311 S. Woodworth St., Elmwood.
A caller reported dogs in the roadway at 8:54 a.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street (south intersection), Hager City. The owner was informed.
